Very, very clean cafe with friendly staff. Had a New York deli panini and it was excellent, plenty of filling and toasted to perfection. Coffee was lovely, had a plain black coffee and it was not bitter. Toilets are upstairs so would be difficult for disabled visitors. Very impressed with overall experience.

There is adequate seating in and outside of the building. Before 9:00am they charge 1 pound for a regular drink.
The workers there are not only talented, they are polite and even when there is a lot of business in the morning, they keep working well.

Luxurious food with good coffee the staff are friendly and helpful, if you work locally and have work ID you get 10% off the cookie and brownie slice is to die for and worth every penny the cheese scones are melt in your mouth.

Absolutely lovely little cafe. Staff are welcoming and helpful, I had an oat mocha and it tasted so good, and a white chocolate brownie which was one of the best I've had at a cafe. Cafe Pure has outdoor seating and is located near the St Georges NUA campus and the river, the location is really cute and full of light.

Had a lovely coffee with my partner today at Cafe Pure. It's not the first time we have visited, the range of snacks, cakes and light bites are well presented and varied. Everything is fresh and we opted for one of their scones which, was very tasty. The coffee was fresh and a lovely blend. My only two criticisms was the temperature of the coffee, the latte could have been warmer..my other criticism is the fact that animals are allowed in, a dog came in with it's owner who then queued for food. I am a dog lover, but my partner is allergic to dog hair. With such a high hygiene rating on the door, perhaps they need to review their policy as we had to leave. I don't agree with having animals in any food establishment, even if you're not allergic, some people are very wary of animals, particularly dogs. Animals in a restaurant/coffee shop do not mix, especially around food!

Good array of drinks and snacks. They do quiz nights and all sorts there. Scones are crazy good -especially cheese and onion chutney. And they are affordable. Really feel like you're getting your moneys worth too!

Fantastic coffees, really tasty cakes, panini's, baguettes etc. A really great little cafe with friendly staff. The brownies are especially recommended! Open in evenings and licensed too (although I haven't tried this to comment on the experience).

Considering how many great coffee shops there are ...

Considering how many great coffee shops there are in the city it's surprising to find one that would be considered average in most small towns. Walk a couple of minutes in any direction to find something much better.

[EDIT] As pointed out by the cafe my less than stellar review sticks out among the others so I'll clarify my reasons. First of all I haven't eaten here so I can't comment on the food, my review is purely based on the coffee and service.

I've visited twice on recommendation of clients for an informal meeting. Both of those times I've requested an Americano which you'd expect a barista to know is a black coffee but, both times, have been surprised that I didn't want milk and, both times, has been served with milk. I'm willing to put this down to a general feeling of chaos behind the counter rather than staff training but it's annoying either way. Both times I've been made to feel like I'm being awkward for asking for the correct drink.

The coffee isn't great. It might be the machine, it might be the barista, it might be the coffee itself. When you've got amazing coffee being produced in Norwich itself, as well as an abundance of amazing coffee shops doing wonders with those coffees, it's unusual to find somewhere that just does "average" coffee.

I may be mistaken but I also seem to recall that there's no flat white option on the menu, which is strange considering how popular they are at this time.

I love this little coffee shop, the girls are super friendly & I know my mum who is disabled can go there on her own as staff will always help her in, if you haven't tried them I thoroughly and can't recommend their cheese scones enough, when I go with mum we have a scone & you can guarantee that I'll buy extra ro take home, if you like jarold's scones these are better.

This is just a great little cafe, friendly staff and good prices. I tend to judge a cafe by the quality of its flat white and I have to say that it's very good from here.

The cake selection always looks appealing and I will occasionally treat myself to one.

I like this place, took the kids, always friendly and the cakes are all fresh and hand made (or that's how it appears).
Coffee not bad either. Not super central, but that area (near the Playhouse) becoming a nice little book away from the madding crowd.

The cafe is lovely. The coffe tastes great and is good value. They offer (Dec-18) and early bird special. Food looks great, however I have only tried their croissants, which are lovely - especially the chocolate ones. Lots of seating in the cafe and usually there is somewhere to sit. We often go for impromptu meetings here, howvere be aware that the coffe is made using a proper barista machine which can be quite loud. Would thoroughly recommend.

I am often in here on Wednesday mornings with a local church group which has just celebrated Morning Prayer. On this particular day, I had a mocha and a bacon ciabatta. I do like this place, even when it was the Orange Tree, a pity that Cafe Pure don't do the breakfast, but I will certainly settle for a bacon or a sausage ciabatta and a cup of tea.
