Brought my nieces and nephews here and they loved it. There were a ton of exhibits and they loved running around and seeing all the sea creatures. I liked that there was a ton of parking and there are a bunch of places to walk around and see afterwards. Great center with a ton of fun things to do here and all around here.

Great place for a weekend getaway with the family. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and a spectacular pier with arcades and activities for the kids. Parking has been available during all of our visits and we've even taken a stroll to the local theater about 3-4 blocks away. Loads of fun in a great location.

Parking instructions during GP race weekend not worth the paper printed on but once inside worth it. Still rate Monterey as #1 on this coast but some fabulous and educationally diverse exhibits including sea otters and mesmorising jelly fish.
Recommend harbour tour combination ticket.

This place is great for kids and adults! They have a touch pool to touch sting rays and small sharks. They have many different tanks to look around. They also have different frogs and jelly fish. Parking validation gives parking rate at 8$ flat. Admission was 30$ for an adult

Beautiful displays and tons for marine life. Could spend a whole day with the family and still not be able to see every exhibit. I recommend you get here early and enjoy the great Long Beach weather as you explore all the exhibits this aquarium has to offer. Make sure you bring in your parking stub to get it validated and save on parking.

One of my favorite things to do is travel and see aquariums. By far I'd have to say this aquarium is a little small but defiantly a great attraction located at pier 39. It's a great place for small kids that would like to see the deep ocean and even get some hands on experience with the animals in the touch pool.

Amazing. So many surprises here. Plan to spend the day, there s a lot to see, from sharks you can touch to divers in tanks swimming with sharks, the Aquarium is full of wonderful creatures and information about marine biology and the state of the planet. Beautiful location too. I m hoping next time to combine a visit with a whale watch trip.

Best experience for the family. For all animal lovers you will enjoy. The kids will love every bit of the aquarium. There are hands on cases where you can touch some of the creatures for the sea. But for the most part alot of the animals are behind the glass. Don't forget to take a break and check out their food court. Also there's an theatrical display of the sea. Just check for the show times. Enjoy.

Always a wonderful visit! Lots to see and do. A bit crowded on summer weekend afternoons, but if you make a day of it and take it slow, it's fun for the whole family. Highly reccomend shark touch tanks, lorekeet forest, and the jellyfish exhibits. Great for local children to learn more about our local ocean and great for all kids to see lots of animals!

This place gets pretty busy, but if you can get there in the early morning hours it is much less crowded. I recommend purchasing a membership if your children enjoy visual stimulation and hands on experiences. You can touch sting rays, jelly fish, small sharks, sea stars, sea cucumbers, anemones, etc.. You can also feed the lorikeets by purchasing a small nectar cup for $4. There is a cafe and a snack bar inside the aquarium if you get hungry or you can eat at many of the restaurants within a few steps of the aquarium. There is a well stocked gift shop by the entrance and a small gift stand outside. Restrooms are usually clean and there are plenty of places to wash your hands or sanitize them. Don't forget to validate your parking ticket and pay only $8 for the day. If you are a member you can pay $20 for 5 parking passes.

A beautiful facility with very friendly staff. They do an excellent job at showcasing their animals, the habitats they live in, and how they are interconnected. Conservation is prominent in what they do, helping to empower their visitors.

I particularly liked the petting (ponds?). I got to touch horshoe crabs, small sharks and rays. One area had a jellyfish type of sea life that felt like nothing when you touched them; they were so delicate. The aquarium, of course, had the usual sea life displays including otters, penguins, puffins, and. a number of educational exhibits concerning climate change. Outside the aquarium are some fine restaurants to complete your tour.
