The location is just okay but the shows here are usually great.
Parking is spacious. Plus the people were really nice. Rockin Roadshow yeah
My son had a blast at the New Year's Basketball Clinic held at Sleep Train Arena. It was run by the Junior King's. The coaches are amazing with the kids. The even had Assistant Coach Gates there to coach the kids for a day. It's are great program for all levels. My son went not knowing the basics and by day three was sinking baskets and dribbling with easy. I recommend this program 100%.
The seats were uncomfortable and had no leg room. And so packed together I felt claustrophobic and like I was suffocating
Seeing all the friends there was wonderful...thank you our heavenly father for having such an organized arrangement...
This is the arena of my childhood, sad to see out go, but excited to see the next incarnation in downtown Sacramento!
The environment was so good and the game was awesome.
Want to like seeing shows here, but its always just a bit off. This last time it was the sound. It was all over the place.
Experienced a three-day convention. Everything was well-sorted and orderly. Very nice time.
Jehovah's witness convention place was clean people were friendly
A really great place, I have so much memories in there. I am really sad that Golden 1 center was more popular
The facility is run down and moth balled the parking lot was over grown and entire sections of chairs are gone. But I was there for a convention of JW so that's what made it cool. We cleaned it top to bottom and cleaned up the parking lot gratis.
Plenty of parking close to venue, a little warm, good sound, hard seats, no handrails.
Excellent event. Love never fails Jehovah's Witness convention. Refreshing, uplifting, all good.
Seats are hard, roof has a leak. Outside needs landscaping badly.
Wow really clean place last fryday ,saturday and sunday. ..7-27 to 29 ...2018....
Good place for meeting. Jehovah's witnesses are having very informative bible study Friday thru Sunday the next 3 weekends.
This place is full of memory's for me! There is not a bad sea in the place!
Had my yearly 3 day convention in it and it was good. The place is deserted I think so we had intensive cleaning done to it beforehand to get it ready. No games nor concerts are played there anymore.
This was my favorite place to watch the kings but if you want to see real basketball watch the warriors fam kys
Unquestionably the worst professional sports venue in the entire nation. This place is disgusting, old and there are literally chunks of cement falling off all over the place. The city really can't tear this place down fast enough
This was the worst arina I have ever been to!! I was with an elderly person and I would not recommend anyone who is not in good shape to take a chance on this place. The lady I was with took a nasty fall . I for one will never return this place it was miserable.
Attended Convention here with JW"s. They always make sure the inside of building is kept clean and there are plenty of attendants ready and waitng to assist with seating, help for elderly & handicapped, directions, any needs as well as providing security and first aid. All help is done by JW"s who volunteer themselves before, during and after the convention to make sure facility is clean and restrooms are well stocked with necessary supplies. Program provided is top notch, excellent use of videos, etc. as always, no collections are ever taken, admission is free and you will not be obligated to buy anything!
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is not due to JW"s. It is because the owners of the Arena have let the parking lot deteriorate so much that it is full of cracks an pot holes, and lanscaping has been let go as well, lots of weeds dry bushes and grasses...so sad!
Saw the Kings but they lost! Still a cool stadium but could use a good update in a few more years.
GO KINGS arena older but not a bad seat in the house maloofs suck GO KINGS
My family saw the circus perform her this year. It was amazing!
I don't know why they aren't going to keep using it. In it's 'heyday' it seemed a good venue. No complaints except it's not kept up.
Great place for all variety of entertainment. Lots of parking spaces.
Pretty old and ratty arena; thankfully a new one is on the way. Go Kings!
Thanks to Sacramento for letting us have our convention.there
Jehovah's witness.
Ugh too bad it's soooo run down . Unfortunately this is where we assemble.
Though it hasn't been used in a while it was very clean, hope they can figure out the air conditioner.
Nice air conditioning, building kind of tired needs good cleaning
R.I.P. Sleep Train. Too bad they didn't want to renovate you.
You had to see the pavilion one game day, I did it in August and everything was empty and soulless ... as are the Sacramento Kings themselves, actually;)
Great acoustics and overall venue.
However the show selection over the years has declined greatly.
Seats are very hard so you need to bring your own padding. Air conditioning was great, sound systems excellent. Bathroom decent.
Went to my son's graduation here for Sacramento State. Very pleasant experience. Environmentally very comfortable. Plenty of parking
Better than the Cow Palace and the Santa Clara Convention center.
I've had a lot of history at this place. Great for conventions
Had a religious conversation there the seats a really alot better than downtown conversation center.
It does what it says it does. Don't expect good food, and the beer prices are insane. However, as a venue for watching things, its more than adequate.
Love the all the events I've attended here. Place needs a face-lift and it needs land scaping. Some TLC can make this place thrive again.
Went to the Sleep Train Arena to attend the Joyce Meyers Convention. It was my first time to listen to Joyce and I must say that I really enjoyed her speaking. She made it easy to understand and follow her. A very positive experience.
Oh my... What a dump. All the landscaping is dead, half of the bathrooms and facilities in the bathrooms are out of order. I can't believe they can even still rent this place out.
A little run down but adequate for the way we are using it, for the Regional convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. At least the women's bathrooms are large enough to accommodate the crowd. The main reason we are here is for the Bible based talks, videos and most of all, the friends.
Had a good experience at the Kings vs Lakers game. The cashier was actually very pleasant.
This place is great for all kinds of events. Parking for a sizable army as long as you being your $10. The concessions are also wuite pricey.
I went to an assembly gathering of Jehovah's witnesses. It was incredible.
Kings are leaving to their new arena, it's still a pretty nice venue.
HUGE! I went to my sister's graduation from Sacramento State, it was held here. There is tons of parking but make sure you arrive early because the traffic to get inside the parking lot is crazy. The actual arena inside was nice. It was clean, and indoors. The signage was good. It was a really nice experience.
The event we were at was awsome and the arena was clean and comfortable.
I was here for my little girls they had an all girls basketball clinic in the Kings old practice gym while us parents watched behind a two way mirror my girls loved it!
