We 've had really poor customer service. Very disappointing
We missed a land train as it left our nearest stop early. Although we walked to the next stop and were only about 50 yards in front of the train, the driver did not stop at the designated stop and would not wait.
My 72 year old husband then had a long, icy walk to the plaza.
My complaint was met with 'land trains do not stop on the roads.' No apology or offer of alternative means of getting up to the plaza.
Even though park transport is available.
I was all set to 're book for next year.
I don t think so Centre Parcs!

I thought it was massively over-rated and hugely expensive for what it is. Have spoken to lots of friends and people seem too fall into 2 camps: love or loathe Center Parcs. And don't expect anything bar a stock email response from CP about any complaints you have. I'd recommend Butlins. May not have a great image but don't judge and look beyond that - is half the price and equally as good for young kids.

Brilliant and friendly place to stay. We had a woodland villa and you just got the feeling it was just you and your party and noone else. There's plenty of things to do so you'll never be bored

We've had a great time at Longleat Center PARC's. Cabin clean and very well equipped. Ours not too far from the activities. Land Train a great way to get around the site but walkways well signposted.

Going about the place is a soothing balm for the senses. Hills make for some exhilarating cycling. All the restaurants we went to were great, with a special mention for the Las Iguanas cocktail menu and fondue appetizer. The two slides that require a raft were amazingly intense. Fireworks were loads better than I expected. Lodge was really pleasant although, and this was the only slight negative from my visit, the WiFi wouldn't work with my Chromecast due to having a privacy checkbox. In summary I had a nice time.

The most amazing place that I think everyone should go to at least once. Amazing staff, food and things to do. One member of staff went above and beyond to play with my disabled son while the rest of us clothed shopped. We will be going back. Just make sure you are prepared to pay. 5 *******

Stayed in the new 4 bed with games room. All newly refurbished! We all had a great time time. It's good to book the activities in advanced. Also the super market in the plaza closes at 4pm on a Sunday and all restaurants had reservations till fairly late into the evening.

Always the premier place for families. You can take the dog too but to be fair it's not worth it, the exercise areas are tiny and they have to be 'on lead' everywhere else.
Brilliant for the kids though and the staff are all disarmingly pleasant and happy.
Pleasentville with trees!

Was only there 2 nights (at GBP 750). Briefly: grounds clean and well kept, experiences really good and fun / informative, accommodation not clean, a few things broken, no phones in accommodation so if you get no cell service you use a outdoor phonebox to call reception (just hope they answer). They charge for towels at the pool!!!!! If you're from USA, brace yourself.

We have just returned from centre parcs at the longleat forest
The lodges were really really nice and comfortable and cosy
The food, restaurant and take away delivery Service was very good, while there we tried the Chinese, Indian and American all were great.
The only downside was the pool was closed but we knew that would be the case anyway
Also that there was no availability to hire bikes despite the parc only being at 24% capacity as explained to us by an employee there, but usually at 96-100% capacity so they must have had more bikes surely so this was highly disappointing. As the parc is huge it s difficult to navigate on foot because all the signs are for cyclists it was very difficult for us to get to each activity sometimes because of the distance between each and for older people to get around as it s very hilly in places
As newbies to centre parcs a bit more information about this would have been good to prepare us we also found there wasn t anywhere except Starbucks to go for a drink as everything was pre booking only which we unders due to covid
One day we got on the land train but the driver sat for 5 minutes at every stop so we missed our activity despite him knowing the time it was booked for
On the last day everything shut down at 12 you had to leave the site and checkout from the lodges was 9am which was very early.

Staff were very nice and helpful and premises were clean at all times
A lovely break away

I had been to center parcs as a child and had such great memories that I wanted to come back. We stayed in the Redwood Apartments for 7 nights. The apartment was very clean and tidy and had everything that we needed to get through the week. The maid service was fantastic. They visited every day to see if we needed anything as well as giving the room a once over a few times in the week. There is plenty to do and lots of places to eat and drink. We had a relaxing day in the spa as well as a dip in the lively tropical paradise. We came here to relax and that's exactly what happened. It can be as chilled out or a busy as you like. We will be back!

Recommended! Check in and finding the lodge was easy. The lodge is a little tired (executive 2 bed - No. 360) around the edges and could do with a really good clean as it was a bit dusty. Went with young children and they loved it although they were too young for some of the attractions. We had deer approach the rear patio and it was very quiet considering it was almost full. Will return to centre parcs again but will try one of the newer ones.

Cabins are great and the swimming area is a massive hit with the kids. The customer services are naff. We booked our son on an activity that was then cancelled through not enough kids being on it. They offered us a complimentary activity on More

The villas are really well kept and a good size. It's lovely to be in amongst the woodland and you can feel very relaxed. A good selection of restaurants and things to do, the staff are usually very good.

Issues around overgrown brambles addressed really quickly and much appreciated. We did not choose the location of our lodge. Accommodation was reallocated by Centre Parcs as we had to rebook because of Covid. Distance from amenities led to us changing plans as either had to base our plans around land train timings, or face hike with 2 buggies. Not best of our stays at centre parc over the years, but considering Covid upheavals they have faced, it was ok.

Amazing staff and surroundings, plenty of activities to use, some of which need booking in advance which can be done from a mobile phone app, booking points or at reception in the plaza. Loads of shops and restaurants on site as well as a supermarket.

Monday to Friday, took own bikes and trailer with our toddler age boy. Mostly self catered, the restaurants get quite busy and are not cheap. Had a great time exploring with him, swimming, playgrounds, picking blackberries, seeing deer at breakfast time. Pleasantly surprised by the resort.

Very busy compared to a decade ago. Not enough land trains; people with kids were having to wait for the next one in the baking heat. Pancake house was ok, but no fondue nights any more and no longer is maple syrup available on tables. Can't fish small lakes anymore as they have returned them to a wild state. Restaurants were average. Feels less Scandinavian now.

This place is huge compared with whinfell.

This place is huge compared with whinfell.
Land train is very useful for the less able members of the family.
Very steep walk from sports plaza to hub.
Very beautiful forest (lots of rhododendrons and other flowers, trees / shrubs).
