Location:

Location:
The location of the resort was easy to to find as it was immediately off of the interstate (West Side). It was near Arizona Mills and Fry's Electronic Store. For some reason though we had trouble locating the check-in lobby when we got there and had to turn around.

Check-in:
Check in was mediocre with an explanation of things on site. They end up giving you a little card packet with your mini-bar key, room keys and WiFi Password

Room:
Room was really just...okay. I felt that for the amount of money that we paid ($250+taxes+resort fee) that we would have had a little better room. We even upgraded $20/night to be closer to the water park. The beds was not very comfortable compared to other hotels well below this price range and forget sleeping on the sleeper sofa. If you like to feel the springs poking on your back, then I guess that is the place for you. I had to use the sofa cushions as extra cushions for my kids so it would not poke them. Also, DO NOT eat anything from the MINI-BAR...that is unless you want to pay $4.50 for a $0.50 pack of M&M's. I made sure to keep this key away from my kids.

POOL:
Again, I was not completely impressed with the pool considering the high price of the resort. They had a wave pool, a lazy river and some slides. My kids would have been happy with just the pool section as they were not even big enough for the slides.

RESTAURANTS:
We had the "Stay and Play Package" which gave us $50 credit towards two restaurants on site that also allowed us to have kids Eat Free under 12. We ate at both restaurants called Lobby Bar and Grill and Aunt Chilada's. If you find my review on Yelp of Aunt Chiladas, you'd find out that I would rather go to a Taco Bell again rather than this place. It was really bad and I'm not even sure how they can call most of their food "Mexican Food". Lobby bar and grill was delicious though and if I were to do it again, I would have eaten there each day to use that $50 credit. Also, eating in the pool area is extremely expensive..and if you want an alcoholic drink be prepared to pay up. It's $11.25 for most mixed drinks that are not even that strong.

Price:
I felt that they had a lot of charges on top of charges, There was the base price, the room tax, room fees, resort tax, etc. The Resort Fee was $47/night!!!!!! Yeah, that was the highest resort fee I've ever paid. Just for comparison, both the Bellagio and the Wynn in Las Vegas have a resort fee of $32/night.

Overall:
I would probably never stay at this resort again unfortunately. It was just too high priced for what was given. For two nights with the stay and play package it was around $550. I'll just go to a water park next time close by.

Room had bugs in it. Had to get moved to a new room at 1 am. Next room they put us in the patio balcony was covered in bird poop. So could not sit there. Check in is 4 they charge a 50 resort fee and then close the water park, slides and lazy river between 6 or 8 PM. Then check out is at 11 am and the water park opens at 10:30
So you pay a 50 resort fee for 4.5 of use
They say you can use the water park after check out. But you have no where to change just get in the car wet and leave?
I was so disappointed in the whole experience. Would not recommend to anyone!!

The rooms were nice, but the prices out in the water area were outrageous!
$9 for a beer and $15 a mix drink. It's really ridiculous to spend a day there. They need to be a lot more reasonable. I would have easily given 5 stars if they were priced at $6 a beer

I was excited to stay at this resort but was quickly disappointed. I found a bottle cap on the floor which means the floor wasn't cleaned well. Then the toilet was very dirty. The killer was the comforter had spots of blood on it. The wall had some splats of who knows what sticking off of it next to the bed. I was so grossed out...

Horrible!! Customer service was atrocious. Room wasn't ready until an hour + after the posted check in time. They requested us to do a partial check in giving them ID and payment in full which we did, Only to come back at 12:30am after our event was over to have the lobby check in clerk be extremely rude and insulting to us. When we finally were brought to a room they wanted to offer us to stay in, it was very dirty with a musty old cabin odor. NO Thanks!!! Was really expecting more from this establishment. Very Disappointed :( Cant Say i will ever go back....

Beautiful and well kept hotel. Staff were all super friendly. The spa staff were excellent and massage services were wonderful. The pool area is great fun for the whole family. The water slides and lazy river is what made us book here and they were lots of fun.

This is a luxurious, full service hotel that has immaculately maintained grounds and a large beautiful golf course. There are wonderful large fountains throughout and brilliant green lawns, which is a striking contrast to the desert around it. We stayed in a two queen suite, which actually had two rooms. the first room had a pull out couch bed, a television, and a small mini bar. The other room had two queen beds and the bathroom attached. Everything looked well-maintained, clean and fairly new. My entire family found the accommodations very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. There is also a water park which unfortunately was closed while we were there, but there were also a couple different pools that are easily accessible to us. The pools are heated so it was nice and warm even though it was on the cooler side when we were there. Apparently, the water park is closed from November through February so be aware. We also found the grounds to be very enjoyable to stroll around and overall we had a very relaxing experience.

This place is beautiful and just so serene. We love going on walks when we're there. There is so many little hidden jems throughout the property. The kids love climbing the stairs to the roof tops to look at all the amazing views. Oasis Water Park is always a grand time as well. Love this place!

Great place! The hotel manager Luza was ; exceptional service. A few things that would make it better; although we LOVED our Villa:
-better WiFi service around the resort
- healthier food options and lower cost at the pool (veggies and dip; garden salads)
-kids menu at pool and resort restaurant
- better service at the bar and restaurant
-$50.00 resort fee? The rooms already cost a lot
- Discounts at Mexican and Steak house for hotel guests
Everything else was PERFECT! 4.5

Beautiful resort with many amenities and beautiful rooms, but under staffed. While the spa technicians were excellent the spa desk attendants were young and not well trained. I asked 3 times if I could order the "light lunch" that was included with the spa package I had purchased and they seemed clueless what I was talking about. When I went to the lobby bar to get a glass of wine I sat for 30 minutes without even seeing a waiter come by then went into the bar area and sat for another 20 minutes without seeing a single waiter. I finally went to the bar myself to order and was never approached again while I sat at my seat. While the amenities are top notch there is a very low attention to high level service that you usually see at a resort of this level.

Rooms are very nice, and very clean. However, it's is way over priced, and they nickel and dime every cent from you. $8 domestic beers at the bar, exorbitant convenience fees, service charges, resort fees even if you're not using it... On and on. Employees were nice.

From the beautiful Venue for the Ceremony(Paseo) to the Sophisticated saloon style look of the Las Pallamas. Reception Venue Definitely worth a Tour.

Getting ready to pull into the resort, you might think that you have been mislead, but as soon as you pull on to the property you are met with lush vegetation and bubbling water throughout. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pools and Oasis water park are nice.

Where it loses a star for me is that on the property you are nickel and dimed for everything and the cost for food on site is overpriced. Also, for a resort with so many pool areas, the towels were thin and small and there was not much water readily available, especially at Oasis water park.

Compared to other resorts like the Fairmont Princess and Royal Palms, the Arizona Grand feels more corporate, but overall is still a beautiful resort.

So, there was a manager by the name of Stephanie who made sure our suite was everything we needed it to be for our Girl Scouts Troop! There was also a Valet named Anthony that was so extremely nice and accommodating. I'll be visiting here again soon. Best staycation spot.

I didn't stay here but attended a conference. So my review is only related to attending a conference. This place has a very good layout and decent size rooms. The staff keep the coffee supplied at all time...a must.

Wonderful time with the kids. Room is plenty spacious, clean and well appointed. The beds are comfy.
The Oasis waterpark is fantastic, we happened to go on an "off" weekend because it was the weekend after Labor Day, so there was no wait for the slides, the pools and lazy river was hardly filled.
The staff was very attentive and answered questions promptly and with courtesy.
Didn't eat there, the food prices at The Oasis told us that we could get more value off-site.

I stayed at the resort for almost 3 months related to a business project in the area. Super easy freeway access. Staff was great. Despite Covid complications they were always willing to accommodate my needs and requests. Nice to have a golf course on premises that you can walk to you. Can t wait to return for some relaxation.

Attended a large conference for CNH Ag. The event it's self was great and very informative. The resort though is just ok. Probably in its prime which from the looks and rooms were 15-20 years ago it would have been amazing. Now it looks a little run down

The good thing is the stuff and hotel are neat and clean. Very friendly and helpful. Bellmen are will to give you a ride to a gas station store to buy drinks, unaffordable items at on site restaurants and mini fridge in room.

All in all alright place but not super fancy and a little pricey for what it is!

Very nice place. We were just upset that we were told over the phone that for 2 nights it would be a total of 139$. When we arrived they told us it would 139$ a night. We were excited to go to the water park (tickets are included in your stay) but it rained and we asked for a rain pass. They told us no. Which was pretty aggravating and wouldn't let us speak to a manager after asking twice.

The property is lovely and in great condition. The room was well appointed and the bathroom supplies of excellent quality. I did visit the spa and fitness center but found it lacking in areas such as a relaxation area included in most spa environments. I had been hoping for a place to sit and meditate. I didn't get the chance to enjoy much of the space but the overall experience was lovely.

Every ice machine on the 3rd floor in the Sedona building did not work. There was party going on in the Sedona pool area that was inappropriate for kids. People drinking and smoking weed in not my idea of family fun. My kids had to leave the pool area. I went to the bar which is seriously over priced, the sign says $9.25 for a draft beer (doesn t specify domestic or import) and I over charged for every beer. The first time I paid 9.25 then every beer after was 10 dollars and I was charged $10.05 once. Which one is it??? I come here every year for my birthday to enjoy the water park but this year I was very unhappy

Spa was very unhelpful and mediocre. Beds were uncomfortable. The pool was closed for an event with no notice. The on site restraunts we're not only discusting but way over priced. I'll give it the fitness center was very nice and had a free weight room so I wouldn't have to miss any time in the gym. Overall disappointed.

We loved Oasis waterpark for the one hour it was open after 4 pm checkin and for the 30 min it opened prior to check-out at 11 am. Very discouraging for the family and should have been disclosed. The Fairmont Princess owns their own slides. Better deal!
