Went for a Melissa etheridge concert. Great acoustics and great ambiance!

I visited the Apollo Theater to see Conan live. The whole theater staff was friendly. I was able to find my seat easily with the help of an usher. It's really beautiful here. I would definitely visit here again.

The worst place to see shows. Lots of seats on the 2nd floor have no views and the theater management claims it's the point of sale issue. Not sure how they think they are part the problem? I was extremely disappointed by the answers from Apollo theater.

This places has so much history, first of all! Second it was so much fun and laughed more than I could have expected. Tickets were at a great price (~30) and alcoholic drinks were under $10. Capone (the host) was hilarious and kept us laughing throughout the show! It was neat to see real talent from around the country preform for us. I would recommend coming to a show and amateur night if you want a good laugh and an enjoyable time with a great band!

Don't like the way this venue has change to one that seem not to want to cater to the Black community at all anymore.

So much history here. Want a peak backstage? See the pics. Did you know the Apollo started as a burlesque house in 1913? Sincw then it has become world famous for showcasing talent, established and new.

I have watched Showtime at the Apollo and Amateur night at the Apollo ever since I was young and always dreamt of coming to Harlem to be a part of history. I got my chance. I love Harlem.

I didn't get a chance to go to the Apollo, but went to eat at red lobster food was a 6 out of 10. Then went to Magic Jonhson theater the movie is going down hill fast the staff is walking around on their cell phone they burned my pizza and I missed the first part of te movie. I willbe taking my business back to the lower part of Manhattan

Saw Chris Tucker here and thought the place was amazing. So many stars and celebs were discovered and performed here. So much history, and in such a vibrant part of town. Check out amateur night at the Apollo. Very Very cool!

The seating is tight and the snacks are to damn expensive. However being able to say you have been the Apollo Theater is worth the 4 stars I guess.

Came here the other night to see Andrew Santiago for comedy night. This was hands down one of the best comedy nights I've been to in SD. Super chill, no minimum, and top level talent. I for sure will be coming back for comedy shows here.

Apollo Theater is a historic landmark in the heart of Harlem located on 125th st. in New York City. The live stage performances consisted of legendary singers and actors. Apollo theater was also known to conduct Amateur Night. During this Amateur night event many famous people received their start from the vote of the audience.

Small and tight seating. Drinks too expensive and watered down so make sure you pre-game. Went to so Fabolous perform. Great show.

Drove by this historic landmark in Harlem. Wish I had time for a visit.

How do they run out of programs for their shows? I know I was a little late but still. And why was my bag searched(withouy my consent or me being present) while in bag check!? Not cool at all.

.. because it goes way back in my days and it's always always been a landmark I love the Apollo Theater it's always been a place where you feel comfortable and you can enjoy entertainment

The Fantasia show was phenomenal, the crowd was warm and the ushers were helpful and accommodating.

The symbolic theater of jazz! To be seen absolutely!

Apollo is NYC and everyone who is anyone loves stopping by. We were in the presence of greatness with Ava Duvernay, the cast of "when they see us" and the 5 men who the movie was about and Oprah. The only downside was I was outside of theatre since 3pm but they put the people who arrived early in the upperdecks of the theatre near the ceiling and the late comers got better seats. First & Last time at the Apollo.

I love it ! Can't beat it . Nice security, decent priced drinks for the location , and amazing venue. One thing I would say is I wish the seats were updated with cup holders haha .

It is always a pleasure to visit the Apollo Theater and today was especially special as the Christmas season and spirit filled the air.

watch "talent show" performances in the glowing atmosphere of Harlem! Unique experience!

My Favorite theater in NY . Price is high , but it worth. They have really good performance andfood and drinks.:)

What a great history here in Harlem the theater is the hub of it all..

This historic theater is beautiful and able to inspire awe in anyone who enters. I would love to give it five stars but the ladies room on the second floor is terribly narrow. Barely enough room to turn around without brushing the toilet, and contains only 2 stalls (yikes). I suggest the first floor facilities, if one is available. I've only been here once before, and never thought to try the first floor.
The rows of seats are narrow (but soft), so the long legged need to be prepared. There's a bar in the ipper balcony area. Staff is polite and helpful. Plus is the souvenir counter near the entrance. A lot of different acts are drawn to the "world famous Apollo Theater" i.e. Duran Duran played a concert 2 years ago and ithat was my first visit.

First time and enjoyed every minute of it even during the snow storm

Wednesday night, amateur night, gives the chance for local talent to display their skills. And you'll know they're local because most of the contingents will be family and friends.

I have not come to enter but knowing that here was made known to Michael Jackson and is worth visiting.

I attended top dog and the talent was mind blowing. The youth that competed that night was fantastic. It was very hard to choose just one winner. The adult performance we're just as equally talented. There is no bad seat in the house. This was my first time and I will return again in the future.
