I'ts very clean and the best of all was the price of the entry for all the things you can do and see it's a very nice price, also the food zone it's very nice, it serve you very nice food!
Such a great place to bring your young kids. My daughter is 5yrs and she thinks the entire place is a wonderland.
We always enjoy our visits here with wonderful exhibit and lots for the kids to do. They have tons of options at perfect eye level for little ones and plenty to do for older kids as well.
Took mg son for his 6th birthday..was amazing..he still remembers the jelly fish very educational..and rememberable
AOP has excellent evening classes for engaged and educated adults (and educators), that explore the scientific and social aspects of important topics. Speakers are absolutely authorities in relevant topics.
Jerry gets scientists, explorers, major CEO's and even politicians to come and teach. The classes are small and the interaction is intimate and very open. As easily accessible and sincere as can be imagined, and everything is at the absolutely highest levels, data, information, interchange and people!
Not much to do if your child is like mine. She quickly looked at the fishes for five seconds and said next. She moved like that from exhibit to exhibit. It's very clean and I like the hand washing stations they had placed at convenient locations. But maybe we'll go again next year...However, I think we got a good deal buying the combo for the LA Zoo and Aquarium!
Lots to see! Spectacular aquarium! Great place for toddlers. Up close tanks! Walk right up and get personal with the fishy's!
My kids love the sea creatures....they can play and learn at the same time...
Great place to go with the kids or even on a date. The aquarium offers package deals for the aquarium and other local landmarks/activities. We purchased a ticket for the aquarium and a tour of the Queen Mary for $40 each. Workers are very friendly AND informative.
Awesome aquarium. Love the pools to pet sharks, jellyfish, horseshoe crabs, and Rays! All proceeds they say goes to the charity of the aquarium. Also, SEA OTTERS!! They also offer "Animal Encounters", where you can pay about $40 extra and actually get inside to pet, feed, and be with some animals such as the seals, sea lions, sea otters, and more!
Beautiful marine life experience with tactile learning.
Love this place. Wide variety, high quality experience
Beautiful city with a beautiful aquarium for my beloved So Cal (especially during their evening hours). Great staff, very friendly and interactive. This is a gem of and staple to Long Beach. Such a wonderful place to bring family and experience mother nature's beauty from a sea life point of view. Amazing sights, amazing and beautiful creatures. Keep growing, Aquarium of the Pacific. See you soon.
We got a chance to feed the birds and touch the stingrays, which was amazing. It was a spectacular day for my daughter's first time at the Aquarium!
It was awesome! I went with my fiancee and we had an amazing time. I would definitely go back.
Not what we expected. The price was not even worth it. No shows, just view sea creatures. The shark tank was terrible. Only about 10 sharks and a sawfish. If you are hoping for something like Sea World, don't waste your time. We spent about 1 hour in the park and got bored, so we walked on the board walk and found that more exciting. Sorry but would not recommend.
Love it! my kids loved it. We had a great day. Just make sure to be on time for the special shows if you want to get a good seat!
Very good place for kids or adults the parrots area is so kool buy 1 little cup of there food and they fly on top of you also the seal part 2nd floor is awesome take at lease 6 to 7 hours to enjoy everything and parking is good. With validation is 8 dollars on a sunday and right after that you can walk arround next to the water is an awsome time me and my family we did enjoy it so much
This is a small aquarium. I think you better off visiting the aquarium in exposition Blvd in Los Angeles by the LA colosseum much more to do and see there
Very clean, affordable price. Under roof parking, interactive activities, lots of fish; most of them sea fish. Have a good experience.
Great family day out. Amazing for children of all ages.
Always something new to learn whether you're young or older like myself I still like to feed my brain even if I've already studied it. The kids love it here and after the surrounding area is nice for a picnic, stroll or plenty of restaurants to choose from. This place is well maintained by the way.
Could spend the whole day and not see everything.just be ready for the ridiculous food prices
Nice place to take the kids on the weekend... just to get away, so much interesting sea life there.
Very interesting, would recommend to take the aquarium and whale watching combo which gives you great value, and is worth a trip, and when you do these 2 it would give you a full day.
Good place to take a group of teenagers. Getting to actually touch stingrays and sharks is pretty cool.
You can find some coupons at its online homepage or thru web searching most of the times. This aquarium is always very good place to spend abosut two hours my my kids. There was new area for feeding nectar for tropical birds. One of your family can buy one cup of nectar for $4, and you will have wonderful experience. Or you can just pass though it while watching others feeding the birds. Touching small sharks is always a wonderful experience to children.
Nice place to visit and capture the ocean nature recommended for the family to have a great time there enjoy it.
Small by today's standards, but very fun, and the creatures look healthy. Great interactives too.
This is a great place to bring young kids to explore the ocean lives without driving far to see. It has great access to the parking structures and restaurants. Ticket price is decent and won't break your bank for the whole family. There is a bird sanctuary where you can feed lemonade to the birds. There also have a pool where kids can touch small reef sharks, stringray, sea star, and horseshoe crab. They also have penguin and sea lion. Kids can play in a small playground where they can shoot water. Weekends also have different performance shows. All in all, it is a great place to bring kids to learn stuff instead of looking at phones or tablets. Highly recommended.
Lots to see upstairs, make sure you explore the whole area. Very nice aquarium.
Wonderful experience for my girlfriend and I, it was her first time at an aquarium and it definitely painted a lot of good memories for us. Definitely worth the trip and I can't wait to go again when they're done remodeling!!! Only downside was the food court was busy and crowded, and the prices were on the high side.
came early on a saturday morning to beat the crowds. this was a smart move. worked our way through the aquarium in about 3ish hours. loved the exhibits and how interactive it was. the otters were so cute! parking was about $8 when i came, but you could leave your car there all day and explore around. we walked to the lighthouse outside and then to this little pier with restaurants and shops after finishing up at the aquarium.
Great for the whole family. A bit too crowded on a chilly Saturday in February.
Haven't been here since opening when we were members but I wasn't impressed
Great exhibits and learning opportunities. Loved petting the jellyfish!
Nice aquarium with lovely exhibits. Was a bit disappointed at the lack of larger animals, it seemed very small scale.
I went on a Monday so it was not so crowded. Kids loved it which made me happy.
Truly great experience very beautiful animals to see, definitely a pain to find parking. Try to go on a day that isn't as busy as well.
Amazing experience! I've never been to a big Aquarium, and this one certainly impressed me!
Avoid weekday mornings, as that's when schools brings their kids and it is a madhouse! Early weekday afternoons are the best times.
Experience was amazing touching baby sharks tours you can attend !!!! I'll be going whale watching in long beach soon as it stops raining
I had my first date here and it was just as amazing as I had hoped it would be. I especially loved the picture they take of you at the beginning as a keepsake; made an easy choice for a day I always wanted to remember!
This place is big enough to admire but small enough to see all the splendor of the different species of fish and Marine life. The attendants are very helpful and considerate. There is a lot of walking to do and a lot of admiring to behold. Great place to spend a few hours.
The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed! Alot of marine life in such a small aquarium but they look like they're still expanding and building.
Great place to kill a couple hours. The annual pass is a fantastic deal if you're a local.
Fun way to spend the day. Something for every age from toddlers and up. Love the puppet show and storytime. Parking is reduced to $8 but it's less depending on how long you stay. If you are a pass holder you can buy discounted parking ahead of time. Close to food but a short wall to more food options in the pike area.
A fun place to spend afternoon/evening. Look into a joint pass for Queen Mary too
Fun place to visit and see a l types of fish and sealife.
Crowded with lots of kids and families on a Sunday afternoon, no problem, I get that, but no one around to keep kids from climbing everywhere and stroller city prohibiting others from viewing and little people running around, so not an easy experience, but OK, came for the fish. And, lots of fish in many tanks, but the place seems so old school and dreary and uncheerful. Place needs a redo, refresh. Outside architecture so inviting; inside, dull and bland. Exhibit info old school; didn 't see any interactive or new tech use. Was rather disappointed despite the large aquariums and many interesting aspects of sea life.
Lots to see and learn about here! Very impressive all the way around, especially since almost every worker there are volunteers.
The otters are great, and the jelly fish. Tons of people though, I get sick every time I visit.
They had a great exhibit and you can spend hours here.
Great place to see some fish birds and ocean animals
Due to construction going on things weren't as cohesive as usual. My Grandson didn't enjoy himself once was his favorite place
my son who is now 10hated this place the sharks nearly ate him
Its a good place to take ypur kids . They very friendly . Fun place
Outdoor attractions were a little.limited but well worth the price for a.lovely day out with a 3 year old.
