The services are really poor, room lacks basic amenities like kettle or working coffee machine. The hotel feels like a boutique multilighted hotel, not even close to 4/5 star. Front desk is not aware of most of the things. Room service was not taking calls because they mentioned that staff is not enough... And then they ask for TripAdvisor reviews... Lol.. some painted walls and statues cannot provide the basic comfort a guest requires... Isn't it?

I can not speak to the price, because I stayed on points. However, this hotel is fantastic. The rooms are great and the service is excellent. We got the best recommendations from the concierge that I have ever received.

Stylish and luxurious hotel in the heart of Amsterdam - located right opposite the iconic Centraal Station and not too far from Dam square. Cosmopolitan and modern styling dominates the hotel, with art pieces located at strategic areas. A dedicated art curator is also available for those who are interested! We arrived very early and so had to wait as our room wasn't ready - not a problem, as we went out to explore the city. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the room was cozy and swanky. Hard to beat location, with very friendly and professional staff. The restaurant (5&33) could do with a bit of a menu overhaul however. Very pleasant experience and would definitely stay there again.

Excelent location and very nice rooms. The hotel's decoration is a plus too! Nevertheless, the service could be improved. The cleaning ladies hadn't gone to my room until 6PM on a sunday and the waiters weren't that efficient during breakfast. Would come back!

Confartable Discreet and Professional. Excellent Breakfast Service with the Staff immaculaty dressed. Excellently located right next to Centraal Station. Pool and Sauna facilities available. Definitely the spot for Art Lovers. They have their own gallery and spontaneous artist in the lobby. Loved loved loved it.

I was here for an event concerning OnePlus' new phone. The interior looked clean and well maintained while also reflecting creative vibes. If you like art in many forms, art'otel is a nice choice

I stayed at the Art Otel from 24 Aug through 30 Aug 2019. The hotel is in a central area; right across the Amsterdam Centraal Station and close to other tourist attractions. I have only one complaint about this hotel. The safe was not working in my room (#3022) but I still decided to leave my passport and a wallet with pounds (was going to UK afterwards), credit cards and a $100 bill. Unfortunately, I only realized once I was in Brussels that some of my money had been stolen (most likely by housekeeper). I was missing the $100 bill and a 20 pound bill. I ve tried calling the hotel multiple times since I arrived in Brussels and the UK but the call just drops. Lesson learned - if the safe in your room is not working, do not leave anything in it - there are many thieves working at 5-star hotels, too.

Nice and unique 5 star hotel with very good location. Food there is a bit pricy for its quality. Staffs are very very helpful, we really enjoyed our stay there. Highlights are the library area and the gallery.

The staff are very friendly. The location is great, being right across from Central Station. Amenities include free crisps, nuts, and bottled water. Daily! The theme is very modern and contemporary, with elaborate sculptures and art decorations. The bathrooms are spacious, equipped with a brobdignagian tub. I would recommend this place.

A unique experience! Great hotel in the city center. It feels like a contemporary art museum. Very close to the central station but above all close to any tram or metro in the city. Every evening they leave products for the treatment of the body or face. The room is spectacular with artwork and design manuals. We will certainly come back!

Room was very nice, although the TV is boxed in so you can't connect a HDMI cable to watch what you want instead. The service at breakfast was mixed, and they got confused about whether we had paid for breakfast with our room, which we had. Bar was great, the art was interesting, and room service was beautiful!

Super location and delightful service! Very friendly service, the rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful. The bathroom is also spacious enough and the rain shower is pleasant. The breakfast is more than adequate to make everyone happy "morning and the restaurant in the hotel is top notch! Very good food. Price / quality I think it is just the high side, but that is mainly due to the location to the main station. But highly recommended, for everyone.

Nice hotel, nice clean room, not really had time to view the art gallery. Helpful staff, nice atmospheric restaurant with excellent food but don't expect star quality. Good breakfast buffet with many fresh options to order (egg dishes, pancakes).
The pool is shared with the Victoria hotel. Was a bit on the small side and to get there you have to walk through the lobby and restaurant with your bathrobe. Sauna was difficult indicated and there are no 'spa' facilities. Temperature around the pool was a bit on the low side (cold).

Absolutely great location and staff, and interesting art distributed across the hotel. This was my second time staying here. The rooms are quite dusty (both times). The walls and doors need to be dusted.

With a state-of-the-art interior on a traditional facade, it is one of the best hotels in Amsterdam. Convenient location in front of Central Station, pleasant service, indoor swimming pool and sauna, free 24-hour wine bar, in-room snack service. One drawback was that the sauna and pool time was from 9 am to 9 pm, so it was not easy to use. I would like to increase one hour back and forth.

As a frequent guest I can only say that the concierge, reception and restaurant team, are exceptional, personal, very friendly and not overly formal and would go out of their way to make your stay a great experience. The rooms are modern, with king size beds, large bathrooms with great showers. The dinner menu is not great for business travelers though, as most options are for shared dining (so either too big or too small for one), but they offer one of the best breakfasts (included in the rate) I had in hotels, brought to your room for only a 5 tray charge on your desired time.

Rooms are fine but very noisy, restaurant downstairs music banging until 2:30 am. Small bathroom no bathtub only shower available. Some of the staff are inexperienced and unfriendly to oriental customers. The food was average, not worth it. For most hotel they get your credit as deposit right after you check in the hotel and I did gave them my credit card for that. However the hotel staff told me is their hotel policy for the customer to go down reception with him at once to swipe your credit card and sign for every hotel spending in case customers refuse to pay. Is it because we are Asian, therefore have this kind of special treatment? A way of racial discrimination?!

Great location - good hotel. Evenings with a DJ - was not quite mine now - but maybe also suitable for Amsterdam ...
Hotel in the price & star class can offer even more. But .... this is complaining at a high level ...

A beautiful hotel! from the moment we stepped foot into the hotel from the moment we left we had an amazing time. the staff went above and beyond! the food was outstanding, the ambience is so nice! I can't fault the hotel, only if we could have stayed longer!!

In 13 years had never noticed this place. A colleague chose it for a team meeting and I must say I was gladly surprised. We had simple lunch (sandwiches, salad and sweets) but they were really tasty. Decorations inside can be quite unusual good for a quiet meeting or for groups.
Tip: If you happen to be there on a sunny day, go for a walk. You will not regret it

A hotel with a truly breathtaking design, spacious rooms and an exceptional bed. The reception is always attentive, the bar is very beautiful and the decor pleasant. Very nice, the bathroom area with toilet and large separate shower.

The pool is available all the time! It s a haven of peace!
On the other hand, on the bar side, the cocktails are a bit expensive ... especially given the quantity.

In short I highly recommend it is art to the end! To discover. By choice I leave it to you to discover a room when you arrive.

To improve: household carts in the corridors all day ...

Nice.

The Art'otel Amsterdam is a luxurious hotel with just a slightly naughty twist expressed in some of the imagery and a unique piece of art in all the rooms. Rooms are highly comfortable. Location is just top almost opposite Central Station at the head of the Old City. The indoor swimming pool is quite nice indeed and rather rare in Amsterdam. Restaurant 5&33 provides delicious and a bit alternative cooking following the sharing concept. Overall a top choice in Amsterdam.

-Good location just opposite the Amsterdam main station.
-Helpful staff.
-Good breakfast.
-Not recommended for families with children as some art sculptures in the hotel are inappropriate.
-Nice sauna, steamroom, water jet massage beds.

We stayed at Art'otel Amsterdam during 18.7-25.7.19
Its location is great. Right in the heart of Amsterdam. 4 minutes from Amsterdam's centeral station. The hotel is nicely decorated, the room was very big, breakfast was very good, you can order an omelette and it's made right on the spot. There are two things I think they need to improve. The room's cleaningness is the first. There was appearant dust onto the bed's deck which could easily be cleaned with a cloth. It was also dusty in other parts of the room. The second thing is the staff's service. Most of the staff were very nice and welcoming. However, the recepionist who checked us in wasn't welcoming and also didn't tell us what was the time of breakfast and that there wasn't a password for the wifi. (Its connection was very good) these are not critical issues, however I excpect a 5 star hotel to give an excellent service. I will defintely recommend staying at Art'otel and will choose it again when in Amsterdam.
