Two safety issues: engine failure on the basis of a worn V-belt, as a result of which we questioned the maintenance and had to limit our sailing plan to the Grevelingen. The gas oven was difficult to turn off. In addition, it was a shame that the fridge only charged with shore power. The landlord reacts too laconically to comments about this.

had a great weekend when renting a cabin sailing boat. However, an additional 48 euros must be paid in the settlement for additional costs; consists of tourist tax and the subscription for possible overnight stays on one of the islands in the Grevelingen. Where the rest of the costs consist of is unclear. Really a bit too much, because you also have to clean the boat yourself ....
For the birthday of my wife - together with our children aged 7 and 10 - hired a falcon for a nice day sailing. For 95 euros you have a day a polyvalk without outboard engine which is 15 euros extra. However, no outboard engine was available anymore. While there was not much wind that day. I had explicitly asked for it at the beginning of the day. First we had to sail out of the harbor with a very narrow entrance and hardly any wind. Then we sailed into the grevelingen with plenty of wind. After we wanted to sail back after lunch, the wind dropped even more to wind force 0-0.5. Without an outboard engine it was now blown. When we called at 4:00 pm with an hour left that we barely made any progress there was little willingness to help us. "Make sure you get someone's tow." We eventually got a tow from a yacht, but it did not go all the way to the harbor. Then they came to pick us up with difficulty when it was already 5:45 PM. On arrival back at the port at 6:15 pm we were presented with a bill of 50 euros. That's half a day's rent from the polyvalk because we were an hour late. And that we were still happy that they had not charged us more for the collection. I asked for an outboard motor for 15 euros! but got an extra charge for 50 euros! Half a day rental of the boat! This while we had previously obtained CWOII for cabin yachts for hundreds of euros at Acquavitesse. At the time it was good and friendly. However, this time it was no longer the atmosphere and friendliness of yesteryear. Unfortunately I have to conclude that I will not return to Acquavitesse ...
We sail for many years in the different areas in Holland. The charter boats of Aquavitesse are in a decent condition, but not intoxicating. The service, however, is more than perfect. Very friendly, take care of everything and just nice. The area itself is demanding. We will be back.
Nice club. Rented a boat for the third time in two years. Now I have gained experience with three different instructors, all of whom are skilled and positive. We like to come back again.

We had made a reservation for the four of us to paddle board. We arrive there after an hour's drive from our house. They say there casually that it is not possible because of too strong wind. Would have been nice if we had been informed.
I can't say anything about the sailing school but the beach that is next to it. Super nice sand great water. It's a nice, compact beach in a bay right by the harbor so you get something on offer. When the beautiful sailing boats go out! As everywhere on the North Sea, there are of course small crabs as well as a few torments. From the car a minute to the sand depending on how full the park space is. It doesn't cost any money to visit the beach as well as parking. I can only recommend it!
Nice beach, more and more to do, also nice to take a walk with the dog (part of the beach without a dog, but here you walk fine above. You can walk small, medium and a large round.
Enjoyed a midweek on the beneteau first 25.7, a fine and complete boat. Also very enthusiastic about Aquavittese. Good explanation, competitive rates, friendly staff. We will definitely return.

Super friendly and customer-friendly people at the sailing school. Out of interest in open dinghy, I received good advice and was allowed to test the RS Aero for an hour (pro bono).
The lessons are clear, the instructor explains everything well. Even if you have never sailed, you can learn it here.

Did a day tour with the sloep. It's fun and there is a lot to discover. The people at Aquavitesse were very friendly and helpful.
Good & correct service. Clear and comprehensive explanation at departure. Not too much administrative hassle. Boats are well maintained and equipped with all necessary equipment.
