The tea is delicious, especially the peach tea. It is a little pricey but it is a good place to meet up. The atmosphere is good for getting work done, especially at the locations with multiple floors.

I have to say the staff here has always been very polite and helpful. I tried the Purple Hibiscus drink recently, it tasted really good but it's not purple! It looks like a light brown. I was sort of disappointed because the drink doesn't look like the picture that was advertised! That's why I'm deleting 2 stars because I was just that disappointed, it just didn't look like a purple drink. Otherwise, I definitely would have given this Argo cafe 5.

The staff here is rude and lazy at best. I came to do homework and spent $15 here. After an hour I got asked to move because the area was reserved for an event. But the area was never labeled as such! The girl have me extreme attitude and was rude as hell. If this was my associate she would be hired. #worstcustomerservice

This spot is just gorgeous. I mean wow.

This spot is just gorgeous. I mean wow.
Definitely worthy of a stop on lunch during that tough collaboration retail week.
Adidas doing another collab with Gosha or something? Lines down the street for it and poor you working registers huh?
Stop by get some relaxing tea and watch the greenery grow in this garden house glass structure.
Though the spot is on an island between rush and state, you feel anything but alone here. The plants embrace you and the fermented green tea leaves and antibiotics ginger in my favorite, the Green Tea Ginger Twist will lift you up. Making you feel elevated, transcending you into oneness with your environment and surroundings filing you with a sense of Argo "tranquilitea".
This place gives you a serene connection with nature hard to find in the concrete jungle that is downtown let alone the heart of the Gold Coast.
Like for real though, I used to work at Abercrombie and Top Shop. Forget Starbucks, sipping a warm ginger twist or rooibos red under the light filled trees was my morning mindful activity or my winter afternoon wind down after the Black Friday rush. That's why I'm still a regular today.

Hope you all get as much peace from this gem as I typically do.

I'm very disappointed with the employees at this location. I spent enough money on Argo tea already, I actually live just across the street from the one in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Today I walked in at the location on Rush St and kindly asked to use their restroom since the place I was having breakfast (next door- Bagels) their toilet broke. I was, very rudely, told "No!- you have to buy something first". Where is your decency to help someone in need? Without asking for money first. What kind of customer service are you providing to a loyal customer? A customer who buys here at least once a week? I am extremely disappointed. Will think twice before stopping in ever again, at any Argo Tea.

I think this place is great. The atmosphere is really welcoming and relaxed. They have plenty of tables and chairs, there is no sense of being rushed, nor was I bombarded with annoying music. The service was excellent as well. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and patient. I really liked the selection of teas that they have for sale. As for the drinks that you can buy there, the taste was wonderful, BUT they put too much ice! Barely any drink in that cup. So I suggest that you ask them for only a little bit of ice if you decide to go there.

As a visitor to Chicago, I had only tried their bottled tea for the first time a week before from another retailer, so I decided to drop in since I did not know they had actual physical stores and that they were Chicago-based. This was a great idea. The staff here is amazing and willing to help and explain and provide the best service for the best experience. They offer tons of teas and even coffee and other items. The indoor space is very inviting and quite large. Be sure to ask if there are any special promotions going on too. This is a great cafe to unwind at.

Argo Tea has a great selection of teas from all over the world. The baristas are very freindly and they know how to make a mean cup of tea. They are very well trained and knowledgable and helpful.

Awesome place to study if you don't mind the noise. I bring headphones to help study better.
There are outlets to use, and also wifi!

Avocado toast:
Bra-vo (my fave, has bacon!)
The kimchi one is interesting but still yummy! Can really only taste the kimchi.

Drinks:
Birthday cake latte is delicious
Matcha latte is a little too milky
Their ice teas are decent

I love coming to Argo Tea to get some work done using the free wi-fi. The windows are great for looking outside as a way to distract from zoning out on a laptop or a book. Awesome teas and drink selections and the service is awesome as well, they know a lot about their drinks and teas. The customers are a mix of students, people stopping by to chat and some business people will meet here as well. It can get busy and loud at times, but its a great spot for such a busy Chicago location.

I live in the Philadelphia area of New Jersey and have only had the pleasure of experiencing Argo tea via there bottled ice teas sold in a few local stores. I just have to say I'm hooked. I must complain though. I live 5 minutes from Philadelphia one of the most well known cities on the East coast and possibly America. Yet Argo tea has no locations there. WhY? I get Chicago you originated there. Boston ok that's a no brainer NYC well it's NYC but you'd think the next viable option would be Philly. it's the next major city south on the East coast and has a big vegan and health following so I can't imagine them not doing well here. to my dismay there is none and I am left only to experience the limited iced tea options I can find. sure I can order from there website but I want to try the many flovaors of lose tea they offer and we'll buying them online to try them all well that's not feasible. So Argo if your following this were ready for you here. there isn't a single person that has seen me with your signature glass bottles who hasn't questioned me about the Brand and concurred in my opinion that it's the best Tea they have ever had after I offered them a taste. So get on it Argo I believe Philly should have come before Kuwait and other area of the middle east but that's just one man's opinion. Hopefully my long winded review here reaches someone who can make something happen as I wish to have many more than I can reach turned into and become loyal Argo Tea customers as I have.

thank you

The service is very poor. The sandwiches are cold, not well roasted. I ordered hot tea, instead I got medium hot tea. We usually come here, but today the service was very poor. I asked cappuccino with soy milk, but it was very strong and not enough milk. I won t come back here anymore.

The Starbucks of Tea! Amazing place. They have free samples all the time and the baristas are always willing to help you try some teas that are not on the sample area. This specific location also has a garden feel, a nice place to hang out and get some work done.

I've been going to bookstores, starbucks, and ANYWHERE LOCAL I can study for several hours (without being bothered). Loud talking, kids crying, etc are always a pain.. but this place is really good. Sure, the occassional tourist with the family would come in and chit-chat for a while, but usually the "regular" people are students doing their thing. The tea selections are great and the staff are always friendly!
