A nice place to get away. My son loved the land train. Accommodation in need of a face lift.
A nice place to get away. My son loved the land train. Accommodation in need of a face lift.
My friend ollie goes here 3 times a year as says it's well worth the 5k a week.
Love centre parcs, first family holiday, only downside is the heater in our room isn't working will call maintenance in the morning.
Amazing week, great activities, executive Lodge is brilliant with the sauna, steam room and hot tub, we made good use of these, staff checked the chemical levels everyday. Only down side was not enough towels supplied if using hot tub etc twice a day as well as showering.
Brilliant place, wildlife and activities, just a bit pricey!
Had an amazing time there
booked an executive lodge for me and my wife plus our little boy.
Had a really great time and there is plenty to do and plenty of places to eat.
The pricing can be expensive if you leave it until last minute like we did, but we dont regret the price as we had such a nice time.
The photos say it all.
Fabulous place for couples and families with lots to do ,can be pricey if you are a long stay and do loads, or come within the week just use the pool areas plenty there to do for free
Great time as always. Longleat is the biggest of the parcs, and I enjoy it the most as a result
Just stayed for 4 nights, lovely place for families
outstanding will be back..hopefully all open next time
We stayed in the firn lodge, the size was good for a family of 5. Activities were too much money for the time and type of activitie. High restrictions at our children's age didn't allow them all owl to enjoy the same activities. Pool was fantastic, the kids loved it!
Great for families with children and plenty to do in the rain
Really great family time and pool is excellent. Yes it's expensive, especially if want to do activities etc. but we had a great time.
Amazing 5 days with the family. Xmas light show was spectacular. Eat at most restaurants and not a bad meal had. Cant wait to return next year!
Really helpful staff. A great place with decent disabled access too.
Great place for a family break, if a little expensive.
Really live coming to centre parcs. 3 Rd time we have been to one. Lots of stuff to do. Riding bikes, boats on a lake, fishing, lots of stuff to do in the swimming pool, lots of sport activities. However you will need a fair bit of cash if you want to stuff onsite. Even the shops are expensive. But then saying this you can cater for yourself and just relax in forest with walking etc. Would come back again
Lovely place, lots to do but very expensive and lots of hairpin turns on bike routes which makes it difficult to cycle properly. Accommodation was ok but again not worth the money as things didn't work and bathroom was not properly cleaned.
Really love it. Just be warned times 4 new slides are 11 -7
We have spent holidays in longleat for a number of years. As always we have found the accommodation to be excellent with very good maid service The activities offered are wide ranging and the family favourite of swimming is ideal for all age ranges. The cafes and eateries are varied and suitable for differing family requirements. We ate at Cafe Rouge to celebrate my grandson s birthday. The staff went out of their way to ensure that he and we had a special evening. Special thanks to our lovely waiter Allesandro. Grazie Mille.
As a family we love this place. The staff can never do too much for you. We have been in every season and it's always as good as the last. Longleat has alot of hills but the land train that is put on for free soon sorts that problem.
Lovely place to holiday. Staff are very helpful. Free Land train is a massive bonus as the site is massive and fairly hilly. Pool is great for kids with children areas to play in. Lots of activities that can be booked but these are extra costs. We have been twice and will be returning again.
Amazing holiday. Lots to do and very professional. On site supermarket and restaurants all reasonably priced
Great for a few nights away. Lots to do to keep kids entertained and well kept overall.
Excellent weekend, the Ash lodges where we stayed were fantastic quality. We are at Bella Italia and the pancake house, I would recommend booking as it gets very busy. The pool is amazing and biking everywhere is fun. Archery is extra money but well worth it.
Unforgettable holiday. Great service. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
The lodges are beautiful and you can see deer (and other uncommon wildlife) from your bedroom window. Some lodges have suanas and hot-tubs. A few have disabled access and private parking. Most also have access to a land-train stop they should be displayed on all maps.
The plaza has alot of nice shops. The sweet shop is a bit expensive but does have really nice gift boxes. The parc maket (super market) sells films, cheap sweets, deli and small snacks. The resturants are of the same quality of Frankie and bennie's. The are small ponds so children can see fish (and other water life). The plaza also contains the pool.
The pool is amazing, the three pools are: the main wave pool, the hotspring out-door pool, and the toddler water park pool. The out-door pool has a bit tub, a cold plunge, and the rapid river. The main pool has many slides including the new typhoon and tropical cyclone. The toddler pool has a small pool, many small slides, and a water park.
In conclusion you should go to centre parcs (on holiday). It offers many different activities and types of holiday.
Very good facilities as normal and would recommend to anyone
Had a great time with the family
And when the chain snapped on my bike the man repaired it for free amazing
Amazing place to go with family and friends, endless things to do (however I wish they were a little cheaper) but the swimming center is fantastic
perfect family action retreat, only let down by the mediocre eateries
Very hilly and spread out. Self catering with poorly equipped kitchen. No chopping board. No sharp knife. Nothing to cook in the over with apart from grill pan. 6 person chalet. Soap only in one wc!
We know from other Center Parcs we have to take supplementary dishwasher tablets and cooking equipment . They obviously expect you to eat out .
You could not empty dishwasher and have kitchen cupboards open!
For a six person chalet this was poor. Fridge tiny too. We were only three in 6 person chalet. Could not have coped with 6.
Bear in mind you can only drive to your chalet on check in and check put day. It is a long walk from the shops.
We were a 45 minute walk from the car park too!
Landtrain every 20 minutes does not run on check in or check out days or 24 hours. So some long hilly cold walks.
Actual outdoor facilities good.
Chalets a bit dated. Poor phone signal and slow-wifi made limited channel selection a bit trying. Master bedroom tv smaller screen than my laptop!
Log fires sweet touch. Wine and squash glasses only on kitchen. So if you want a-whisky by a-winter fire take your own glasses.
Spa being renovated. No pool. Not sure when there will be one again.
Long queues mid-week not school holiday time for pancake hut at lunchtime and evening meals. Pre booking needed for most things. Almost everything is extra. It all adds up.
Loved the deer and squirrels that came to our door. Our neighbours had taken a bird feeder and bird food (on sale in shop if you want purchase).
You really need to choose your chalet carefully for proximity/distance to where you plan to spend a lot of time. Cycling is challenging if you are not extremely fit. Getting up those hills is for the really fit.
We have been to Elvedon (flat) and Woburn (hilly but not on this scale). Next time will check Google earth to see hills and layout!
The usual chain restaurants and shops you get at all Center Parcs. Friendly and helpful staff.
If you have pushchairs wheelchairs or mobility scooters be very careful to choose and book a specific lodge. You can't even drive right up to some on check in day.
The regulars know the score but newbies obviously don't.
We were there this week. At peak times the land trains could not be adequate so walking times and hills would be an issue.
Lovely estate. Slightly dated chalets but it has its charms .
Great place, lovely surroundings, very pricey though and lousy customer service, had a couple of issues, no apology no resolution, in fact was made to feel I was at fault as well as basically being called a liar despite eventually admitting they were at fault
Center Parcs all over are my favourite places in the UK to go. Been once a year my whole life, even if for a day trip to the spa at Aqua Sauna.
Friendly staff, amazing location and a get away experience like no other.
Amazing place, immaculate in all areas of Parc. So much fun in pool. Food stunning, definitely be back.
Been every year but all renovated and reastrant was extra busy this time. Drive in was a nightmare half term lost 2hrs of our spa from waiting to get in only to be told there was another entrance. Not sure if were return
Absolutely love this place. Had a brilliant relaxing week.
Been several times absolutely fantastic! The spa is excellent. Would highly recommend!
Amazing you get rapids that go all the way around the plaza (were the pool is) you get brekfast with santa you also can go roller disco I love it.
Was a fab weekend - the lodge included lots of little extras which helped like a couple of dishwasher tablets and a small supply of tea and coffee but some of the activities were expensive
Book a holiday here. It was cancelled due to covid by them. They now do not return calls or emails. I got a call from one person saying that they would refund the card it was booked on. That card has since been cancelled. They did not accept any new card details and I was told the money is now lost. What a bunch of criminals.
Beutiful woodlands, great accommodation, so much to do for the whole family.
Always enjoy centre parcs, but feel cost of bike hire and activities has gotten ridiculous...
Lovely grounds, very peaceful. Exclusive villas are a delight to stay in. Very pricey all round though!
Wonderful family weekend away. Very hilly, so not ideal for cycling, but land train makes it completely acceptable.
We have come here twice before. We had great time before, however last time there were lots of construction happening on site, which meant that in the morning we were woken up with constant drilling and smashing noise instead of usual bird singing. Great place overall, except for the construction noise
I'm totally and wonderfully amazed with my first visit to Venter Parcs Longleat. The accommodation is glorious and of an extremely high standard, plus the park itself is laid out out in a sensitive manner to both guests and local wildlife. Every member of staff we have encountered so far has been incredibly welcoming and polite - nothing is too much trouble and done always with a super smile. I'm definitely coming back as soon as I can!
Lovely, relaxing stay. Ash is great location, close to the pool. Great to get away from the car for a few days.
Always a pleasure to stay here with the family, we go back every year for a short Xmas getaway with the kids, the santa experience is very well done
Quality time with kids and family. It has so many activities that suits both kids and adults. Highly recommended.
Good from Hucks was fantastic. Pool area and slides are really fun. The whole experience is excellent. We even did bowling, archery and raft building which were very well arranged by the staff.
There had been nothing we could fault so far in our stay at Center Parcs. The service from the staff has been efficient and friendly. The accommodation was great value and although we had a leak from one of the towel rails this was very quickly resolved. The park itself was great with loads to do, lots of areas to explore. Some of the activities can be a bit pricey but there are lots of free play areas, the swimming centre and walks. My only suggestion for improvement so far is in the pre-arrival information on the app and website. Everything on there is geared around sales with little useful information. Once onsite though it was easy to find information and where things were.
Lovely Centre Parcs to visit, although very hilly and sparse so prepare for walking, but the addition of the land train is brilliant. Activities can be expensive but you will know these before you even go and not necessary to do. The sub tropical swimming was great with good rides for all. Bit of a trek there but would go back, especially being able to tack Longleat Safari Park and Paultons Park onto the back of the holiday
Best place for a holiday friendly staff lots of activities to get the family outdoors and a massive swim resort
Really enjoyed our stay, great for a young family even in bad weather !
Of the 4 centers parcs that we have been to this one is the hilliest. All the regular cp fun to be had
One of our favourite center parcs locations. It is a huge site (3 miles by 3 miles) and quite hilly but it has a land train for those who don't wish to cycle/walk. There are loads of activities to do, the swimming pool and rapids are fantastic. My advice is to book everything way in advance, especially restaurants if going in school holidays! Staff are brilliant, really helpful and make your stay the best experience! We saw so many woodland animals right by our lodge, including deer! The children loved it.
Great place for all the family lots to do great location and super area for walks and enjoying yourself.
Chill out or be energetic.
Excellent family friendly resort with great activities and friendly staff
Lovely location in longleat forest. Villas are adequate no more and no less than is needed for a week away. Nothing amazing about the villas but nothing wrong either. Only criticism of the Parc is the cost of eating and drinking here. Prices are almost double what you would pay in a normal town centre. Not sure about the chain restaurants though.
Very friendly, nice and clean, like the woods. Activities are expensive.
Absolutely beautiful. Very friendly staff, and plenty of activities to do. Would definitely recommend this holiday to others.
