Go Kings
It is really nice and big. It looks so much bigger on the inside.
I m very sad this place is not being used people only care about their safety but they don t realize this place was once the best place in sactown to go and just watch the Kings go at it fs in the chat for whatever comes next
Nice place for the best Jehovah's Witness convention ever
This place is pretty trashed. The upper seating area is gone. The seats in sections 101 - 104 are broken. Try to avoid them. Aim for sitting the seats that have the stripes/cutout.
May 19, 2018. Part of the crew cleaning this place up for the 2018 Regional Conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses. This place hasn't been used in a couple years. What a mess! You won't recognise it when we get through with it. Still a nice place for events. Just needs some T.L.C.
We were so appreciated that we had a place to have our annual convention. I must say that the facilities had it good days but we all still had an most enjoyable weekend. The Arena staff were very accommodating to those who was in charge of the setup. Thank you so much. At first being that it was so hot outside that it would be uncomfortable inside but to my surprise it was very nice. Just the right temperature for me. I wouldn't mind if they announce that for next year it will be at the Sleep Train Arena!! . Yes, it is true we received confirmation that our annual conventions for 2020 will be at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento. Everyone is so pleased, so if anyone is interested in joining us, don't hesitate cause everyone and anyone are more than welcome to hear Bible base discourse and a lot more.
I've been here for one or two Kings games and dozens of graduations. I also attended one of the last, if not the last, graduation to be held at this arena. It's not the most accessible arena as you have to drive to the middle of nowhere to get there, but that also made the trips somewhat memorable like an exotic excursion. I'll miss this place, but Golden 1 looks pretty nice.
Almost ready for repurposing since the Golden1 Center opened
Place is run down like Cow Palace. Seating arrangement nice and comfortable, caution tape everywhere.
We had a convention over there! The seating was a much older style some were uncomfortable, which definitely needs a remodel! The inside was clean and restrooms were nice for an arena! But the outside needs some TLC.... some roundup and more water for grassed areas!!! But in all it's still nice!!!!
Graduation for sacramento state, crazy parking arrangement and over crowded
Awesome we got great seats to see the Who I would not pay for floor seating unless you want to stand the whole time
It is clean but seats are hard program was fantastic.
While being the "old areana" in Sacto I still like the style of steep verticle indoor areana. Always has plenty of parking in a non-congested location just off the freeway barely 5 minutes from downtown. The new areana may be nice but access and parking their has to compete with all the other downtown activity making that a pain unless you are staying at a hotel within walking distance. Perdonally, I think the SleepTrain location/facility made more sense and if they really wanted a new areana they should have built it on the same property as a replacement.
It's nice and cool in here but all the grass is dead and weeds are growing from the cracks.
I came for the JW Convention. It is an older building, but is accessible for wheelchairs. The seats seem to be narrow. The good thing is they have section numbers to identify where you sit. There are box seats in the upper area with glass windows to see perfectly on the floor.
Our seats fell down into the floor and my poor husband went tumbling down and the poor kid behind us got his legs smashed between the back of the seat and his seat and no one came and then when they did finally come and didn't do anything about it, didn't offer to move us, didn't fix the problem, didn't offer to replace the popcorn it spilled everywhere, didn't offer to replace the lemonade that spilt, missed the first part of the game dealing with it and they didn't offer us any kind of compensation or apology or anything very poor very very poor customer service. Very dangerous and they didn't fix it they just left it didn't block off the seats are offered to move it very disappointing. And then when we did move they expected us to go to customer service and when I refused they sent some guy to tell us where we had to sit, when we refuse because nobody was sitting in the seats anyway they just left us there which was fine so at least we could enjoy the rest of the game. We moved from seats way down courtside to nosebleed just to feel safe.
Old stadium that has been totally abandoned. Good the AC is still working as it is hot in Sacramento.
Sleep Train Arena is *not* a friendly place for the disabled. While there is handicapped parking, there is never enough. The stadium is old as far as stadiums go. The stairs are very steep. I have requested wheelchair accessible seating, and have ended up in spots that are incredibly unsafe and were obviously not designed for the safety of ticket holders. We were gifted tickets for Disney on Ice. The family member that gave us the tickets made sure to pick accessible and safe seating. We were shown to the nosebleeds and were seated in an incredibly dangerous area. There was no safety railing, meaning that I could easily roll over the edge and be in bad shape. I was not able to sit next to my family. The wheelchair area was just a few numbers on the floor with nowhere for companions to sit that is close. I could not enjoy the show while separated from my family, and strong anxiety about the safety. My family member paid premium prices for those "accessible" seats. I will not be visiting this arena in the future unless there are major changes made to make the arena safe and accessible for all.
It s a tired place, but good for some gatherings. Acoustics are not very good
An okay arena with very loud crowds. Make sure to remember where you park- all the lots look the same.
Need to be new development there I was there for the Jehovah's Witnesses Convention.
Went to a Jehovah's witness convention today who ever owns this place has really let it go the brothers cleaned it up so we could use it wish you could have been there it was full of living mind people who came together to worship their God Jehovah it was so well organized and everyone was so kind and helpful
Had a wonderful time at the conventions of Jehovah Witnesses this weekend "Love Never Fails".
Quick in and out, close handicap parking. Ushers not helpful , fend for yourself with the seating.
We went here to see Aziz Ansari. It is a great stadium. I know it is not the newest stadium in town but it's history and charm hold up. Also, the parking may be better than the new spot in town. Ihope it keeps attracting great entertainers.
I've been here numerous times. Went to a concert, the audio was horrible. I'll never go back here for another concert. Saw Disney on Ice. It was okay, but they block exits for some unknown reason. Because of that, massive foot traffic congestion. It seems like the people running this place just don't care about giving their customers a good experience. Sleep Train Ampitheatre is a much better venue.
Very nice facility for sporting events. Food is better than in most stadium settings- but there are few places to sit or stand to eat. Staff is great, enthusiastic and helpful. Reserve a parking spot online before you go.
Great amphitheater! Friendly staff, easy parking, and yummy food!
Not kept up at all! A.C. wasn't working! Half of everything was caution taped off because it was broken including bathrooms
This place is kind of old, at least that's what it seemed to me. No A/C and bleachers were breaking all over the place. No rails very dangerous to walk down steep stairs made out of metal with no rails. Over all it does not seem like the maintenance is being taken care of in this arena at least that was my impression when I was there.
Okay last year it was horrible this year our convention had better seats I hope the are did but knowing Jehovah s Witnesses we did but it s nice thank you sleep train for having us we love you
Absolutely perfect for vig events, i have no idea why they would want to tear this place down, and if they do end up doing it, i really hope they biuld a more sturdy, longer lasting, and identicle one to this
I loved the convention, got to see old friends, and it was peaceable
Sorry to see you go, Sleep Train! Kings are much better off downtown.
Far better than the Maloof era, still not a great area though.
Came here for a convention. It was free and the plave was kept clean.
It's always a good time watching a Kings game here, especially when they win! I used to split season tickets and I've seen quite a few games here over the years. This is the last year the Kings will play here as next year they will be moving into the new Golden 1 Center downtown.
Lower level Red seating has legroom and is fairly comfortable. Blue seating has barely any legroom and is not good for long programs.
Putting a big show in there in a couple of days, and it is not a production friendly arena, especially for a 16 semi tour... I will let you know if I revise my opinion...
We are having our convention here for Jehovah's Witnesses
We used shows some in the restrooms. Lot of parking. Landscape needs tending to. Road way rough. Still a good place for large event's.
Cool in side no sticky floors.
Nice facility with tons of parking and easy access.
Great place to park all day for the Aftershock shuttles October 11-13, 2019
We only parked here to catch a shuttle to Discovery Park for the Aftershock Festival!
Disney on Ice was so magical here! Now we see it at Golden 1 but my favorite times were going to Sleep Train Arena and having those Mom moments looking at my kids smile and laugh!!!
Been there twice and like the atmosphere every time.
Did concert Security in this place from opening day the closing day good times good memories
The assembly was a horrible place to go see event. The seats were hard wooden very small smaller than airplane seats. There's no room to move your legs or your body. Very close net seats next to another person! Was very hot seating area, the stairs are steep. The stage was very hard to see especially if you sit on the side, you would have to continue turning your head one way. The cars parking lot had more room than a human being trying to sit in the seats to see any event. I do not recommend going there for any type of concert or event.
