Not worth the money to go to the water park $15 a person no matter what the age, pizza is not very good , and drinks are expensive. The toy awards for cashing in tickets from the arcade are just a joke. I am never going back to that place again.

We had a wedding with multiple rooms, which were literally spread out from one end to the other, even the reservations were made using the name of the wedding couple, (as most places will do to prevent this from happening). If you have a hard time walking long distances, good luck. Not very handicapped accessible in many areas. Two small elevators that were not working properly and slow (one time I was told the doors didn't even close all the way). Used the the stairs frequently, less frustration. There were no fans in the bathrooms. Toilet didn't flush. Bathroom door did not lock. Ironing boards broken in multiple rooms. Air conditioner in the one room barely worked. Two of the rooms had a smell of urine or something. The central air unit for the apartment suite was hidden and covered in bushes (not very effective). The whirlpool tub in the one room, didn't have the wall meet up to the tub on the one corner, so you could see the insulation. The beds were on the firm side, but pillows were nice. I was listening to 14 and 15 year olds wondering for all the money they charge where it goes? They don't keep coffee in the lobby all day long and when it's there in the morning it's frequently empty. Front desk staff was not overly friendly and didn't always seem to know what was going on. At checkout, there were people who had a $45 water park fee charged to their bill, which shouldn't have been there. I heard the Sunday breakfast buffet was good, although I didn't eat there. I don't leave reviews for resorts and hotels, because I don't expect all to be perfect, but this place was ridiculous. We didn't pay for $60 rooms, but that's what we got.

My son won a one night stay gift certificate to stay at Arrowwood resort for selling popcorn for Cub Scouts. He was so excited to treat his family to a mini vacation. Upon check in at the resort, we turned in the certificate, per instruction when I made reservation by phone, to the front desk attendant. She told my son congratulations as she received the certificate. So it was definitely noted by an associate of Arrowwood. After our express check out, after our stay, I noticed we were charged for the night we were supposed to receive free with the certificate. I called to see if they could remove the charge. After a review by Shari with the resort, she reimbursed us for our charge and also sent my son another certificate so that we could come back and experience the wonderful customer service again. Thank you Shari for your attentiveness and care in helping resolve this matter and for making this reward for our son extra special!

We took a three day long weekend here in late February. 6 adults and 4 kids under three. We stayed in a 4 bed 2 bath cottage. The cottage was a good size, plenty of room so weren't on top of each other. The staff had two cribs ready for us which was very helpful. We did notice that the kitchen was not as equipped as we would expect; a few knives with loose handles, a mismatch of measuring cups/pans, etc. A towel bar in the upstairs bathroom fell off of the wall, matience responded very quickly and was friendly. We also had some lamps missing light bulbs (no idea how that happens) We spent a Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon at the water park. Saturday morning it was CRAZY busy. Both days the water was cold, which is unfortunate with little ones as they got chills quickly. Also the snack bar was pricey. We ordered pizza from the hotel restaurant and it was very delicious! Arrived quickly and was HOT and fresh. We stayed over a blizzard and the scenery was GORGEOUS! Glittery white snow on the boughs of pine trees, the snow covered lake, and the winding road to the cabins. Plus the sledding hill was wicked fun! Overall we had a good experience, however the cottage could use a little TLC and re-stocking. We will be staying again!

Good.

Average overall. Front desk seemed disorganized, maintenance was somewhat on the deferred side and total cost was about 4k more than quoted for our group with buckle and dime items and no mention of room rates changing with the different days. Nice accommodations however.

We stayed 3 nights in one of the cottages and it was very nice! The main floor was a good central gathering area, and the lower and upper levels had generous bedroom space :) The nearby sledding hill was very fun! The Big Splash Waterpark has fairly limited winter hours, but we still managed to visit twice during our stay...however, the lifeguards don't seem to enforce any rules? There were unsupervised kids swimming beneath innertubes on the lazy river and hanging out in the whirlpool (beside a very large sign saying no one under the age of 12 is allowed), but I never once saw a lifeguard attempt to correct a guests' behavior. The water was nice and warm everywhere but the children's area! So many shivering little bodies! Even standing 10 ft from the giant bucket as it dumped itself out, we felt a chill from the water.

-Cleans Rooms

-Cleans Rooms
-Great service. Called to check to see if I needed anything in my room.
-Rooms dated. They have done a few updates, but not enough. Room felt dark, popcorn ceiling, old mirror doors, lumpy pillows, etc. Pool simply okay. I expected more for $150+ dollars a night.
-Lake Cafe- not impressed. I like great food and service when paying $300+ for 2 nights at a hotel. The hotel is connected to Lake Cafe. Breakfast they do well. Supper...we waited 40 minutes+ for our food and we had to leave for a show at Andria Theatre before we got it. It was such a bummer. We were hungry throughout the show. Then it was hard to find any restaurant other than Perkins that was open at 10 pm.
- Would I come back? If I had kids or to see how it is in summer maybe.

Great indoor and outdoor pool, modern rooms with nice amenities, and helpful staff everywhere. Marina and deck bar are great in the summer, and the nightly bonfires (and s'mores) were a hit with the kids!

I was an over night guest in one of the condos. It sleeps a ton of people for the price. The beds are very comfy and the customer service is superb. The food served at the conference center was fantastic especially the cookies!

We stayed at the hotel February 2021 and would not recommend to waste your hard earned money on a room. I could smell mold in the room, allergies flared up in the room, water damage on the ceiling, spider webs on the ceiling, and the toilet was dirty. I complained to management and they did not care. They have extra time to clean and they said the staff tries to get through the rooms as fast as possible. COVID is not an excuse for this because cleaning should be priority. The hotel has denied that my experience is true when they checked the room.

For almost $300 per night this place is definitely not worth it at all! It s dirty, humid, and unwelcoming. We stayed here two nights and we truly we uncomfortable the entire time! The rooms AC didn t work, the sliding door to the deck was broken and there were bugs and flies all over! I cannot believe that they can charge so much money for so little satisfaction! With the extreme high cost for the rooms they can at least upgrade the place ! P. S we were there for a wedding otherwise probably wouldn t have ever stayed there!

Good hotel nice rooms when we got there we had to wait a long time to get are room but the day before they where completely full so that is understandable. The water park was good they have 1 tube slide and 2 body slides and some other stuff but it could use some remodeling. They have food there. Some day they have a buffet. We ate breakfast there and it was good. Overall it was a good experience they had wifi Which was not great but I have had much worse wifi.

We stayed here and allow the paths were torn up there was still plenty of Beautiful things to see on the other trails.

Best place ever to stay! They have so many good things.
The rooms are amazing. The cabins are even better. Depending on the length of your stay and the size of family, the cabins are well worth the extra.
The restaurant and lounge are worth visiting. Food is amazing. Drinks are reasonably priced and very well made.
The do have a splash park as well as a smaller less crowded guest only pool and hot tub.
The staff is amazing! Wonderful!
Friendly, accommodating, generous!
I can t give them enough stars!!
We felt like family!

Location was fine and the bar & restaurant was good. We checked out the hotel pool and hot tub - it definitely is an afterthought. Not enough chairs, and not maintained well. The floor is downright dangerously slippery. We didn't go to the water park, but it looked nice. We did hear the lazy river is ok, except it goes under the walkway to the slides so you get everyone's wastewater off their feet and suits dripping on you, which would make me avoid it. The room was nice, but lack of care let me to not trust the housekeeping. The lamps were unplugged, which is odd for the housecleaning staff not to notice and the shower WOULD NOT drain, which they should definitely notice. It was above or ankles and gross. When notified on checkout, the front desk staff said we should've called them, but it was obviously not an option as we were in the shower... The $150 rate (without water park) is not reasonable for the experience we had.

Got locked out of the room and were told that every morning at noon we needed to reset the key. Found that the room wasn't serviced. No towels no bed being made and no cleaning of the room. Night time manager never apologized just offered excuses. Never fully serviced the room. Motel 6 service at Four Seasons prices.

We stayed for a family weekend getaway, the first since February. I'd say it was...fine. Stay was during COVID, and I would say both the staff and other guests staying could have observed the mask requirements and social distancing much better. I felt uncomfortable in the main parts of the building.

We ate breakfast at the Lake Cafe buffet...and we were blown away with the amazing staff, the socially distant seating arrangements, the servers at the buffet...all of it was great and we enjoyed our breakfast.

The waterpark was also a highlight for us, and we spent almost all Saturday afternoon there, and part of Sunday morning. The lifeguards were not wearing masks, and seemed more interested in flirting and playing games with each other than the safety of the guests there. The water was warm, there were tons of floats for everyone, and the play structures and slides were great.

Renting paddleboats and mini golf were fun too. We were impressed with the amount of included amenities for guests, and wish we could have taken advantage of more. The lake is so clear and clean, and wasn't very busy even though it was a nice summer weekend.

The room was huge, beds were comfy but the pillows were a bit flat. The balcony looking at the lake was amazing, and having coffee there in the morning was great.

Overall...a mixed bag but we did enjoy our stay. We may try to come back again after COVID, but would not come back during this time because safety measures were not being strictly enforced.

If your looking for a getaway vacation for the entire family but dont wanna spend a lot of money, then worry no more since Arowwood resort got you covered. They have a buffet, a waterpark, a good location with no traffic, and good outdoor activities. The only thing I would like this resort to improve on is beds

Rooms are spacious and inviting, there is a huge water park attached so you don't have to go outside at all. Staff is courteous. There is also outdoor activities that include water sports on the lake.

Great atmosphere on the terrace deck near the lake. The food is generally good as pub food goes. I had the very non-pub seared ahi as a salad. Loved it.
We were a group of of over 20 with a lone waitress and her service was excellent. There was acoustic music that added to the atmosphere.

We are here for a family reunion, resort is nice, staff has been nice, but the rooms are dated and need of repair. The beds are hard as a rock and for the price of the room it is not worth it. Slum lord comes to mind when I think of this hotel, with all the money they bring in this place should be renovated and brought up to date and comfort. I wouldn't stay here again because of the beds. We have a nice sized loft room with king size bed but I slept on the pull out sofa because the bed was so hard and uncomfortable, no wonder most of our family reunion guests stayed at a different hotel!

Rooms are a little outdated but spacious with nice added sink outside the bathroom. Friendly staff. Generally noisy hotel, maybe d/t poor room insulation or lots of events... Water park was half closed (the hot tub area and big activity pool). Loved the outside activities!! So much to do and it's all readily available!
