Had breakfast at this restaurant. There was no wait. We were seated in the back room. Waitress was friendly. The menu was too many choices. The food selections were very pricey. Food came a little late for my taste and the food temp was cool. It had been waiting as well. Bacon was overcooked, eggs cool, muffin just okay.

OVERALL: Very good food at higher than average prices in a quaint location.

The service and food are very good. Had the Rosemary Fried Chicken stuffed with prosciutto and smoked gouda. It was a boneless chicken breast rolled, stuffed then breaded. It was crispy and moist. The mashed potatoes were homemade and luscious. While very good, it was priced higher than average at $26.

They have a salad bar, but it's not anything special compared to the average salad bar. Again, priced at $16, it's higher than average.

The ambience is very quaint and comfortable. This is what separates this restaurant from the rest, and may justify the higher pricing.

We we're very blessed to find this treasure of an Inn to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary! We wanted to leave the hustle and bustle of life and SLO down for a few days to celebrate our life together. Had heard of the Apple Farm several years back from some friends who would come here regularly, then saw a great Groupon deal and had to try it.
And what a pleasant place this is indeed!! So much nicer and more attentive to detail than any hotel chain we could have picked. We will tell all our friends about this wonderful place and hopefully come back soon!
Room 223 is so charming and we love how the staff adds so many special little touches to everything. The first thing I noticed after taking in the beauty of the room was the Our Daily Bread on the desk - how refreshing! And the sparkling cider and chocolate kisses were a special treat as well as the cookies and hot drinks in the lobby everyday. We love this place!

We stayed overnight in October 20016 one night traveling between San Francisco and Los Angeles through Big Sur and the 1 ... wonderful dream place ... we had dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was plentiful ... huge pancakes! .... the shopping area was already set up for Christmas ... Romantic and charming hotel!

Location was quaint and many items on the menu sounded great. Unfortunately the execution wasn't on par with the establishments reputation. My son ordered his burger medium, but it was quite well done. Tasted quite charred. Another person in our party reported the beef stroganoff was 'tasteless'. Finally, the corn chowder was thick and somewhat congealed like gravy and not creamy. To balance out the negatives, my ribs were tasty enough, and the sweet potato waffle fries were great. My wife also reports that her raviolis were excellent. Lastly, the server was efficient but not very personable and spoke dismissively to one person in our party when he asked how long the order would take.

We were in the Trellis Court. These rooms are right next to the freeway. VERY NOISY! You will not sleep. The refrigerator stuck to high heaven. They added 2 water bottles daily so they had to have smelled it. Bathroom had 2 short black hairs on the wall.

The gal at the motel we were staying at referred us to this restaurant. Breakfast was real good! They had a berry mixture for our biscuits and that was fabulous. I liked the apple sausage and eggs. I wish I lived here so I could go back

Super. Unfortunately only 1 night but room very clean. Great ambience and extremely friendly staff!
Breakfast was excellent but very large portions.
Everything with a lot of love but not too exaggerated. Many handmade in the giftshop. There is also a mill and an outdoor pool. Really nice. For ground floor rooms you have to draw the curtains otherwise you can look into it.
I can only recommend.

Apple Farm is lovely, just lovely. If you're looking for a place to take your parents, in laws or visiting friends this is an excellent choice. The ambiance is inviting and upscale without being pretentious and the food is just plain home style yummy with hunger satisfying sized portions. Our waiter was great. The gardens and patio reminded me of a manor home. The bakery offers temptations that would please most everyone. I plan to return for that reason alone!!

Amazing EVERYTHING.

Amazing EVERYTHING.
Food 5 stars
Gift Shop(S) 5 stars
This is a breathtaking place to visit even if it's just to experience the beauty, scenic property, originality in EVERY SINGLE way, endless possibilities for gifts to get ANYONE- LITERALLY- anyone. There are MULTIPLE floors of merchandise & much is locally harvested or created. I am planning another trip BACK because I didn't see ENOUGH. I am thrilled it exists, the staff is incredible and I hope to be visiting again VERY SOON!

Went here for breakfast. Food was really good. portions big and staff really nice and helpful but not over the top. On holiday from the UK and this was exactly what I expected an American breakfast to be!

We had dinner at their restaurant Christmas evening. The food was absolutely delicious but the service was subpar. I will chalk that up to them working on a holiday though. Would try them again in the future, just not on a holiday.

I went here once and was not very impressed with the food or service. The line was long because its kind of a popular place, but I felt the food was comparable to what youll find at dennys'. The atmosphere was really cool and I know a lot of people that love this place. My suggestion would be to try it yourself and see what you think!

Amazing food and beautiful scenery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. This place is a must to stop for breakfast. I had their Cali omelet and Blueberry muffin that was so mouthwatering with their Boysenberry jam. Their homestyle potatoes are memorable. Yum! There was a little of a wait, but totally worth it. You'll enjoy the time checking out the gift shop and bakery for all the things to take home on the way out. All the baked goods are fresh and from scratch. We take our family picture by the water wheel at the inn everytime we visit. Thank you Apple Farm. See you again soon!

I took my boyfriend out for his birthday to the restaurant. It was an awesome time and the staff was extremely helpful. Shout out to our waiter Chris for being awesome and attentive. We all shared a love for Estero Bay!!

Love at the first sight! I love everything about this hotel! You will see when you first get in their parking lot: there are seasonable plants and flowers meant to enjoy everyone with different colors and perfume. They have a "happy hour" event in a separate building with its own little terrace with old oak trees and more plants, here they serve local wine and hors d'oeuvres. Also when you check in you're welcome to have a glass of local red or white which is complementary as well as their hot apple cider, teas or coffee so you can have a great start of your vacation. There is a cute gift shop on site followed by a country style restaurant with their own bakery- you don't need to leave the property ! I miss this place so bad writing this review right now ...

Had breakfast here, everything was great! Waiter left us and never returned would be my only complaint. Sat around for awhile before finally heading to front to pay. But food wise, the muffin to start was super moist, and both our meals we loved. Check this place out

This place is beautiful and clean. Wonderful decorations for the holidays and very prompt when you need something. Restaurant is good and the rooms come with a fire place. Great for nice romantic trip with your significant other.

Stayed 4 nights, 5 days. Room 100 has direct access to the pool and spa and allows after hours access to both. It may be best to call to make reservations as there are many rooms with differing amenities that they can help you choose from. Cookies provided at check-in where a nice touch. Also of note is the option to receive a $5 credit for user at the restaurant and bakery if you forgo room service for the day. The rooms are a nice large size.

Ate at the restaurant for breakfast. Made reservations and still had to wait for fifteen minutes in the gift shop. They hoped I'd buy something. Didn't.
Finally am seated and I come to find the place isn't even half full. Fully half the tables were available. Even if they didn't have a waitress I could have at least had coffee while waiting.
Never again, I don't like to be treated like cattle.
BTW, the food is nothing special.

Apple Farm = Charm

Apple Farm = Charm

If you want to be delighted by surroundings, friendly and capable staff, yummy meals, great views, then visit Apple Farm.

The inn is very well maintained. Rooms are each uniquely decorated. Our rooms are all immaculate. Beds are comfy and the building fairly quiet. Rooms are a good size so you do not feel cramped.

Dinners and meals are made with care, fresh ingredients and GLUTEN FREE options do exist. They take great care of those with sensitivities and allergies.

Lots of photo ops.

Beautiful lobby, elevator for those in wheels and for luggage transitions. Mild weather. Ideal location near town and freeway. Noise was not an issue for us even being near the 101 freeway.

Gorgeous landscaping. Lots of wine tastings and things for children like story hours, I've cream sundae creating on Sundays, etc.

We feel welcome, safe, cared for, pampered even. Free WiFi and lots of TV and cable channels. The coat is nearby if you need beach time as well. Why watch TV when you can stroll in town and eat out, shop and create memories?

For Catholics, the Mission has two Masses a day at 7am and 12:30. Heaven!

Enjoy your stay!

Let's start with the bathroom, it had a pocket door that offers little privacy, the fan didn't work, the water pressure was low, and our towels were not replaced the next day. We reserved a two queen bed room, but they were actually full size beds and the pillows were stiff. The TV was small and didn't offer much in viewing options. The lamps kept falling over. The refrigerator buzzed all night. The pool is pretty small. I'm only giving this place the third star because the staff is nice. They give you some cookies when you check in, but overall, I don't feel like I got my money's worth.

Great food and OK service, depending on the server. It's just weird that you have to go through the gift shop to get to the restaurant... Eggs Benedict, country fried steak, biscuits and the cinnamon French toast are all good and I would get them all again. They lack in some of the little things like filling up the water and offering condiments, but that depends on the server. Keith is great, but not everyone is like Keith. The goal of the business should be to put rules in place to make it easy for all servers to be like Keith.

A beautiful Hotel. Lots of character. A very warm welcome on arrival with complimentary cookies for the kids and a lovely glass of chilled local Chardonnay for us. A lovely treat. Bedroom is fabulous.
