Came here for our nieces show! Did not have tickets but the staff were very sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. Very impressed with how they handled all of the people and the fast reaction to a sold out show. We were able to sit together and even though we sat in fold out chairs we had a great time.
Cute little spot in downtown Antioch. My daughter had her winter recital performance here. Nice stage we had a good time.
I went here for a musical performance, but this review is about the theater specifically. First, the people who work there are wonderful. The Manager is amazing, the staff attentive, the bathroom facilities clean and wonderful. However, the actual seats in the theater are....small. very narrow, a s very low to the ground, which dramatically affected my ability to enjoy the show. I'm not exaggwrating when I say the seats are literally the size of cheap airplane seats. If you're a fellow fat-bottom girl, this theater will not make your world go round. I am also a shorty (5'5") and my knees were hitting the back of the seat in front of me. I don't know if this theater was built in the days when the average person was of smaller vertical and horizontal stature, but be warned. Wear very comfortable clothes (just like a plane) and be prepared to walk the aisles and have others walk the aisle (just like a plane).
First time visiting this theatre. The seats were great and there was plenty of leg room. We went and saw the Top Shelf Classics and had so much fun! I would recommend this theatre to everyone. After seeing what they have scheduled for upcoming events they definitely cater to all tastes.
Nostalgia time at a nd around this vintage theater on the shores of the Delta in Antioch CA... Today James Clark was Elvis in tribute... check out the other unspoiled surroundings, picnic on the water, etc... Check out the the old Riverfront bar and restaurant just a few hundred feet away
Historic Theatre is a lovely little gem in Antioch. Seating in the Orchestra seats is comfortable and accessible. However there are no elevators and seating in the Loge and Balcony seats is cramped and tight at best. Anyone over 5'5" will have to sit sideways as there is no room for longer legs and their knees will be knocking the person in front of them in the back of the head.
Best of its kind. Restored 1928 vaudeville theatre featuring live performances, children's theatre, senior theatre and monthly foreign film series.
Great old theater. Saw the Nutcracker here with friends and enjoyed the performance and vibe of the theater.
I love this old theater in Antioch right on the water!! I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the parking!
