Why do I have to be patted down and wanted to see a violin concert. Didn't happen on Broadway,or at the Beacon. Just sad.

It's a part of history that I think is definitely worth a visit when in NY. There are some really nice places to go eat near it. It can be a little congested at times though.

Hyped DJ, awesome performances, everything I expected it to be. A highlight of my girls trip to NYC to celebrate Lisa's birthday!

Apollo is a legendery place. It is always a pleasure to enter those doors.

History in front of you... who doesn't like the this place

One of the most fun shows in nyc! We were sitting at the lower balcony and got a very good view. Don t carry too many stuff with you cause the sits are very small + you need to be able to move around and shake your body during the show :D

The temple of New York music where he gave life to many characters become famous, it's a shame not to be able to visit only permission entered the hall and no photos, a little 'little.

Exciting Amateur's Night, must visit!
Security check took longer than 1 hour, unfortunately the Show had already startet, when we came in

Apollo Night! It was so much fun! There is a pre- party for the audience and then there is are the kids showcase and then adults. It ended up being a total of 3hr long and only for $30 each. This was truly one of the highlights of my NYC.
Only on Wednesday Nights!

Luxury, the care provided for me, a person with disabilities; it was excellent! I can not be better. On my next visit to this city it is a must stop. I am very grateful for the pleasant experience.

A historical place! I use to see a few amateur acts here when I was a kid. AMazing acts have made it here, and it's wonderful that such an institution has maintain its reputation and its decor for so many years.

Loved coming here as a kid! Talent Night was the best shows. I met The Rock and Monique and the Apollo. This is truly a Harlem landmark.

The rap concert of legends was just that..legendary and the new sound system was crisp...

Good vibes. MC was corny. I think people laughed because they thought they had to. Sand man should have shuffled his weak ass off the stage.

To be fair I worked at the theater for close to 2 years. I would recommend it if you are visiting New York City and pass by Harlem.

The past couple of years, there's been a huge donation which has restored the theater. A lot of current artists have performed there and it only gets better for the theater.

Very famous theater , a lot of people come here . It's always packed.

Incredible! Dont't think twice about going, just go! Been there for Amateur Comedy Night and what a blast. Alone the way the host interacted with the audience made it a lifetime memory way better than anything I have seen on broadway.

World famous! If ever in Harlem, you must stop here and embrace the greatness of what the Apollo is.

I spent money in the gift shop, and they wouldn't give a patron the courtesy of a restroom visit. They sent patrons to Red Lobster, they were accommodating. Tour guide on vacation for two weeks = no tours = not informed before arrival. Sidewalk was cool though.

How phenomenal to be there, the comedy club was great and the atmosphere was legendary!

The seats are a bit small but the fantastic entertainment at the Apollo makes you forget the less than optimal seats.
