I call Arnold at 10 pm. They called back in the am. They came by 1pm diagnosed the problem. Got the blower motor under warranty. Fixed by 4pm. I have used Arnold Service Co. for years and will use no one else.

They come out and replaced our air conditioner I didn t get to meet the techs but Chris was helpful and amazingly pleasant and willing to do whatever he could to make this very stressful time much easier on us!!!

The good:

The good:
Prompt communication. Tech came out within 3 days and he was able to fix my unit same day. The Diagnostic fee was $81 which is about normal for any repairman.

The bad:
Tech charged me $142 for a blower relay he had in the truck. After he left, I looked it up. The same part cost roughly $10-$30 on multiple different websites. Total charge was $223.

I was referred to the company by someone who knew the owners very well which left me with high expectations. Such a high mark up was surprising.

Service tech had the nerve to call me a liar to my face. I ve had AC problems all summer and on a whim my landlord sent out a new company tonight to look at it. Just like all the other visits he couldn t find anything wrong and wanted to look at my air filters. I told him it wasn t the filters because I changed them 2 weeks ago. He tried to tell me it was the dirtiest air filters he d ever seen and that was my problem. He didn t even get up high and look to check air flow. He saw some dust on the metal outside the vent and said it was clogged. It wasn t , not even remotely clogged. I told him the problem isn t my filters and he kept telling me he didn t believe I changed them 2 weeks ago. He kept laughing at me and saying I was lying. I told him to get out of my house. As he left he said if I take the filters out my house would cool off in an hour. It s been 4 hours and my house is Actually hotter, and I changed the filters once again just to humor the man.

Our heat went out Friday night and we called Arnold Service Company at 9 am Monday morning, they had a tech here shortly after 10 am. John worked on my unit for more than 2 hours and got everything working properly without replacing ANY parts. He shared everything that he checked, what the problem was, how he fixed it, and then he made sure everything was working properly before he left. He was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and so very polite. Kudos to John for working so hard and not taking advantage of a situation that many others surely could have and probably would have. And big shout out to the McGowan's for running such a top notch business and providing such amazing customer service.

Arnold's Service company is great. We paid for them to install our new HVAC in 2014 and have paid for their yearly maintenance ever since. They have helped me with any warranty questions and issues with the HVAC and are always responsive and professional. Their tech's are always friendly and open to my wife and I asking questions. We are selling our house now and recommending to the buyers they continue maintaining the HVAC with Arnold's Service Company.

Awesome! We needed work done on a cold weekend and not only was the response time quick but the technician, Steve, provided excellent customer service. Price was fair and my mother made the comment that the heat was working better then ever. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

I had multiple estimates and not only was Chris at Arnold Service Co. the best priced, he was the most knowledgeable and courteous. Jake, who installed the unit was absolutely the BEST installer I have ever had. I could not be more pleased with Jake's extra attention and effort to even minor details. I purchased the Trane dual fuel hybrid system and I have been very impressed with it. Thank you Arnold Service Co. for making a process that seemed to be worse than car shopping much more enjoyable and for providing EXCELLENT customer service before, during and after the sale.

After my old Trane decided 30 years was long enough, it let me know it was hot weather outside the hard way! Thankfully I was directed to Arnold Service Co. Chris made it easy to set up a new system for my home. The installers, Jake and Kyle, were soo nice and friendly...thanks for the laughs, guys! Glad to have a reliable company to show up and do my semi annual inspections to keep my equipment running properly. They ad Freon when necessary. The last time they were here was for a duct work repair. They have been great to me!

Arnold's put in an $11k Trane A/C with all the bel...

Arnold's put in an $11k Trane A/C with all the bells and whistles because of an insurance settlement. Worst decision ever on our part.
Nothing but trouble with a unit that was supposed to end all trouble according their sales rep.
Our unit has fried the thermostat, and some other board that apparently never happens and each repair/visit took several days out of our schedule, as if that's what we have the most of in our life is time to spare.
After the hurricane we've had serious issues which is understandable. But what is not is the approach to rectifying those issues. First we called and it took the better part of two days to get to us. Understandable. Then the tech comes out and says he is not sure what is altogether wrong and will come back in 3 days. I called a buddy who figured it out and corrected the issue in 1.5 days but cost me $500 out of pocket so my family could get back to some sort of normalcy following the hurricane. Then when the heat kicked on for the first time the system fried our super duper air filter system and several other electronics and the compressor. Not all of which is covered by the warranty apparently because the root of the problem may have been the hurricane. So no more super duper air filter. Then the tech again can't be coordinated for several days because my wife and I can't return their calls immediately so they dispatch him elsewhere instead of committing to a repair time they want to call in the morning. Well Christ all mighty if my wife can't take a call while teaching nor I as a contractor at 8-8:15 in the morning and we can't return the cal until 0900.
Then I take a chewing out by the office staff that it is our fault. Not theirs because they are sooo busy. Well how about us? And oh by the way we void any Trane warranties if we don't go with a certified Trane company.
This is a nightmare.
Plain and simple
Oh by the way, Scotts AC can get to us same day and let's us know exactly when they will be coming so we can modify our schedules ahead of time.

AC went out on a Friday and didn't have much hope in getting someone out to look at it. I called Arnold Service and James came out late afternoon and found the blower motor burnt out. The motor was ordered on Monday and installed by John Tuesday morning. Great Techs and great service. Highly recommend Arnold Service Co.
