Despite the covid measures implemented / instituted by the Apenhul, it was extremely busy. You get an entrance lock of half an hour, but before you entered the entrance, the next time slot reappeared. A negative point for me. Nice super nice park, but again thanks to the covid measures few stray monkeys, also understandable, but be honest to report this before buying the tickets.

In itself a beautiful park with a good view of all animals. Unfortunately too busy, so we had to leave the park too soon. There is visibly a lot of staff, but they don't seem to do anything about crowd control.
Very NOT clearly indicated promo* for afternoon only in the park, despite what your response might be. Supposedly the park was full, but once there, totally empty because of the rain. All monkeys besides the indoor ones were out of site. *excluding several days for the autumn holiday, which isn't even an exact date agreed on nationwide....
The park is beautiful, finishing of buildings, paths and all other things very beautiful. Only it was a little disappointing how little the animals do. There are only 2 types of monkeys that really come to you. The rest is often a bit lifeless for them to stare out. The waiting times at the catering industry were also very long. We only ate at 3 o'clock. Because the waiting time was only 20 minutes. We get something everywhere, only if I ever come here. I take all my food with me. That saves a lot of irritation
Everything has been thought of to please the guests. Friendly and attentive staff, clean paths, beautiful route through the park, good variety with play areas and catering facilities. We had a great day with the granddaughter of 4.
I don't go to zoos as a matter of principle because animals should not be caught, I make an exception for Apenheul, they have it (much) better than we do. Nice, very well cared for and cared for the animals. Nice day out!
DO NOT GO THERE IN THIS PERIOD. The park allows far too many people, which means that everyone comes to stand on top of each other en masse, and you also have many foreign tourists who do not comply with the 1.50 standard at all. In addition, many attractions are also closed in the park.
Way too expensive to visit in corona time. Most of the places where you normally meet the monkeys were not accessible. In itself quite understandable, but it would be nice to adjust the price accordingly.
Another great experience. How wonderful is this beautiful park in Apeldoorn. Upon arrival in Apeldoorn you can park your car in a large, easily accessible area at the entrance to Apenheul. You still have to walk quite a bit to the actual park. But this piece is so fantastically beautiful and so well maintained. Almost worth a visit alone. Then you arrive in the actual park. This is so great for young and old. I have not detected a moment of discomfort with the many types of monkeys. You see everything if you follow the well-indicated route with lots of info on beautiful photo posters. Along the way many rest options also for a snack and a drink. The employees are helpful everywhere and provide solicited and expert explanations and information. There are many educational activities for the children. In short, a park for a super day for the whole family. The park is clean, but the toilets could use soapy water more often. Everything is easily accessible for wheelchair, walker and pram user.
Very nice animal park, it is possible to approach the monkeys. The infrastructures are very beautiful and the park is suitable for children of all ages.
Beautifully landscaped zoo, but it has not yet landed here that we are dealing with a virus, it was really far too busy here. Trade above safety unfortunately.
Very nice setup. Squirrel monkeys at the start certainly my favorite. Mainly because it all comes close, and you can't just watch from a distance. Had a wonderful day.
Nice zoo with alternating monkeys and playgrounds for children. You can see the monkeys well almost everywhere. Sometimes you have to search. Stays are very beautiful and natural. I personally find a small disadvantage that keeping monkeys alone can make it a bit boring at some point. Great zoo where you can enjoy yourself for a day
Horeca bad, ordering pizza from dominoes is faster, organic mayonnaise from Remia looks like snot and is not to eat, fries not great and croquette also mediocre.
Visit to the Apenheul today was very satisfactory. The park is beautiful and very entertaining to see the monkeys busy. Also very instructive in a pleasant way. Seems especially unforgettable for families with small children to do, but we have great fun as adults. Recommended!
A beautiful park to take the kids on a fun day out. The parking area is about 500 metres from the entrance, so be prepared for a little walk to start with, but the park is beautiful and there are fun signs along the way. The park itself is layed out with a lot of care. There are many areas where you can walk through parts where the monkeys roam freely and you can get really close to them. We loved the whole experience and the kids even more so. Another big positive point about this park is that the food options were limited but more healthy compared to other parks we visited whilst we were in Holland, this surprised us in a positive way, also because it tasted really good. Out of the 4 parks we visited in 5 days, we had the best lunch at this one. The staff were also really friendly, approachable and talkative, you don't encounter that everywhere you go, so another really positive point for this park.
It was really fun. The highlight of the day were the gorilla's. Be sure to check on when they will be fed on the map and arrive atleast a half hour before the show starts to avoid being dissapointed. Because of corona there are some areas that are off limits so that's why it isnt a 5 star. But its definitely a fun place to be full of monkeys
The Apenheul is a fantastic place to experience, especially due to the stray little monkeys. There is a lot of information about the animals and the staff are friendly. But on the other hand it can be very busy; dozens of people for one monkey. That takes the charm off. Certainly because you can only walk in 1 direction; you follow a path instead of that you decide where you are going. We recommend going on weekdays, best if the weather is "mwuah".
Nice and cozy park. Nice to read the signs that give you more information about how the animals live and also show that there is clearly a great passion for the monkeys.
Beautiful park to see different monkey species. Immediately upon entering you immediately meet small monkeys that run loose and possibly come to you curiously. There are also shows that are instructive and fun. A beautiful park to have been once. There are many outdoor activities that are best for good weather.
I recommend everyone to wait to go to Apenheul until after the corona time. There were not many monkeys to be seen now, all kinds of places were closed so that you walked exactly through an empty park. We were very disappointed. Luckily we hadn't driven there especially, we were there in Apeldoorn on a mini vacation. It was a great disappointment to us. Sorry for the money.
