Great. And the comedy show I saw was excellent. Drinks where okay as well.

Great experience at amateur night. Only negative is the length of time it took to get out of the theater once the show is over.

I was fun, but the show was toooo long. It was about 3 hours and the drinks were watered down. I was not happy about that. Overall, the show was lovely and the music made me pumped.

One of the highlights of our trip. Go for the talent night, was such an amazing experience. The Dj, crowd and venue are all amazing.

The Apollo is awesome we enjoyed amateur night we were way up in the balcony but the drinks were good the staff was very courteous and nice and I do look forward to going again

This iconic venue didn't disapoint!!! I was blown away by performances by Snoop Dogg, Flo Rida, and Boyz ll Men!!!! Amazing!!!!!

A legendary concert house in the heart of Harlem, the Apollo Theater has featured some of the greatest artist in jazz, blues, funk, soul and hip hop. The accoustics are good, and the feeling intimate. A good place to experience music. There is also a gift shop, and outside you can get a glimpse of all the greats who have performed here. A historic place with a lot of good vibes.

What more can I say that hasn't been said? When in NY well worth the visit!

Nice piece of history, a shame the tours are expensive for a duration of only one hour. Better buy tickets for a show to see the interior.

I was here for the Read Live show. The show was awesome but the staff all had attitudes.

You can still feel the energy of the talented performers from the past exuding from the walls of the theater, its stage and dressing rooms.

I'm not going to see the live, so just the appearance.

I had an amazing experience at the Apollo on Tuesday night. I saw the Big Sean Iheartradio by Verizon concert. Best night I had out all month.

Showtime at the Apollo is amazing. I have had the honor of performing therea few years ago. I was a young girl so no booing occurred but any who. It's amazing to see it back in such a great way. The place still looks great. The crowed is definetly more mixed now a days and to say that it's vicious if you don't do well is an understatement. Steve Harvey turned this out. Let's hope it gets picked up by Fox

The O'Jays concert was amazing. The acoustic are great. I don't think there is a bad seat in the theater

Had a fun time at amateur night, plenty of potential talent and a few who should never be let near a stage again. The theatre made sure we were well entertained in either case. Venue is quite historic and famous. Glad I was able to see it in person.

Love the Apollo. Can never get enough. I go once a year at least to see Amateur Night. It's amazing! It's the Iconic Apollo theatre. I won't describe it to you. All I will say is once you see it...

Rich in history, this evening's performance did not let us down. High energy, great lights and acoustics.

Temple of Black Music a must see tour to Harlen to meet him

This historic center of Harlem culture sits right on 125th Street. The gift shop is open even when there is not a performance. A great place to pick up Harlem souvenirs. Amateur night is Wednesday night. There are plaques in the sidewalk outside of famous performers.

Very entertaining!!! Worth the trip. 4 of 5 stars due to lack of service at the gift counter upon leaving.

Its the Apollo theater. So historic 5 stars hands down. You can't pull the hook on the Apollo .

I've been watching an amateur night. Tickets aren't too expensive, so if you're planning to go there, we recommend the Amateur Night on Wednesdays. The seats were full and the heat was amazing. By the way, when I went, some Japanese people happened to be there. If booing is terrible, you will be sent off and the tap dancer will dance and become the next person.
On the day I went, there were about three people in a row being sent out by booing (^ _ ^;)
It is divided into a children's section and an adult section,
There are comedians, songs and dances.
Win / loss depends on the cheers of the audience.
