I'd worked with a lot of slaptstick carsalesman recruiters in the past year as well as a few good ones and I have to say my experience with ARS recruiter Dan Igou was the best. Talk about reliable and hard working, he always kept you in the loop and he never let up if processes slowed down. A+
Settled a past debt with this company - I was late on my final payment but manager Martin I. helped me work it. He was super understanding and helped find a solution.
Very shady. Started contacting me about a bill that was settled 4 years ago.
The main number doesn t answer when I tried to call back . The man that called was very threatening Mike . Saying he had called and sent letters and was suing . When I called back he tried to be a bully and when he saw that I was not going to tolerate it he kept hanging up ! I called back to ask for his supervisors name and he would not give it to me .
Garbage, pure garbage. Service, products etc. Garbage.
Scam !! Susan Walker is rude and disrespectful soon as she called me she was screaming and yelling over a $100 dollars (that i agreed to pay) she has real angry issues and needs to get some real help i know these people collect on accounts but i wouldn't trust giving anything to this angry lady
This is a scam. Steer clear of dishing any info to these guys.
The website is terrible. Customer service is right there with it, they cannot seem to reply to online messages or otherwise. ARS seems like a scam.
Ars was very helpful and informative during my debt recovery process. Knowledge and flexible policies and staff helped me get back on track. Thank you for all of your help!!!
I owed almost $1k for a Chase credit card. The guy I spoke with was Jovon W. He was very helpful and reasonable. He allowed me to do a payment plan for a settlement and was respectful. Not like your average bill collector. But I did keep getting letters stating that I made payments but the total due was incorrect. Called about it (during off hours) and left a message. Will call again for an update during the week.
settled my 7k debt in one business day for 1.5k. Don't forget these people buy your debt for 4c on the dollar. Every single I spoke with was honest and consise. Thank you for making a painful expeirence go well!
SCAM. They refuse to tell me about their company. I refuse to tell them anything about myself. All my bills are paid in FULL. Just a company that rips off people.
They call asking for my significant other. I say, who is this? Who are you with? They say, I can t tell you anything I say, I can t tell you anything until I know who you are and why you re calling.. They refuse to say anything. My girlfriend and I have never had anything go to collections. Doesn t make sense for them to call me. Why don t you just tell people why you re calling? Or just don t call people over and over!
I would give zero stars if I could, but felt I had to post a review. they're a phishing scam, and pretty shady too. they won't give you any info on who they are or why they call. they won't even give you a phone number to call them. i have no delinquencies, but if this was a "real" 3rd party collection agency, they would take any info they could get in order to close a case and get paid
nope nope nope. These poor people that work here have nothing in their lives. They're bitter on the phone, ruthless about meeting their sad little quota.
They allowed me to do payments that fit my budget and understood our situation, she was respectful and very kind.
Total rip off! BEWARE of this company. Do not believe that they are REAL please verify that the account is with them.
I make a call to find out an account. This lady is was rude is like she don't understand my situation she was making me a lot of question seriously.
bottom feeders! I loved having my Macy's visa CC.... Macy's is a great company and really worked with me when i was going through a hardship. paid my account in full and parted our ways. Then i get a letter just like the 3 before saying i still owe on my macy's card. I then had to send them my paid in full letter from macy's...and had to send it certified $$ please if your trying hard to be responsible and pay your debt dont let ppl like this get a few hundred more bux out of you!! other companies to watch out for: Plaza Recovery Inc., UCB United collections bureau. They all sound SO official, but they are not! You have the right to your privacy and these companies are interfering with your rights. DO NOT pay these people!
Just received a letter in the mail from these people, after receiving a million other letters from this other company about an account that I paid off in 2011!! If I could find out how, I would sue them. I m sick of the bs. I have absolutely NOTHING in my collections nor on my account regarding whatever account they are sending me a letter about. The other company that said they were a debt collection agency, I asked for them to provide me with proof that I OWED and they provided me with an old statement lol hell I can provide an old statement. It didn t say past due or nothing. I called and they said that they didn t have the rights to submit my account to collections. Of course you don t because I been paid my account off, SO WHY ARE WE EVEN TALKING?!
Called me, wouldn't say why. I have no outstanding debts, and no business dealings with them. Hopefully no one calls for whatever scam they're running.
I m a past employee and I m in the process of starting a new job and they ve been trying to get a hold of Sharon in the HR department for over a week now. She has not responded and when I ve called I been sent to a voicemail when asking for a live person in her department. She is NEVER available to speak and no one can give you a time she will be available nor her contact information. I asked for a supervisor when on the phone with a customer service representative and was refused the opportunity to speak to one and told I m transferring you to the receptionist and they call deal with you . Needless to say I m glad to NOT be a part of such a horrible company!
I currently have a balance in collections from a certain bank, but I was getting letters from 2 different collections agencies about the same account. I took both letters into the bank to figure it out, and the teller told me that they had never even heard of this ARS company, and that my account was most definitely with the other debt collection agency. I also want to add that in their letters, ARS states: Some payment options include: Quick Check by phone, Western Union Quick Collect (City code: ARS38688269), and Moneygram Express payment (receive code: 3973). I would definitely say it s a scam, or a VERY shady company.
