Stayed here as a last resort. I was kind of tired we came a day early so we can't get into the hotel that we had booked for the next night. Casino area is really smokey I would prefer to have a bigger selection in the non-smoking area.
Had a great time here. The casino isn't huge, which I loved. The Cafe was great. All their restaurants were open. Most of the people working there were very friendly. Beautiful river views, and affordable rooms. Loved the live band. Only complaint is that beers/drinks are way over priced.
First I preface my statement with I understand businesses are doing their best due to Covid. However clean sheets and towels are mandatory. Family vacation 5 rooms booked by myself and other family members. Room rates were ridiculous but it was the Labor Day weekend. My first room had blood stained sheets. We were moved to another room. Second room towels were dirty with make-up. Went to Family Dollar and bought towels. Hallway carpets were nasty with huge stains. Need tile. Elevators glitchy. Hotel has really gone down. Just 4yrs ago it was best on the river. Casino and restaurants staff super nice.
This place was nice it's big and lots of games and I didn't just straight lose so it was a good place to stop in and play because I can't win a dime at there other casinos they own Arizona Charlie's as well as PTs and the Aquarius is by far the nicest of them all , the place was clean no people asking for cigarettes the staff was nice and helpful the only thing I would change is make the bathrooms easier to see .but overall it's a nice place
Sam check in associate is asking answers questions to the fullest. Very hospitable. But the carpets, windows and curtains are very dirty.
Needs a major remodel. Elevators are sketchy af. Parking structure shakes, the elevators in the parking structure are even worse.
Rooms were dirty. Found a nail on the floor, hairs on the bed and hairs in the shower. I feel like if the cleaning staff is going to be lazy about ACTUALLY changing the bed sheets in between guests, at least invest in tape to take off all the hairs. I would ve complained but we were only in for one night. Maybe the Edgewater next door is cleaner.
Not ratings horribly because staff was super nice. Not their fault the building is gross. Casino was cool. There s tons of restaurants in the hotel and walking distance near by.
Nice casino. I visited 3pm ish on a Tuesday. Friendly staff, helpful. I appreciate this establishment keeping up on people regarding their masks. Ate at the Outback. Good food, it was very hot.
The casino seemed to need a bit of updating but nothing major. The hotel however is nowhere how it was 30 years ago when it was once the beautiful Flamingo hotel. Fixtures as simple as the curtains and even the thermostat need some updating. The staff was very friendly until you needed them from your room. Then you got a better response calling from an outside line than from your room. But we'll chalk that up to getting back into the grove after being hit so hard by the Covid-19 hospitality industry.
Room was dirty upon arrival and we called desk for new room and they informed us they were sold out. There was no cell service in many areas of the casino and barely in room WiFi.
Workers were more concerned with you wearing a mask than cleaning tables and disinfecting everything people were touching. The mask rule did not apply to the entertainers when they were served at bar without one.
I ordered a drink after playing on a table for a few hours and it was never delivered.
Come morning, I woke up to my feet itching and bites (when I got home it was confirmed bed bugs).
Manager we spoke with was very concerned and filed report and gave us a refund for the room. We had shown her pictures of the badly non clean room and hallway carpets and she said hotel was overdue for renovation due to Covid. Not sure how that matters by not cleaning a room and at least vacuuming carpet?
This is far from a 3 star hotel.
Rooms comfortable, clean, flat screen too small. Nice view of the Colorado River.
Nice casino area and selection of games.
Restaurants need more workers, had to wait a very unreasonable amount of time (one hour), with 4 to 5 times open tables compared to those being served. Forced my party of 4 to go elsewhere to eat after that experience. Which means they also lost some additional gaming revenue.
