Very nice an friendly people's. Lots of info about the dolphins and the whales
With the recent updates this place is great.
Also great for Pokemon Go
Kids loved it!!! It's so cool inside and also with lots of outdoor fun!!
I really liked it's a good place to go with your family.
Brought my nieces and nephews here and they loved it. There were a ton of exhibits and they loved running around and seeing all the sea creatures. I liked that there was a ton of parking and there are a bunch of places to walk around and see afterwards. Great center with a ton of fun things to do here and all around here.
Very fun to learn all about the animals that are mostly local and I'm from out of state so it was very cool
Great place for a weekend getaway with the family. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and a spectacular pier with arcades and activities for the kids. Parking has been available during all of our visits and we've even taken a stroll to the local theater about 3-4 blocks away. Loads of fun in a great location.
Highly recommend for younger kids. Always wonderful place to visit to learn about the oceanic environment!
Great destination to bring the little ones, I was expecting more but don't regret coming!
Parking instructions during GP race weekend not worth the paper printed on but once inside worth it. Still rate Monterey as #1 on this coast but some fabulous and educationally diverse exhibits including sea otters and mesmorising jelly fish.
Recommend harbour tour combination ticket.
This place is great for kids and adults! They have a touch pool to touch sting rays and small sharks. They have many different tanks to look around. They also have different frogs and jelly fish. Parking validation gives parking rate at 8$ flat. Admission was 30$ for an adult
Beautiful displays and tons for marine life. Could spend a whole day with the family and still not be able to see every exhibit. I recommend you get here early and enjoy the great Long Beach weather as you explore all the exhibits this aquarium has to offer. Make sure you bring in your parking stub to get it validated and save on parking.
Nice aquarium, minus all of the children of course, but that comes with the territory I suppose.
Visited with my granddaughter and daughter in law. Got the guided tour from my perfect family.
One of my favorite things to do is travel and see aquariums. By far I'd have to say this aquarium is a little small but defiantly a great attraction located at pier 39. It's a great place for small kids that would like to see the deep ocean and even get some hands on experience with the animals in the touch pool.
A wonderful place to. The family loves it so much. The staff is so knowledgeable with the animals. They take pride in keeping the place clean. My kids love coming any chance they get.
Save your receipt its tax deductible! Love bringing the kids here. The annual pass is a great deal. Gets a bit crazy on days there are lots of schools
The birds are awesome. But go on.a weekday when It's less of a crush.
Awesome place for the family but kinda pricey bring cash
They have variety of species. Friendly staff as well. Feeding the parakeet was the best experience there, they were awesome.
It was fun seeing different kinds of fish. It was cool going through tunnels.
Go out and learn something new! Family friendly and interactive for kids

One of the great aquarium to visit with family. Great place to walk and fun family activities.
Amazing. So many surprises here. Plan to spend the day, there s a lot to see, from sharks you can touch to divers in tanks swimming with sharks, the Aquarium is full of wonderful creatures and information about marine biology and the state of the planet. Beautiful location too. I m hoping next time to combine a visit with a whale watch trip.
Highly over priced for such a small aquarium center.
It's a great place to spend with the family bring your kids
I love this place. Spent a whole day with my 5 year old kid who was amazed by everything she saw. The perfect environment for a curious mind.
Great place for the kids to see all kinds of sea life
Was very nice. Have nothing against the aquarium. It's just very crowded on weekends and becomes very frustrating to walk to different locations.
It was great, wr all had a blast, piece of advice, you can always use Groupon to get your passes online, cheaper and plus you would skip lines
Been going here since i was in 2nd grade. Great place to go to with kids. Not much to see but perfect for a short trip.
Best experience for the family. For all animal lovers you will enjoy. The kids will love every bit of the aquarium. There are hands on cases where you can touch some of the creatures for the sea. But for the most part alot of the animals are behind the glass. Don't forget to take a break and check out their food court. Also there's an theatrical display of the sea. Just check for the show times. Enjoy.
Great place to take your family. I enjoyed watching the otters play in the aquarium. I love the fact that they sell alcohol beverages to enjoy as you are walking through the aquarium.
It hasn't changed in years. They really need to upgrade and modernize the place. It's so sad.
So much fun with kids and plenty of stuff to see and do!
Too expensive for a small aquarium. Was okay but definitely wouldn't go again. Not worth the price
Very relaxing watching the fish. Can touch sea creatures. Learn more about sea animals. I learned how they treat the sick sea creatures. Saw the new frog exhibit.
Love this place. Not a fan of animals in captivity, however how else can we learn...?
Animals are cool. Was a bit smaller than expected. Staff was friendly. So many kids!
So many exhibits! And incredibly friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent place to care a small kids and good on grandparents also
This is a good aquarium. I've been to many aquariums around the U.S. and this one is high qualty.
Always a wonderful visit! Lots to see and do. A bit crowded on summer weekend afternoons, but if you make a day of it and take it slow, it's fun for the whole family. Highly reccomend shark touch tanks, lorekeet forest, and the jellyfish exhibits. Great for local children to learn more about our local ocean and great for all kids to see lots of animals!
My family came out from Houston, Tx. They Loved it.
It's very small not worth the price of 30 dollars a person it's good for smaller kids not lot do there finished seeing everything in about and hour and half but it's ok for going one time
really loved it.. just wish it was bigger.. we couldn't get enough lol.
My family loves this place! Its great for all ages. We have been members for years. A little tip is to get the family membership if you are going more the once a year, it is well worth it!!
Loved it wide variety of undersea creatures and great price!
It was kinda small not what I expected but really cool u can touch the small sharks and sting rays
Lots of fun but not enough fish life, we were expecting more. they are expanding it and making it bigger though.
My kids loved this place! There were many animals for them to touch and see..Kid friendly.
A must see site for anyone visiting LA, Also a great destination for a date.
We love love love this place!! All the employees are so friendly and the new theater has become a family favorite. My grandson fell in love with the jellyfish. I love that there's so much to touch and experience. It's a great family trip.
Fun place for the whole family! We did get to touch sharks and jellyfish! Definitely a must for family fun!
We had a ball! There was a lot of people though and the food was EXPENSIVE. ATM access and elevators for handicap functionality. Parking in the structure is $8 for all day.
Very fun place to take kids of all ages. Lots of sea life to explore and learn about.
Cute aquarium, was expecting it to be a bit bigger but it's good for kids
This place gets pretty busy, but if you can get there in the early morning hours it is much less crowded. I recommend purchasing a membership if your children enjoy visual stimulation and hands on experiences. You can touch sting rays, jelly fish, small sharks, sea stars, sea cucumbers, anemones, etc.. You can also feed the lorikeets by purchasing a small nectar cup for $4. There is a cafe and a snack bar inside the aquarium if you get hungry or you can eat at many of the restaurants within a few steps of the aquarium. There is a well stocked gift shop by the entrance and a small gift stand outside. Restrooms are usually clean and there are plenty of places to wash your hands or sanitize them. Don't forget to validate your parking ticket and pay only $8 for the day. If you are a member you can pay $20 for 5 parking passes.
Nice aquarium. Plenty of exhibits to keep you busy.
Wow, Amazing Place....
I enjoyed....
Great place to visit. Many species of to see including some large Ray's and(6-11') sharks. Penguins, sea otters,.sea lions and seals. Animal shows. Can touch live sharks, Ray's and horseshoe crabs in outside area and anemones, sea urchins, and other small sea life inside. Can see everything in a few hours or take all day so is good for small children up through adults. Food and snacks available.
A beautiful facility with very friendly staff. They do an excellent job at showcasing their animals, the habitats they live in, and how they are interconnected. Conservation is prominent in what they do, helping to empower their visitors.
This place is excellent for kids and for adults. Most of the exhibits are interactive so you can actually touch the animals. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful.
The only problem was an inconspicuous metal bench that decided to assault my shins, but, other than that, it was great. I'd recommend making a beeline for the otters and sea lions.
Beautiful and educational facility with the best docents ever. Thank you Stan Eiler!
Beautiful facilities. Great night rate prices. Had a wonderful time with my family there.
I particularly liked the petting (ponds?). I got to touch horshoe crabs, small sharks and rays. One area had a jellyfish type of sea life that felt like nothing when you touched them; they were so delicate. The aquarium, of course, had the usual sea life displays including otters, penguins, puffins, and. a number of educational exhibits concerning climate change. Outside the aquarium are some fine restaurants to complete your tour.
Just Wish they had a bigger sharks or dolphins or whales......
I touched jellyfish for the first time in my life. Had so much fun.
Beautiful aquarium. My kids liked it. The penguin encounter is too cute. You must bring your family place.
