beautiful and cozy spot, very special and exclusive, ate saltimbocca alla romana, delicious. Friendly and attentive staff.

Normally all restaurants are to be avoided in the Tourist Triangle around the Spanish Steps. This is one of the exceptions... it is a truly beautiful bar that could be dropped into any Metropolitan city in the world and fit right in.
It's almost like a high-end version of a sports bar with a simple menu, featuring all the classics... full bar and beer and wine with TVs always showing some type of sporting event. It's open late, including the kitchen which is open at least until midnight daily. The food is better than most "bar food" but it's the bar here that really is the draw.
I also want to point out the service experienced at the bar was world class... everyone wanted to give five star customer service even in a casual environment.
Nice place. Very fast service that suggests pre-cooked dishes, however discreet. Prices a bit high for the quality.
They are unfamiliar with children, there is no changing table and, "for hygienic reasons", they did not allow us to put 2 chairs next to us so that we could change our child.
All in all not recommended ...
Very fast, very fast. But neither is there, nor is it a restaurant: a carpenter, a nude rabbit full of bits, is pretty, but it's a television that has been awakened by Lady GaGa. Limoncello does not give up at the end.
Amazing sandwiches bar and wine bar. Best place to visit for lunch. Recommended by locals.
Beware bandits !!! The only Rome shop, but also the whole of Italy we visited, which add up to 10% in the account and when you complain about the extra charge, they say to you that it is "service". It was a shame, because it was a beautiful shop before. The fact that many locals, not only tourists, is visiting it, says something.
The food was delicious! The service very good, and great vibe
The worst. Normal prices but awful food. Sorry guyz
It's okay. The pasta very good. Correct staff. It can be repeated.
Decent selection of Moretti beers. Food was decent for a place which is more of a wine bar than a restaurant. Excellent service.
Good service, very good food, very nice staff and excelent english. Very good free wi-fi.
Very good food, but expensive price, they charge you for service even if they don't bring bread and puts it on. The service is very slow and the place is very cold.
Cozy and lively wine bar where you can also eat grandiose. Their pizzas, for example, can rival the better ones in Rome. I visit Rome regularly and always pay a few visits to Antica Enoteca. Unfortunately a football game was watched last Sunday and it was packed so we had to look for another restaurant. That was a pity. Returned the day after and there was no football this time. We could sit down right away. Delicious Rigatoni all 'Amatriciana eaten. The wines were again excellent. There was a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We ended the evening with an excellent tiramisu.
The place is just ok. Bad service, rude, aggressive, late,. ..
Delicious Italian food in a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff continues to be very attentive. I especially like the Parmesan Eggplant! I get it every time. The tiramisu is yummy!
Surprisingly peaceful considering the location. We had to sit at a specific table, rather than the one we wanted which was slightly odd, but the food and service were perfectly fine. Definitely a place to visit after slogging through the crowd at the Spanish Steps
Recommended for atmosphere and food. The service attentive and somewhat displicent.
Good location, with tables outside, friendly service, but the food and wine are rather expensive and nothing special.
Lovely place to eat, food was delicious! We were served by constantino, he was very attentive and displayed great customer service, always checking on us, making sure the food was what we expected.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Will be back for sure :)
Average to bad food. Poor service, had to wait half an hour before you could order. They just don't have enough staff to handle the amount of people going there.
I would avoid next time
Freshly paid, AL BANCO: 2 euros for a water carafe requested as an accompaniment to 2euro and 5euro to bitter coffees. Total for 5 coffees and 4 bitters: 34 euros. Daje!
Service was excellent! Staff was very helpfull and skilled.
We ate here two nights in a row. Food and service were both excellent!!
Excellent attention and magnificent atmosphere. We went for wine, we followed the recommendation of the waiter who treated us very well and on the day we decided to repeat the place for its quality and attention.
Had a great late night dinner with the Antipasto app of meats, cheeses and roasted veggies for two. It went great with our wine and was reasonably priced. Staff spoke English well and were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. A lot of locals and groups also were accommodated.
Bad, grumpy service and average wine. I think there are much better places nearby
Bad aperitif if it can be called such, 1 slice of cooked ham and two hard bruschetta for 12 euros to avoid like the plague
My favourite enoteca in Rome and used to be a regular when I lived there. Lovely wines, great food and always friendly service. Definitely recommended.
Very cozy bar. Perfect for a glass of wine. The sausage / cheese platters looked very good too (but we had none). The prices are a bit higher. The staff was very friendly.
A very stylish restaurant with decent food but below par service. I won't count the parts the waiters got wrong.
I came here because everything around was full and 4* are not that bad. Was a disaster.. Completely confused staff, took away our second plates because they forgot I was with my sister who left to the restroom. I got wrong order, sent it back.. as a result my sister finished her food, till mine came.. Nobody apologized, nodoby asked if food was ok. ppl near us ordered before us and didnt get their food till we left .. DONT GO THERE! ps. gnoccis are supermarket quality
I really loved this place from the moment I walked in. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff with traditional dish menu. Reasonable prices too ! Apparently it opened it 1726 so they know how to do food!
A good place to have a drink as an aperitif. The cheese selection is prepared right behind the bar. The atmosphere is atypical and bartenders are nice and lots of proposals.
The food is good. It is a different place compared to other ones in via de la crocce. Worrh visiting
The average food is bad for the area in which it is and the price they order.
Great, restaurant and bar, the food is excellent first class service :-) only to be recommended.
I was there at lunchtime, from the menu of the day I had the Barolo fillet with mashed potatoes and I tasted the 4 cheese gnocchi, all very good. Really nice setting, really nice staff. I will definitely be back!
good cocktails. service is ok. prices are average. nice location in a small lane, quiet enough to chill and people watch
Magnificent bar, you can eat very good regional dishes. Right in the center of Rome
Used for dinner
I was alone, but I was happy to guide you
The atmosphere was of course good, and if it was nice I could spend some time
Horrible the amatriciana and the cacio e pepe. How to insult Roman cuisine at off-market prices.
Perfect respite after our day of exploration. Great wine list
Friendly staff and good wines. Menu for eating a little too touristic, as on the other hand the whole furniture of the premises, and price altini.
Friendly staff and good place to have a drink or food
Awesome food and a great selection of wine.. speak English.
Always one of my favorite places in the Piazza di Spagna
Bottles of mineral water already open arrive at the table. The taste is unpleasant and does not look like mineral water at all. To think wrong then is a moment and one wonders if they are not filled with running More
Food was not fresh. Service was ok, rushed. It obviously doesn't deserve the 4 stars it currently has.
This place has a great old vibe - it feels like it's been around forever. We enjoyed the antipasti plate, a pizza and an outstanding ravioli with porcini. After some so-so pizzas and pastas during our week in Rome, this felt like the real deal at last.
I am writing my review related to the fact that i had left my wallet on the table after stopping by for a drink. 10 min later when I realised that my wallet was not in my bag I returned back hoping to find it. Indeed the waiter remembered me, confirmed that they have found it and have already put it aside for me should i get back. Thank you so, so much!!!
Very bad experience. They had a pasta special listed at the door to attach customers without the price. I asked one the the guys how much it was, he told me $15. Euros. When the bill came , they charged me $25. Euros. Get your wallet ready to be ripped out of you if you go to this place! A tourist trap for sure !
Had the Fettuccine with pancetta, shrimp and tomato. Delicious!!
Nice wine list, we stopped there for a very improvised aperitif and we enjoyed their mouths for a price quite acceptable (10 per person). The staff are very welcoming and helpful, a place I recommend
Wine is not bad and carbonara on the roma, but the addition is salty
Sharing pizza is not allowed! - Which is annoying. Toilets are dirty. It took forever getting the menu, ordering, getting the bill and paying. Food is good.
Well crafted cocktails. But the service wasnt great - bad beer pouring and bad attention to the customers.
Closed on Tuesdays. Nothing in their web site. Walked there for nothing.
Wonderful restaurant Excellent service.
I will definitely return
I have been reading the reviews after having dinner at this place, I don't usually write opinions but I found myself so scammed that I tell you about my experience. The worst meal of my stay in Rome, very expensive for what they offered and they charged me 7 for each bottle of tap water - unfiltered, which was specified in mind - which we also did not order. I recommend you pass by, that in Rome you eat very well in many places
Tourist trap. Sky high prices and poor food. Very rude cashier.
Go here for the wine, the service, but definitely not the food.
What other restaurant in Rome makes a pizza margarita that a 6 year old won't eat and a spaghetti Bolognese that neither my wife nor her mom could stomach more than 3 bites? The service was attentive, and the atmosphere decent, but need to hire a new kitchen staff.
Really nice cheese and their signature martini with berries is a must!
Magical place, ancient and refined, spectacular cuisine
Very welcoming place in a street adjacent to the splendid Piazza di Spagna. Large selection of wines and friendly and helpful staff.
Amazing!!!! Referred by Giada DeLaurentis via Twitter awesome food stupendous staff! It was great, better than great!
Friendly and helpful staff.
Good dishes and normal portions. Good pizza.
Average prices in the area
Very nice little restaurant bar and excellent pizzas
Nice place, excelent ubication but it hasnt good atention
Great location in Spagna's wife. Roman atmosphere and friendly service.
