I've recently just dropped out of being an arch apprentice on there L4 network engineer course. I signed up with Arch March 2017 but didn't have any contact until May 2017. I then had to travel to Manchester to their Office for an Induction, which was a waste of time in my opinion. They were just talking about how great Arch was and boasting about their ofsted report, which i don't think they deserve. After May i didn't have any contact with anyone until the beginning of August, they communicated with me through email explaining my LCD coach was taking time off for medical reasons. near to the end i receive an email from arch with a new LCD coach, we then spoke on the phone and near to the end of the call he told me he was leaving after that day. So again i am without a LCD coach. the months go by with no contact from then. around November i get another LCD coach who doesn't seem to know what he was doing, he promised me documents and access to u certify and this wasn't given until December, which meant i was very far behind at this point. He then leaves and i have no LCD coach. up until around March 2018, she sort of knew what she was doing (kind of) i then started to do all the work required but couldn't finished on the date they promised because of this. They pushed my end date further away which obviously isn't accept. My lcd coach was very rude towards me in most meetings i had with her, she blamed my progress in the course on me, not on Arch or herself. any complaints i had, she didn't inform anyone of them.

my Honest opinion do not go with Arch because on paper they may look good but they have definitely been a waste of my time.

I did the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship and I didn t really learn much to be honest, I found it quite easy as most things I had already covered in Business GCSE and A-Level. We didn t even spend very long on PPC, SEO or Adwords which is kinda the crux of digital marketing I don t feel equipped at all to work doing those however it s helped me further my interest in other types of marketing such as social and content. I m still awaiting my certificate after completing my apprenticeship in September 2017 it s now January 2018 and it was supposed to take 6-8 weeks to arrive. I ve contacted people at Arch multiple times and they said they ll get me one sent asap and don t know what s happened but I still haven t got it so I ve (still!) got nothing official to show for all my hard work.

Contacted Arch in December 2015 and I had secured a placement by January 2016. With incredible opportunities, and support while looking for a placement and during your apprenticeship. I would highly recommend Arch Apprentices.

Terrible service, was invited for an interview and received some test materials to complete in advance. Was told a day before that there was an additional question to be completed and an hour later told my interview was cancelled as the hiring manager had decided to choose another candidate. For an apprentice training provider, there seems to be a clear lack of HR procedures and policies. Treating potential candidates as pieces of paper is not a good long term strategy. I would avoid working and getting an apprenticeship with an organisation like Arch Apprentices who does not value any potential employees or apprentices

Thank you for the reply and feedback Arch Apprentice but it does not provide compensation for the awful experience I have had in the recruitment process. Extremely poor for an accredited training provider.

I finished my apprenticeship 2019 December and was not given any support to find a role afterwards. I am still looking for work today, applying for training courses and internships.
Despite having performed well in my role and working for a well known company with high prestige.
I had no meetings about next steps or check ups on my progress, not even recommendations for entry level roles to apply for.
Isn t the point of an apprenticeship to get into full time employment straight after? I feel as if I have been failed by this system.

I started my Digital Marketing apprenticeship with Arch as part of the second ever cohort back in 2012. Shortly after starting my course I was placed with a great start-up digital agency and started working with a real-life working digital environment, developing my skills and starting my very own digital marketing career.

Fast forward to 2015, upon completing my one-year apprenticeship course I was taken on as a full time digital marketing executive and continue to develop within a very rewarding role - this is above and beyond what I originally thought would come after the course and I couldn't be more thrilled!

I was able to start my career in an fast-paced, data-driven and fun environment that I love all thanks to Arch Apprentices and the tremendous support they gave me throughout my course.

I highly recommend the apprenticeship with Arch to anyone who is looking to start a digital career. The course is very well delivered and you are given the opportunities to work and become a part of some outstanding companies.

Absolutely terrible. Work is marked incorrectly, you learn virtually nothing and it's all for profit on their end (you actually do work FOR THEM in your coursework?). You'll do work you're not supposed to and they offer no support whatsoever. DO NOT TRUST THEM IT'S ALL A SCAM.

I enrolled on a digital marketing apprenticeship which started with Arch in Manchester last August. The apprenticeship has been a fundamental contribution into learning the basics of the role I'm currently in. The personal tutor I have been assigned with, Enda, has been more than happy to help with any queries, and has taken a firm, but fair learning stance which has really helped my progression on the course. Would highly recommend.

Please read all! Their vacancy advertisement is very deceiving. As an apprentice who studies with them, they will rarely contact you. If you are looking for a higher-level qualification, Arch Manchester only do level 3 and for some courses level 4. Not a degree course...which they will definitely promise they are 'looking into'. Apparently level 4 has been removed by the government but as soon as I mentioned I would be leaving Arch, they had level 4 courses available again. I was told a degree course was very very likely happening next year but surprise surprise, it isnt.

Arch Apprenticeships provide fantastic support in helping young adults take the first steps towards building a career within the digital industry. Through a structured learning programme, they offer learners the opportunity to develop their skills through both practical and theory-based work, which plays a pivotal role in adjusting to and better understanding the workplace.

Each apprentice is assigned to a particular Arch mentor who are crucial in providing the one-on-one tuition and support which culminates in a successful apprenticeship. Learners are also encouraged to collaborate and work with other apprentices on their course, which facilitates improved learning as one can build a network of like-minded up-and-coming digital professionals within different sectors of work.

Having been an Arch Apprentice myself, I have nothing but good things to say about this organisation and would recommend it to anyone looking to become an apprentice within the exciting world of digital!

One of the most demoralising experiences I have had

The interviewer with Arch Apprentices (In my case Leila Reshadi) was incredibly critical and came off generally negative, some of the points made were useful but the initiation of the interview was confusing and context was not established, not to mention the proposition of at least 5 (or 4) questions for the interviewer which was apparently absurd in the eyes of my Talent Match Adviser. Contact with Leila Reshadi was not great either and not a single one of the emails I had sent to Leila were replied to.

The interview felt like a waste of effort and I will be sure to avoid anymore contact with this company, based on what I have experienced.

Don't waste your time, got called in a supposed assessment day. The leader bragged how great Arch was, but never answered questions in detail. You have to chase them up for vacancies & updates apparently they're so overwhelmed with applications they can't respond to all...Yeah right if that was true hire more people

This company wasted my daughter's time. Most of the vacancies they advertise were either no longer available or already at interview stage. Their site is not kept up to date. They are not proactive in their approach to helping you find a quality apprenticeship. I strongly recommend approaching companies directly or using other professional agencies. My daughter did and she is currently thrilled to be in a role that is the perfect fit for her.

Fantastic apprenticeship course, been in the course for about a year and I have no complaints, offers everything I expected and more. Everything spot on - highly recommend to anybody looking to get their career and education in the right direction!

I'm currently an apprentice with Arch and have less than a month to go. If I had to summarise the whole experience into one word- FANTASTIC!

I am a college drop out- not because it was too hard, although it was a very difficult time, but because a college can't offer the sort of experience apprenticeships can. I was really nervous when I applied to Arch! My first interview day was last year and it was a long way to travel all the way from Hornchurch to Hammersmith but that again is a boost in independence.

I started at the age of 17 (Now 18), and what I can say is colleges treat you like children and when you are growing up, that's the last thing you want. With Arch, they treat you like an adult because as you work- you are one! My confidence has grown massively, I'm a lot more independent and even better I'm getting paid for it and earning a qualification!!!

Currently I am working for a film office which is pushing me into the film industry and that is exactly what I was looking to get into and to be totally honest, I thought it was a dream that would never come true!!- Yet here I am!

I can't thank Arch enough for where I am now!

Anyone who is on the fence trying to decide what to do or if you feel you are not doing well at college- DON'T THINK TOO HARD, it will most likely be the best decision you will make for yourself and your career.

I applied for an apprenticeship with Arch in March of this year, by June the same year I had secured a job and begun my L3 Apprenticeship in Digital Business.

During the application process the recruitment team at Arch were extremely helpful, they supported me throughout my interviews, making sure I knew exactly what was going on and supplying me with the knowledge and preparation to succeed in my interviews.

I am given plenty of time to complete my coursework and support is always on hand if I am ever in need of it, through my Apprenticeship Advisor who is always happy to answer my questions.

Since the start of my apprenticeship I feel I have gained many transferable digital skills which I wouldn't have gained from university. I would recommend Arch Apprentices to anyone who is interested in a digital career.

Before signing on with Arch Apprenticeship, I was promised that I would be given the opportunity to take a Microsoft exam worth thousands and that I would be given extra support with my functional skills. I later found out that this was a lie half-way through my apprenticeship. Believing this, I joined Arch Apprenticeships in Sept 2015. Throughout my apprenticeship, two of my Apprentice Mentors were either fired or left. This was unfortunate, as I confided in them with my personal self-esteem issues and depression. Most study weeks and learning tools were fantastically organised by Arch. However, they was no effective support for functional skills at all! We were given no revision materials. On the day of the exam, I was extremely nervous. I revised at home for weeks, only to then be told that it has been cancelled on the day. Yes, exam cancellations happen quite often at Arch. I completed and passed all of my x2 BTEC Level 3 Diplomas, but where are they? Only within the last month of my apprenticeship between August- September 2016, I was told that I didn t pass my functional skills maths. Adam Simcox told me that I had to come in the next day otherwise i do not get another chance - he said this very harsh without being apolegic about Arch not telling me. I took the exam with my 3rd Apprentice Mentor. After the test, I asked my mentor if I passed or not and he said that he would tell me within the next week or so. I emailed him and I didn t receive an email from him ever again. I called Arch numerous times and I was always told that I would get a call back. I finally got a breakthrough in March 2017 and a male receptionist (super helpful) told me that I didn t pass and managed to get me Adam Simcox s email address/phone number). I spoke and emailed Adam. He said that he can allow me to retake the exam by it will be on the 31-March 2017 which was in the next few days. I couldn t take the exam then as I had a major work presentation with supplier - yes, I was offered a job after my apprenticeship. I told Arch about this and said that I could do any other day except the 31-March. They then ignored me for good! If I emailed Adam Simcox he does email me or call me back. I called Arch s reception numerous times and they say that they cannot help me. It s like I ve been blacklisted. I m literally crying typing this as I really tried and worked hard conpleting my diplomas. Arch s lies and lack of communication has wasted my time. All I want is my BTEC certificates. If I have to complete my functional skills maths, then I would do it with Arch.

A great institution that will help you get your foot through the door of the industry you are looking to progress in, with a great network of household name companies such as Google, Facebook, Barclays & many more. If you are willing to put the effort & work in to develop yourself both professionally & mentally.

I started my apprenticeship last March 2015 and have not looked back since. The staff are really helpful, the tutors are very knowledgeable and thorough. The course flew by and I have been offered a job at my place of work. Thanks, Arch

If I was you, I'd keep well clear!
I started my Apprenticeship in August last year, looking to learn more about the Digital Business aspect of the work place. After having to endure a weeks course in Hammersmith to start with, I thought it was onwards and upwards from there. I was wrong!
You get assigned an advisor that is there to help you 'every step of the way'
In the first 3 months I didnt hear a thing, I then was informed that my advisor had changed. Again didnt hear anything, again my advisor was changed and I final heard something.
'I'm at the end of the phone if you need me'
I then started to realise that my coursework modules did not relate to anything I was expected to do at work. I told them and they assured me I was on the right course.
A month down the line, apparently I was actually assigned the wrong modules!
By this time myself and my manager had had enough of them messing me around and told them to sort things out as it was my education they were messing with.
They didnt do anything!
All in all, I have ended up being offered a full time job at my company rather than finish my apprenticeship as my Head of Department could see how badly I was being messed around.
Good thing: I now work for an awesome company!! Bad thing: ARCH!

I was asked to come to a assesment that was over an hour and a half of travel when I arrive i was a few mins late even though I did call to let them know (this is what I was recommended to do by none other then arch apprenticeship) I was sent home immediately. I am extremely upset about this and will no longer ever apply for arch apprenticeship and will not recommend it. (This is my personal experience that is subjective) however I should have known better after seeing reviews of how dishonest they are.

NEVER gave feedback, ignored calls, made me travel round London even though I could barely afford it! I eventually found a apprenticeship with them and then dropped it a month later (And stayed with my company) due to them being so disorganized! AVOID

I came out of college not really knowing what I wanted to do. I found Arch online and arranged an interview with their Manchester office, within a few hours of enquiring. I was interviewed by Leila Reshadi-Negad who was extremely warm and welcoming. She helped me find and secure an apprenticeship within a few weeks!

I then started my apprenticeship and was assigned to Enda Crossan. Enda has been my apprenticeship adviser for close to 3 years and has helped me achieve my C&G Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing (QCF). I am now completing my C&G Level 4 Diploma in Digital Marketing (QCF) too. He is always available for a chat if I'm unsure on anything, makes sure my work is up to scratch and regularly visits my workplace to see how I'm getting on.

I would 100% recommend Arch as they helped me decide on my future and secure a job. Arch will help you get your foot in the door. What's next is up to you.

I started on a Creative and Digital Media level 3 apprenticeship in 2014. Everyone there has been really helpful, the training sessions were always engaging and I have learnt so much from the work placement I was in. The advisor's and recruitment team have been very supportive throughout the entire process, and I now hope to start a level 4 IT Infrastructure apprenticeship with them.

Very good, I really recommend them to anyone serious about getting an apprenticeship.

I recently finished my apprenticeship with Arch and I have to say that my experience was fantastic! You get lots of great support and the quality of the teaching was excellent. It's a great way to get into the industry and I couldn't thank them enough.

Not having a good experience with Arch. Very hard to speak to anyone about anything. They are your best friend when you seem like a good candidate, but as soon as you get a job, you are just another number in their meat grinding cheap labour machine. They do not stand by their apprentices, and they overload their learning development coaches. They also take on learning coaches, who often do not have expertise in the area of work the apprentice is developing. You talk to your learning development coach about your role and they look lost. I have had 2, so this is no coincidence. This is no fault of the coach, this is a true reflection of Arch. Just get a junior role in a company and develope. Everything with Arch takes 10 times as long as it should, and when you speak to Arch about any problem you have with an employer, they will support the employer rather than help you. Most employers abuse apprenticeships, and view it as cheap labour. They often forget you are there to learn, and pile on pressure as if they are paying a premium for your time. Avoid!!!

I couldn't have asked for anything more from what the guys at Arch Apprenticeships have done to get me where I am today. The support and training I received from Enda was second to none. Always on hand to assist with any questions, and encouraging me along the way. As for recruitment, Leila was brilliant during this process and helped me put a foot in the right direction with my apprenticeship course.

Arch is a fantastic training provider who have supported me from start to finish - the staff are all very helpful, they all coached me from interview, through to completion. I have recently completed my HR level 3 apprenticeship with Arch and I'm so excited to now move on to my level 5 qualification and look forward to the next chapter of my career. I highly recommend using Arch.
