I'm currently an apprentice with Arch and have less than a month to go. If I had to summarise the whole experience into one word- FANTASTIC!

I am a college drop out- not because it was too hard, although it was a very difficult time, but because a college can't offer the sort of experience apprenticeships can. I was really nervous when I applied to Arch! My first interview day was last year and it was a long way to travel all the way from Hornchurch to Hammersmith but that again is a boost in independence.

I started at the age of 17 (Now 18), and what I can say is colleges treat you like children and when you are growing up, that's the last thing you want. With Arch, they treat you like an adult because as you work- you are one! My confidence has grown massively, I'm a lot more independent and even better I'm getting paid for it and earning a qualification!!!

Currently I am working for a film office which is pushing me into the film industry and that is exactly what I was looking to get into and to be totally honest, I thought it was a dream that would never come true!!- Yet here I am!

I can't thank Arch enough for where I am now!

Anyone who is on the fence trying to decide what to do or if you feel you are not doing well at college- DON'T THINK TOO HARD, it will most likely be the best decision you will make for yourself and your career.
