Highly recommend. I used Apple Mortgage for a VA loan to purchase my first house. After calling several possible lenders, Apple Mortgage offered the lowest rate. Ed Cooke and the team there were very helpful answering questions and keeping me informed along the way.

This is the second time I have used Apple Mortgage, but my first time working with Ed and Marilyn. I believe that a mortgage broker does a better job of finding the best rate by shopping my loan to multiple lenders. I was not disappointed by this service from Ed at Apple Mortgage. He was quickly responsive to both my emails and texts, often replying within minutes; never longer than 2 hours. The company has great tools to allow you to do everything from the comfort of your home if you have access to a computer and a scanner. In fact, I didn't get to meet Ed until my closing! I think he did a fabulous job on my mortgage and I know I got a rate much lower than any other local bank, or credit union, I had checked. I highly recommend Apple Mortgage for your mortgage, or refinance, needs.

I was looking to purchase a 4 plex with a VA loan and originally was going through one of the bigger name brand lenders. They were very helpful but I was not too happy with the interest rate that they were quoting for me so i started shopping around and I am glad I found Ed and his team. Originally my agent was a little skeptical since the rates from Apple mortgage were so low but just a few weeks later we got through the appraisal and underwriting with no issues and closed on the property just a few weeks after that with a 2.75% interest rate and nothing out of pocket. I'm glad I took the time to shop around with my rate and will definitely be using Ed and his team on any future properties.

Apple Mortgage was great! Absolutely night and day difference between them and the previous mortgage lender we used. We were told what they needed, signed the paperwork on the dates we both agreed upon, and there were absolutely no issues. We would definitely use them again!

Ed and his team provided seamless and efficient service for our home refinance. Open communication throughout, reactive to our questions and great service. We closed from DC on our house in Denver and all went as planned.

Ed at Apple Mortgage was AMAZING. My husband was passionate about shopping around for the best rate and Ed was the one to make it happen. To top it off, our real estate agent offered a credit at closing and while we were welcome to shop around for our own lender, they had warned that not all lenders would accept or apply the credit properly. Not only did Ed do all of the coordinating with our agent to make sure that we got the full amount due to us, but he was quick to answer any questions we had, whether it was if any other paperwork was needed, how much our first year's payments would be (well before closing, no less), etc. I've always heard that closing on a loan can be difficult, and we weren't sure what to expect. To be honest, between our agent and Ed/the team at Apple Mortgage our experience was far more seamless than we could have imagined, and we were kept up-to-date every step on the way. If we buy another home down the line, we're calling Apple Mortgage first.

I just want to express my passion about Apple mortgage. First the integrity is outstanding, second the information that is needed to go through Lending is overwhelming, but this team made it bearable. what I mean is it was spot-on to the point and seamless to the customer. I refinanced with Apple from a much larger lender and I couldn't be happier. Mr Cooke was very thorough, personable, and professional. Closing costs, rates, prep work, and overall communication through the process was nothing short of phenominal. The process was taking 2-3 months and Apple Mortgage took care of me from start to end in just shy of a month! I can't recommend them enough.

First rate experience -- twice now! I used Apple Mortgage to handle my refinance in 2012. Ed was professional, kept in contact, and made sure things went smoothly. This year I approached my current loan holder to refinance to a lower rate -- they offered .5% lower, with over $3K in closing costs (this for a VA IRRL). I went to Ed, he got me a full 1% lower, with less than half the closing costs. As with the first experience, communication was great, and the process was all on-line, easy, and smooth. One day the closer showed up at my home, we signed the papers, and that was that. Use these guys. Seriously.

Why the 5-Star review for Apple Mortgage and Ed Cooke? Mine was not an easy close. I needed a first mortgage, and a bridge loan since the home I was selling had not yet sold. That meant Ed Cooke had to negotiate to find a lender(s) who would execute two mortgages for me while I had yet another one for which I was responsible. I have a reasonable income for a teacher and a good credit score. I was buying the new place as a widowed woman in her 60's. Not only did Ed Cooke qualify me for the double mortgages, he did so at a 3.7% rate, and that's for a condo. How did he do that? When you work with an established and experienced mortgage broker, they have financial connections left over at the end of the day. I think this is the eighth mortgage and/or refi I've completed with Ed Cooke. I wouldn't use anyone else. His support staff is in constant contact, letting you know your loan status. They are extremely helpful. Ed Cooke is efficient, honest, experienced, and he sincerely cares about his clients.

This is the third time I've done business with Ed at Apple Mortgage and the service is always top notch.

I recently had the pleasure of completing a VA IRRRL refinance with Ed, dealing with him was by far the best loan experience I ve had. Ed was straightforward, knowledgeable, patient, competitive, and most importantly a genuinely kind person.
