Appleton Campbell service technician Ronnie came out to conduct a free maintenance estimate for our HVAC system and the installation of our new Nest Pro thermostat. Ronnie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and provided a detailed review of our existing heat pump, furnace, and the thermostat. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them and provided additional information to allow us to make the best decision about how to move forward. Ronnie is the kind of professional you always hope the company sends when you have an expensive A/C or heating problem or question. We ll be making our decision soon but I have to say if Ronnie is an example of Appleton Campbell s service, I m very impressed.

We have used Appleton Campbell for the past year and have been very happy with their service. Ethan came out last week to do inspection on our new unit and was very courteous and professional.

We have enjoyed the services of Appleton Campbell since May, 2005. Their biannual checkups on our furnaces and air conditioners have been most beneficial and have kept things running smoothly. They have also installed two powerful dehumidifying systems in our lower ground floor. They have replaced our gas water heater and installed a tankless water heater for us. Typically our service rep is a gentleman named Ronnie. We have maintained a great relationship and trust with Ronnie and at times when other reps were sent to us for help, the experience was equally positive and appreciated. These service reps know their products, how they should be running, and explain anything done to them.

The service techs were on time professional and did an outstanding job.

Glenn showed up on time and was very professional. He gave us a detailed explanation of his recommendations and was patient with us as we made suggestions.

Appleton Campbell just completed a job at my home. They replaced my entire HVAC system and redesigned the ducting to accommodate the new system. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!
My wife and I are new to the area and found Appleton Campbell's ad in local newspaper, so we were going out on a limb. I did a bit of research and saw that they had great reviews and wonderful comments. After our experience, I understand why they are highly rated.
They crew of technicians that took care of us were Jason K., Jeff H., David F., Michael M., and Jason W. I had the pleasure of meeting their supervisor Travis, who visited the job site a few times to check on me and his team.
Professionalism and ultimate concern for the customer was the best way I could sum up their approach. This company and its employees, should be a model for how to do the job correctly and with care, so that the homeowner is completely satisfied. By far, the best experience I have ever had with a service based company.
I look forward to having them service anything electrical, or plumbing related as well. Total trust!

On 4/2/18, Chris L. performed a system check, and found mold and moisture in our attic as a result of a poor installation of our heat pump done by another company. Chris installed an Air Scrubber, and it has taken care of the problem. He could not have been nicer, or more thorough! He took pictures with his phone of the mold in the attic, and also drew numerous illustrations to help me understand the situation. He even labeled everything in the owner's manual so that it is very clear for us to ensure proper maintenance. We could not be happier with Appleton Campbell. They have the absolute best employees!

The plumbing issues had ganged up on me in my 200-year old house. Two sinks, the washer, and a leak in the upstairs tub. David came right on time and fixed them in under an hour. He solved a decade old leak issue. Shane the electrician was equally competent. I signed up for a plan that has this company only a text away when something goes wrong.

Roger S and Zach W came to my house with smiles and a wonderful attitude. They got to work removing the old furnace and installing the new one. I could hear them "enjoying" their work. They installed the furnace very quickly and explained everything in good detail. If I needed anything else installed, I'd ask for them.
Rodney L came to make all the measurements for the new install and made the original "dead furnace diagnosis". Very knowledgeable and polite. I will request him for service.
Everyone I have worked with was a charm. I regret not knowing about Appleton Campbell beforenow. I won't be calling anyone else for my furnance or air conditioning ever again.

Glenn Griffin and Justin Fox did an amazing job installing my outlet for my electric car. They were fast and efficient and left no debris. Excellent friendly communication regarding arrivals from the office. I would highly recommend using them and would not hesitate to use them again.

Ronnie and Mike continue to provide excellent service for our heating and cooling systems. They are professional, friendly, and pleasant. We look forward to their return each spring and fall. We found out about A-C through a pluming issue at our home. We had recently moved to Culpeper and didn't know who to call. We remembered seeing their trucks and called. The receptionist was so pleasant and had someone at our house quickly. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and respectful to you and your property. They are excellent. We have them take care of all our plumbing, HVAC, etc. because we trust them. If you call them you will be pleased and glad you did.

Very prompt and quick response. Friendly personnel and quick analysis, estimate and repairs! The cost was a little higher than expected though .. but when the AC breaks down every minute is a torture !!

Very professional, competent, and curteous service. Dale Beckett, D3, saved the day when our plumbing backed up and my husband was out of town. He listened to me explain the issue and then spoke with my husband over the phone to verify our plumbing/septic stystem. Afterwards, he isolated the problem quickly. Dale fixed the problem and left my house the way he found it (even remembering to rewinterize an outside faucet he had used before leaving.) Well done Appleton Campell!

My hot water heater stopped producing hot water so I called Renee Davis this morning and within a matter of a couple hours the problem is fixed and the pricing was very affordable.

I was very disappointed with this company. First I was told on the phone that they charged $49 to come out to diagnose my problem. When they got to my house then they told me it was $49 + $223 diagnostic charge. So they took me for over $200+. This company is outrageous. I would not hire this company to do any work for me nor would I recommend them to anyone. AWFUL - RIPOFF

The staff Cody, Shane, cory, were professional. They explained what they were going to do. I felt at ease with the technician who came to do the estimate. Eventhough Appleton was more expensive than all the other estimates that i received, the technician very thorough in explaining what was needed to done in my house, and my decision to go with Appleton was instant. Our heat pump and propane system had become unreliable over the past year. We contacted Appleton Campbell. The technician gave a clear evaluation, based on which we decided to replace the 11 year-old system. Roger, Jeff and Chance, Isiah and Chris did a great job. A major rework of the system was required. I am very pleased with the work.

Ethan Ficklin is the man. Got a different quote 2 hours prior to his arrival $600 dollars higher. He was very respectful of our house and knowledgeable of his trade. Chris was very understanding, when he realized we'd be without heat for 4 days while we waited for a new furnace he ran back to the shop & got us 3 heaters that helped keep us warm.

The technition arrived to do my summer check and promptly put shoe booties on. He explained what he would be checking out. He came back with the report and did suggest extras like duct cleaning with an added cost however he wasn t pushy about it- just suggestions.

David Forney came out today to do our initial inspection and to sign us up for the home savings agreement. He was great and provided us with lots of information, as well as took the time to answer our many questions!

We had a water leak on Sunday, 2/10 around 8PM. We called Appleton Campbell, a technician arrived within an hour to service the leak. The technician was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional with us. A+

About half the outlets in my dining room and kitchen had stopped working, including the one that powered the panel for our security system. Glenn Griffin diagnosed and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes, then charged me a very reasonable price for the visit. Very satisfied with him and with Appleton Campbell. They installed a new heating system last year and it's run without a hitch since.

David was dispatched to our home on one of the coldest nights so far this winter. He arrived pretty quickly after the call to the office and he was very nice and even wore booties to protect my light grey rug. It was an easy fix for him but I was really impressed.

The technician, W.T. Settle, fixed my leaky toilet quickly and effectively. He was friendly, and explained things thoroughly. I will definitely use him again if the need arises.

Appleton Campbell was recommended to us by our oil delivery company for service issues. We had an oil tank that needed replacement, and they came out, provided us with an immediate estimate, and then came at the appointed day and time to replace the tank quickly and efficiently. Roger and Zack were the technicians who did the work, and they were helpful, courteous, and respectful.. We are very pleased and intend to continue using them!

I highly recommend Appleton Campbell company for your needed household services. They have previously perform electrical and heating and air conditioning services at our home here in Manassas, Virginia and they were excellent, efficient and very professional and friendly. Today Friday, March 23, 2018, Jerry and Tyler came by to replace the Ultra Violet light bulb on my Saber Genius unit. Today we had the pleasure of meeting Jerry Harris. Although another company said we needed a new unit the costs were simply too much for our family at the time. Jerry listened to our situation and went through the troubleshooting process to determine if we truly needed a new unit. To make a long story short Jerry identified the issue and fixed our existing unit. Jerry made such a good impression on us that when our unit truly does go out - we are calling him to sell us a new unit.

Appleton Campbell Warrenton VA - We had an emergency - power was out and NOVEC said it was my breaker box. I called Appleton Campbell and they sent Glenn out to my home within 30 minutes and Glenn was fantastic - I highly recommend Glenn and Appleton Campbell for all electrical and plumbing needs. Glenn explained what he was doing every step of the way and showed me the problems and explained the necessary repairs. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.
As it turned out it was NOVEC transformer that was out - Glenn did discover we needed a new circuit breaker and I scheduled the repair appointment. Thank you Appleton Campbell!
