A beautiful park. The winter setting is spectacular..I went to skate the trail..and it was so rough I found it not such a great experience. The scenery was lovely but I wish that I had been warned before going in that the ice had not been flooded for days. I just thought that it would be scraped and flooded each day before opening. A little disappointed because I had so looked forward to the experience..

Really great campground. Large sites with good privacy and nicely kept. One of the comfort stations was run down, but there was another one nearby that was pretty new, nice and clean. Did the hike to Stubbs Falls which was nice loop ending up back at the beach (which is also nice)

Absolutely amazing camp ground. This place has the best Northern beach area I've ever been to. No weeds, no rocks gorgeous beach, clean water so enjoyable. Down side is the signage isn't the best for navigation while inside the park. Some of the washroom facilities are not the best but an amazing park.

Great scenery, private enough spaces and easy access. Our site was at the end of road 9; unfortunately, at times you could hear traffic from the highway. Otherwise I loved it. The trails are very nice and well maintained.

This place has very good private campsites! I ve been camping to many other places and this has the most private campsites (for me, private means we can t see any of our neighbours at all).
Canoeing was great, especially through the little river they have.
Stubbs falls trail was fun, but short.
The dog beaches and dog exercise area were GREAT for our little 9lb dog!
The one downside is that there is only one comfort station for a TON of campsites.
Also take note: there are very brave chipmunks that will come very close to you. They ll try to chew their way through anything (example: the chewed part of a cover for a big plastic container).

Everything you want in a park. Snowshoing, skating ring, Tubing, Skiing, Hiking. I gave 4 stars because they do not offer/sell food and I am hungry ;))
There is a microwave to heat your food. Perfect place for kids.

My experience at Arrow head was great. Lots of fun the staff is very helpful. There's always a clean bathroom near by. Overall, It was a great place to go camping. Definitely recommend it to a friend.

This was one of my favorite parks I've visited in Ontario. Plenty of trails for hiking and some for biking. They have canoe and other water accessories for rental, clean facilities and amazing private camp sites. My only complain is some sites are very sandy making your feet very dirty if you are tent camping. Otherwise everything is perfect. Beach is narrow so not very good for sports but lake is very warm since it's not massive, even by late June.

Came to Arrowhead with a couple friends that told us about the skate trails here. Honestly the best skate trail I ve been to by far and definitely worth the drive. There are also two waterfalls in the park that we didn t have the time to see but will make sure to check out next time. We noticed some people with snow shoes and others cross country skiing, so there s lots of activities to do at this park during the winter.

Overall, the park is really pretty (winter wonderland vibes) and bonus: there s cute little chipmunks all over the park!!

One of the best places to cross-country ski in Ontario. Beautiful trails, well maintained. They have a new large chalet, ski and skate rentals. Their skating trail is also quite popular.

Done!

We went for Ice Skating here on Saturday and here is my experience:
Pros:
The rental equipment is really good, top of the line skating shoes etc
The ice skating trail has a really good profile, and it feels very majestic, contrary to popular belief, we went on a saturday and it wasn't very busy

Cons:
One big negative, the rink was in a very bad shape, if you are not good at skating then you shouldn't go since i don't think they only clean it once a day, the trail has cracks and snow all over it.

Been here numerous times with my extended family and usually didn t have any issues, came here with friends on our late 20 s early 30 s and we were constantly getting harassed by their evening sheriff who criticized our camp site for having too many things and told us we weren t allowed to play bocce ball in an open field, far from campsites, because it was 24 hour quiet... which makes sense because bocce ball is the loudest game someone can play... we are a respectful group of people but felt highly targeted by only one member of staff because of our age. The daytime sheriff had no issues with us and was very friendly. I would not return here with friends.

Have been to many provincial parks in Ontario, this is one of the best! Very close to ON 11, wonderful park. Easy hikes with option of parking close to attractions if one doesnt want to hike.
Washrooms at regular intervals, clean flush toilets
We did 1) Stubbs Falls - parking available couple mins away from falls view point or else can choose between 2 trail options 45mins -- easy or moderate with car parked further away.
2) Arrowhead lake - Walk by this lake was serene and pretty with fall colours seen in full blow. Again easy couple mins walk from parking
3) Big Bend Lookout - Couple mins walk from parking, wonderful sight. Good explanation of bend and Oxbow lake. Makes for good pictures
4) Mayflower lake : Pretty fall colours around this lake, close to entrance

This park is well organised. There are several beaches. Tons of campsites and quite a few hikes. In the winter there are several cross country ski trails. There is also a really cool ice skating loop. Stubb's falls trail has a really nice (but popular) waterfall. The big bend lookout is worth the 5 minutes of your time!

Nice sites, nice swimming, nice hiking, nice facilities. Over the hill so you don t get highway noise (it is quiet), yet close to town if you want to explore. This park checks all the boxes! A favourite for frontcountry camping!

Great place. However, this experience was not a good one! We arrived a little late, and after renting skates, the guy immediately said "you have 10 minutes to skate". Why let people pay full rental and then tell them they've got a few minutes to use them? That's classless! And we weren't able to get our money back either.

Great place to spend a family weekend! Lots of beaches and private spaces to camp and explore. The best thing is that you don't have to book way in advance to camp for a night or more, especially upon a last minute plan to night out.

I've camped here 3 times and would come back again. I absolutely love this park - it's large, well-maintained, and I always have a fun time here. Highly recommend to others looking for their next camping adventure.

I will start with the positives. Arrowhead is a beautiful park. The hiking is great and we had a wonderful time canoeing down to to Stubb's Falls. The BIG downside...in all my years of camping at Ontario Parks, I have never encountered comfort stations as disgusting as these. On a long weekend in a park that is completely full at $50 a site, they couldn't even manage to clean the bathrooms adequately. There were feces smeared on toilet seats, vomit and toilet paper all over the floor. It was gross. The bathrooms were only cleaned once a day and often well after the morning rush so people waking up had to make do with the mess from the previous day and night. No thanks won't be returning.

Excellent location and experience. Sites are good size and we'll maintained. Staff are helpful and happy. Showers are closed because of covid but morning swim on the lake was beautiful and refreshing. Water was very warm and large sandy beaches.

Loved our first camping trip to arrowhead in an RV! The staff was helpful and friendly upon check in. We went end of September but other visitors were friendly and respectful of noise. We brought our german shepherd and he really enjoyed all the trails and the dog beach and dog park! We will be back for sure.

This is a beautiful park to visit in the winters. The skating trail is a great experience to skate among the woods. Fairly flat and easy to do for all levels. We did not see much food or drink options to make sure to pack some.

Nice little park, the river bend is a must see when visiting Arrowhead. Hiking trails are good and for the average to moderate hikers. The campsite are good and have good privacy. The washrooms need a little update, the taps would not hold the water running for more than 2 seconds. Overall a nice place.
