It was remarkably cool inside. There were some problems with the plumbing, which is to be expected with such an old building. The staff were extremely helpful and right on top of it though. Thank you to them and I look forward to more conventions there in the future.

We were invited, during the holidays, to get toys for our children, as we are a low-income, transitioning family. This invitation was such a Blessing! Our kids got brand new bikes, helmets, toys, toys, and more toys! It was a Great relief to have been able to experience the "Give Back" of the community, we were Unable to provide gifts for our children, but when we got a call to be invited to the Sleep Train Arena for the Christmas Toy Giveaway, it brought happiness, tears, and joy to me and my husband. We didn't expect the amount of gifts our kids recieved, but we were SUPER HAPPY & BLESSED! Thanks to Everyone who supported and was involved with this Special Holiday Event for the kids!! The CHP was a big part of this and even had an bike riding course set-up in the parking lot to help the kids make sure the bikes worked properly, helmets fit right, and the kids were able to ride the bikes with or without help! It's Was Definitely an Amazing day, oh and not to forget, SANTA was there and we took pictures! THANKS again!

Yes this place is still open. Come here often for my son to attend Basketball Clinics with the Junior Kings. Although the parking lot is not very well maintained anymore the old practice facility is still very nice and very clean. And just like they do at Golden 1 the staff of the junior Kings treat you like royalty when you're there.

We were there for a 3 day convention of Jehovah s Witnesses in August 2019. It was easy to park and exit. The seating sections are well marked and it s easy to navigate around the arena. The arena is old and could use a little TLC but for the most part it was great for what we were there for.

Wow... this place is really run down! Bought seats in section 102, Row AAA. Seat was old and beaten with the armrest nearly detached. Elevation from floor seats ahead of me was minimal, at best, which made for a slightly obstructed view. Unfortunate, because Sacramento has great fans. They deserve better.

First you pay $15 to park!! Then you get frisked and had my "hazardous" beach balls taken away and thrown away. The sound is not great. It might be fun for a sports event, but don't go for a concert!!!

I just wanted to reach out and give my greatest thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at Arco Arena on Wednesday March, 18th 2015. I recently attended our first Kings game with my 6 month old baby and my mother. We originally had won these tickets from KNCI and our seating was in the upper section 206. Not even 10 minutes into the game we thought we had to leave because every time the announcer would talk, my daughter Maddison Grace would start balling her eyes out, as if the noise was too loud.. As we started to leave, the usher stopped us to tell us that we could try guest services to see if they could sit us somewhere else. I normally would never ask for different seating, but i figured i would try out my luck and see if different seating would be better for my daughters ears. The gentleman at guest services was very respectful and gave us different tickets to try. We were given the lower section 123. As we found our seating, i was very astonished and thankful that we had been given such good seating, as i did not expect this at all! We were very happy and my daughter did not cry for the rest of the entire game! Come to find out, she likes better seating too hehe :) Thank you very much to the guest service staff and usher who made our night!! The staff expressed such high level of professionalism and the warmth, attention and devotion for my family needs. Without them, our night would not have been as manageable and comfortable, or (to say the least) as exciting! For we are very happy customers and will definitely be returning in the future. It is far and few between these days to find genuine people (especially those working in a busy/ loud setting with several hundred 'difficult' customers). It is professionals as yourself and facilities like yours that make our everyday family obstacles easier and more enjoyable. Our sincerest thanks and regards!!

Attended Cirque du Soleil's performance of Varekai and absolutely loved the show. However there are several things that need improvement as far as customer service and the facility. I spent $150 for floor seats and basically sat in a lightly padded folding chair. No arm rests or cup holders (the row in front of me had these). The seats were so close together that it was impossible not to touch the person next to you. My friend had to endure a young man who was constantly tapping his foot. I waited in line for a drink and waited and waited. I finally had to leave because the show was about to start.

I have never been to a Cirque du Soleil show where I could not find an usher. We had to search for one to direct us to our seats. I understand that the Sleep Train Arena does not set the price for tickets to the performance but the seating and customer service need to be improved. I will never attend another showing at the Sleep Train Arena. The drive to SF is worth it in order to have better facilities.

Sleep Train is old as hell, it has metal bleachers in the lower level. If you grew up in the bay area then you would remember the bleachers in the out field for the A's, you get that same loud stomp like being in the outfield at the coliseum

The old barn is falling apart. Never great, but the years have taken their toll. The bathrooms are falling apart, narrow walkways, general lack of maintenance.

But, who cares at this point. Only months left at this point.

Loads of great memories anyways. Served it's purpose.

It was a special event for my family as we had two newly graduates from Sacramento State graduating there. I would have given it 5 stars if the Handicap parking was a little closer to the building.

Wow! Shocked by how they have just let this place go... So sad. The signs are calling siren outside, the grass and weeds are overgrown, mats wadded up outside doorways, and leaves and branches down all over the parking lots. No one is caring for it anymore. It was like those pictures you see if abandoned malls, but this place has only been dark less that a year, and they still have the small events there... Sad to see! Hope something for happens for that space soon!
