Great place to visit especially on amateur night which falls on Wednesdays.
Ceejay Craxx killed the comedy night. Much success to you my brother and the other comedians as well. Excellent job
Small and beautiful full of history of African-American music.
We did a top of the bus tour through Harlem and it was cool seeing the Apollo Theater. Our guided tour provided detailed information about the area and it African American roots!
Seats are a bit old and cramped but I do enjoy going to this iconic theater
My friend and his family invited us here and we watched this musical, really cool performance. This is arguably one of the beat theater's in NYC along with Broadway.
already made the portfolio the diploma would have already made the third partition in the show time of the Apollo
A legendary please everyone should visit. So much culture!!
It was crazy going passed the Apollo wish i was able to visit again and go inside.
I Had SUCH A HIGH Time Enjoying APOLLO LIVE WIRE:. She's A REBEL. 11.14.19
Awesome experience from the host to the contestants and the audience was totally amazing...GREAT VENUE
Home of mini favorite African American singers and comedians
My first time at the Apollo Theater was pretty great. I was here for the All-Star Tribute to Don Rickles. I am not sure how the venue is normally, but it was pretty nice for this special event. I think they ripped out all the ground floor seats and put tables for the celebrities. The venue was clean. My seat was in the Upper Mezzanine and you could see the stage and performers perfectly and clearly. I would come back to this venue if the entertainer was good. Its just annoying to trek all the way up in Harlem.
Went to visit the gift shop. The staff was super nice.
One of the most disgusting and smelly theaters I've ever seen. As soon as you enter it seems to be in a toilet and the actors just suck
The culture of this place is unreal! Must come see in person!
If you have the chance to spend a Wednesday do not miss an evening be good or be gone! The atmosphere is fabulous!
Harlem...Un quartiere di grande impatto emotivo. Assolutamente da visitare una volta arrivati nella grande mela! Obbligo uno stop all Apollo theater e per chi ha tempo magari assistere a qualche esibizione.
Here jazz was born and the best American singers and musicians performed, you could not miss it
It's an amazing, landmark. Great memories for me. I was raised rite around the corner from the apollo.
Had a great time with sone laughs. Heard some wonderful young talent. Others should have stayed home. I applaud all who tried. Amateur Night at the Apollo is a must when in NYC and in Harlem. Great history there.
Amateur Night at the Apollo is a bucket list experience. I got to get up on stage during the intermission dance party. I got to dance with the spirits of James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Redd Foxx and more.
I hope the theater can make it yhrough the gentrification.
Attended Soundstage '63, a Black History Month celebration of those of African diaspora. Terrific experience attended by people of all ethnicities.
The premiere of "GODFATHER OF HARLEM" was more than I expected. The first episode is excellent, I cant wait to see the entire series after it premieres on the epix channel..Technically, I gave the whole ambiance, the performance of swizz beatz, rick ross & asap ferg a 5 out of 5, but the apollo seats are terrible. My legs are too long for those tight and narrow seats
Definitely enjoyed myself at the famous Apollo Theater !!!
We went there to see Amateur Night and had fun but it's actually much more amateur than I expected.
You really want to avoid the Upper Mezzanine as your view will really be partially obstructed both by the person in front of you and by the mezzanine itself since the action happens a lot at the front of the scene.
We went to amateur night and wow, atmosphere is electric. Very welcoming, the hosts, staff, and crowd were amazing. Very fun night and would highly recommend to anyone visiting NYC.
Very nice and traditional, I was not allowed to enter the room
Great entertainment... Especially for the family....
The man in charge was funny and great. Went for a tour and it was so enjoyable.
The legendary theater that has hosted famous African American musicians in Harlem.
The only Italian to perform was PINO DANIELE
Historical place, but from outside there is little to see ..
I went to see Ginuwine and Donell Jones! The show was AMAZING!
Amateur Night was amazing. Almost all the performances were good and the host and his team were really fun and engaging.
Good security, good customer service, nice venue, nice decor and a good space for shows. Apollo Achicken
World famous for a reason. Beautiful and historic theater, host to world famous entertainment for decades
A music culture meeting place since 1914 for African Americans in Harlen NEW York
One of those legendary music stages and theaters that left a truly lasting impression on us.
There's just something like that in NY CITY.
Great idea, super friendly service.
An unimaginable mood.
Great show, It's always a pleasure going to Harlem's best landmark!
Still celebrating my birthday we took the bus tour and went to lunch at Sylvia's in Harlem.
Nice Theatre to visit. The sound was extremely loud and was difficult to hear the host.
