The techs that come to your house do a good job, especially considering the lack of information they're given. The 3 different ladies I spoke to over the phone were dumber than a sack of hammers and they told me I had to wait another 48 hours for them to fix their mistake. Pitiful ---

I ve been attempting to contact Texas811 to change our company contact for three months and no one has returned my calls. Sometime soon, someone is going to attempt to call our company with a real emergency, and no one is going to answer. I tried to be proactive with my company s contact number change, but now I m just waiting for a disaster. Texas 811 now provides terrible service after the initial setup.

This call and disregard ticket due to "insufficient" information is obnoxious.
Driving directions were provided, physical address provided, over view available upon request provided. Calling after request has been submitted and canceling ticket is the most annoying thing about dealing with these people. If i don't answer because its been two hours after the work day ends leave a voicemail and allow me to call back. Its getting real old having to resubmit tickets when I'm on the road because someone cant read their cardinal directions. What is the point of highlighting the required area to be marked if no-one can see it or use the info given to them? This place is about as bad as the DPS office, Typical lazy individuals that cant use their brain. Any lines "damaged" should become the responsibility of these clowns for not responding or being able to think in a timely manor.

Should be 0 stars for egregious policies and responses.

Started on the phone after a good wait. That became impossible as they wanted to try and verbally map a pasture. So, I stopped that conversation. And set up a Portal account. Established a ticket. Used their mapping tool to map the pasture. The web site does not work well. But obviously I sent it in. Got back an error message email stating they called my phone twice about the mapping. My phone does not have their missed calls. Tried to reply to the email, got an email reply Texas811 is not a valid email. Seems like bad customer service. I am sure the government and utilities pay for this service. Must be the old adage, "I don't care, I don't have too".
