What an amazing place. I haven't been fortunate enough to see an event here, but the amphitheatre is simply a work of art. The surrounding scenery is simply gorgeous. Visited here on a Sunday morning and there were quite a number of people exercising utilizing the 70 rows of steps in various ways (push ups, legs raises, jumping, running, etc.).

There is quite a comprehensive and well done museum covering both the musical history and the history of the amphitheatre as well. There is a restaurant, bathroom facilities, places to buy water and all sorts of souvenirs. Absolutely worth a visit for the whole family.

No review will ever do this place justice. For those who were fortunate enough to grow up with this beautiful setting in their backyards it hold a very special place in our hearts. For Coloradans seeing a show at Red Rocks is our church, surrounded by our best friends and listing to our favorite bands. Like most true Colorado experiences you have to be in shape to truly enjoy it. PSA treat this place with respect and it will always be there for you.

Historic venue in a beautiful setting. We were at a private event so ate a great meal on the terrace before the Killer Queen concert. The place was packed and the band put on an almost 2 1/2 hour show of Queen hits.

This is the coolest concert venue I've ever been to. It's enormous and has a great outdoor vibe, plus you get to look at big rocks. And they run a good show, too.

It helps to also be seeing a cool band. Vulfpeck and Kamasi Washington were amazing. I want to go back!

Beautiful theater, good sound. I wish that there were more restrooms and that the event coordinators would be more communicative during rain and thunderstorms so that we know what is happening.

WOW!!! The venue of venues in the U.S.. I don't think I'll be able to top this one in the U.S. and possibly the world! Came for a 420 Eve show 2019. AMAZING!!! Best concert vibes of my life, and we go to lots of concerts and have seen lots of big name tickets.

An amazing place to experience live music, views, and outdoor ambience in a very special setting. Parking fills up fast, so arrive early. If you don't have a reserved seat, the General Admission seats are the lower rows, and upper rows. If you want to shoot with your friends, arrive 60-90 minute before the start of your concert. Also, bring something to sit on, as the 'seats' are concrete and wood benches. No umbrellas allowed, but a pinch of rain jacket is recommended for those common, brief Colorado showers on an August evening.
Red Rocks is a must do for anyone who calls themselves a Coloradan!

Such an awesome creation from God. This is a wonderful hike and over looks Denver. You can see the lakes and planes flying in. Nice place to pack in a lunch for a sunset date. It is a steady climb to the top. But worth every step just take your time.

Really beautiful spot. My big regret is that I got there on an event day as a guest of a local family member. I advise you to check the event schedule online if you want to see the actual amphitheater. Was limited to just the museums and the gift shops. Could not even see the amphitheater (stage and seating), very disappointed.

Hands down the best venue I have ever been to in my life. Amazing scenery, and the sound is absolutely incredible. I go there during the day in the summer to exercise too! I recommend going through the museum area to get some of the awesome history as well.

The sound here is incredible, setting is exquisite. Touted as the best outdoor acoustic venue in the US, and one of the best in the world. Fo for a walk around during the morning, but don t go to late, as they close to the public early afternoon to prepare for the evening concert.

Performances here sound better than they do on the radio. The natural acoustics are spectacular and a dream venue for many performers. I'm luck to live near enough to catch several shows a year.

Nothing else like this American icon. Beautiful view of Denver while surrounded by amazing natural rock formations. Experiencing a concert here is awesome. The natural acoustics are lauded by musicians. They love playing here.

Great venue but Scalpers seem to get almost all the tickets (even for shows many months ahead). The mark-up is unbelievable and then they charge $68 per ticket as a service fee. Too bad for music lovers!

It's red rocks. What else can I say. Probably the best concert venue on this planet at least. Everyone should attend a concert here at least one time during your life. Bucket list location.

One of my favorite places of all time words can't explain the amazingness of red rocks! FAIR WARNING!! If you've never been be prepared to get a work out walking up and down the ampitheatre stairs, drink plenty of water, they have a heart check station, and whatever you do if you take a Lyft/Uber TELL THE UBER TO TAKE YOU TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE otherwise you are gonna hate your life!

It s a beautiful amphitheater, and having hiking trails around it is a great way to see the area. Haven t been for a concert yet, but I ve heard it s great.

I m not quite sure why Denver residents felt the need to workout there though. I can only assume they are there to show off, since there are so many other places to workout with far less tourists. In fact, one guy working out there stopped his workout to comment to a group of women taking selfies, and I quote: you girls should spend less time taking selfies and more time working out. Not only did he say it once, but turned to another group of girls and repeated it!

Such an epic summer night. My first time here with a buddy. Whoa, what a hike just to get up there if you aren't from the Denver area. Get your workout on beforehand if you're traveling from out of town lol.

What an awesome area! Whether you come to see a show, watch a movie, or just hang out, it s a must-see in the Denver area. The view is absolutely breathtaking! During the day, the amphitheatre is flooded with people who come to chat, hang out with their dogs, or exercise on the stairs. It s a good place to meet a wide variety of people from all over the world and there s a lot to do!

I have been to outdoor amphitheaters before, but nothing can compare to the Red Rock. It's a challenge getting into and out of if you are not acclimatized to the altitude. The best sound stage and seating area I have seen. I recommend this place to everyone.

Haven't been here for a concert, but as a place to hike to it's a lovely destination. Quite busy, with tourists, folks exercising and just prancing about on stage - really cool atmosphere and I can imagine an actual concert here would be incredible. Hope to make it back for one someday.

Legendary venue. Be prepared for a long hike way up from the lots into the theater, and again way up to your seat. Note that will call is in a separate location, way down below the venue, with very limited parking. Compare this year's bookings to say, Alpine Valley, and you will see that this is an immensely popular place.
