The park is one of the finest provincial parks I have ever visited. They have 500 plus camping sites and 10 cabin camping sites. Trails and hikes are long, moderate level and interesting. Number of parkings available. Arrowhead lake has a great view. Arrowhead lake trail is good one explore. Loved it. Gonna visit again for sure.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Arrowhead Provincial Park in the Summer, and I am looking forward to visiting during the winter. Arrowhead is one of the parks that is open year round, and it's just a lovely mix of comfort and awe inspiring natural beauty.

There were several picnic tables along the beach and it felt very comfortable to get some fresh air and float on the water.

Always try to get to the park early (at least for now), they're limiting numbers and there is usually a lineup on the weekend. It's a beautiful park.

It was our first time to Arrowhead and we loved it. Very private sites. Only downfall was are friends were staying in a different row there is no short cut access had to walk all the way to the end and Down to the next area all the way down.

Went for the skating trail. Unfortunately it was closed but we were still able to hike and walk around the park. Be sure to ask if snow shoes are required. The guide was kind enough to tell us that due to the conditions of the trails that snow shoes weren't really required.

Was really excited to go on skating trail, only to find it closed. Checked status on website at 9am before leaving cottage to get here for 11am (opening time) and it said "Skating: Open!" but really they just didn't update it! Thanks for wasting 3 hours of my time and gas driving round-trip! Will never return.

We went ice skating on the 1+ km trail at Arrowhead. To say we got our workout in would be an understatement. Five laps = 5+ km of pure calorie-burning cardio. Rental skates were cheap too, at only $10 for 3 hrs.

The trail had a good variation of uphill and downhill gradients, though the ice isn't the smoothest as it gets shredded by all its patrons. Unfortunately, the 'Fire and Ice' event was cancelled on the day we went site to warmer weather.

Overall, we had an excellent time! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid workout on ice and a fun time

beautiful park, staff was super friendly and helpful...only downfall was being eaten alive by the mosquitoes and deer flies which is completely normal at the time of year. I would love to go back for the day when the leaves are changing colour

Outdoor skating rink is a lot of fun - but it can get very very busy, especially when they have 'fire and ice' nights (aka. they light torches).
You can rent skates as well as cross-country skies.

The Arrowhead Trail was a disaster. A 5km trail took us 3 hours because the trail was not properly matked out. We walked into people's campground. Thank God we were able to have some drinks and a BBQ with them. I have been to every National Patk in Canada and this has to be the worst one.

For me, a beginner of cross-country skiing, I am very happy to skate on the primary ski trail. The beautiful scenery along the way is refreshing and refreshing. Highly recommend this good place for skiing!

I went for a hike Saturday Oct 24th, 2020 on the Beaver Meadow Trail and although I always enough the outdoors, I was very disappointed in the lack of trail signage and direction provided. $15 for 2 hrs hike turned into a 3hr hike trying to find the proper trail. The trail was in disrepair with broken wood boards wich made parts of the trail dangerous in slippery conditions.

Went in the beginning of December. There was some decent snow, enough for snowshoeing fun but most other activities were closed. The heated showers and washrooms on- site were perfect retreats after completing the activities. I would imagine it is way more scenic and lively in summer and deeper winter. I hope to visit again sometime then.

A gem of a park! It has gorgeous hiking trails from 1km to 15 kms....beautiful Waterfall. In the winter it has a skating oval and cross country skiing. The Campgrounds are spacious and sites are large. We have a season pass and make good use of it.

We stayed in South Lumby. Sites were spacious, flat and mostly sandy. The comfort station there was ok. Showers were intense. Both extremely cold water, and a stream of water that could nearly remove skin! Beaches were busy but nice. Overall decent place, but if we were going to stay again, we would try for East River campground instead. Thicker tree coverage there as well

Best all-around campsite within 2-300 km of Toronto
I've camped all over British Columbia Alberta Ontario very spacious well laid out camps sights and overalls lots of privacy
Lake has multiple beaches most campsites are within a five minute walk of the beach lots of canoes and kayaks to rent best rate is to book for 24-hour rental

most campgrounds are close to highways and railways This place is super quiet

Beaches and the water quality are A++

Beaches and the water quality are A++
Maintenance and the campsites are A++
My concern is about showers!
1- only 5 for a big group of campsite (all campgrounds are the same)
2- very high pressure and tooooo- long time of shower.
3- ventilation is very poor
...I hope an improvement on showers and washrooms (they need renovation)
And We will visit you again next year!
Seeya.

Amazing nature! The tubing line is very slow and once you are down the hill you must bring back ur tube walking up the hill back. Not a bad walk tho. But a long wait time and the tubing is so quick like less than 10second lol the ice skating in the forest is an amazing experience. They have night time skating too but i recommend the day time. Night time is more dangerous and cant take pictures in the dark the skating trail is ok but some places the ice is very bumpy i was scared time to time. Bring your own skates bc the rental line is crazy. During the busy season theres soooo many ppl everywhere.

We love Arrowhead - its nicely laid out, great sites, and easy to get to. We stayed at Roe campground in site 400 - super private but an easy walk to the vault toilets (which were actually flushable and had a sink - a nice surprise). My only complaint - our site had a trail running through it. All the sites along that section do. I think its part of the winter ski trails, when the actual campsites are closed. However several people on bikes and walking their dogs decided to ignore the barriers at either end and use it anyways. Its a little disconcerting to look out the window at 7am and see someone walking around your fire pit.

Also it would be nice to have lights in the toilets, or outside them.

Went in the winter to the skating Trail. It was magical. What a beautiful way to enjoy skating. Weekends get busy so go early to find a parking spot. They also have a fire pit so bring warm clothes so you can stay awhile.

Great spot for the whole family. We went cross country skiing with a 4, 5 and 6 year old for 3 hrs! Lol, it was a slow start but we all had a blast in the end. We rented all the equipment there for a great price. We'll be going back!

Great park with well visitors number control. Recommend for trail walk, hiking and cycling. The difficulty is around beginner and intermediate level. BTW all the trails are fantastic except the 'Homesteaders Skate', it's confusing with the sign. Lastly, the distance length of each trails on the park map is wrong. The distance is way longer than what they describe on the map. Enjoy!

I was very impressed with this park. It is well maintained. The bathrooms, although there's a good gap under the door and no lights, was an actual flush toilets bathroom. The camp sites are decently secluded, well kept and we had a blast. I will say tho that the wood they sold us was not well seasoned so a fire was a real problem.

Great park with lots to do. The campground are good sized and have good separation.
But, the trails are terribly marked. Very poor signage that makes no sense at all. I met lots of folks on the trail who had no clue where they are and where they should head.

Really nice park. Unfortunately there isn't much enforcement on loud screaming children and families who don't have respect for other campers. I'd come back, but would make sure the park is high in vacancy.
