Mya (I don t know actual spelling) was knowledgeable and helpful. She was very willing to assist and answer any questions. The store has everything a pet owner could want. There also were many animals. This will be my new go to place.

This is by far the BEST pet store I've ever been in. Cody is very knowledgeable and EXTREMELY CARING when it comes to your pet. He pretty much restored the health of my 2-lb chihauhau who was losing weight and not eating anything for 3 days, and vomitting. He gave me raw-food samples to give her and SHE LOVED them! She is running around the house full of energy and getting stronger with each day. I will be back to buy the big bags if this food. Thank you so much, Cody!! You are our hero!

Love this place although I had some issues with how they have certain animals living. They are sanitary and well kept pens and cages clean and smelly. Lol

Your going to get a wide selection of products here, including exotic pets and supplies. The staff is friendly and helpful but they can get pretty busy at times because this is a popular destination for pet lovers.

I would strongly advise against purchasing live animals from here, specifically their reptiles and tarantulas. In the past few months of visiting the store to buy feeder insects, i ve witnessed 3 different tarantulas die in their care and some with missing legs or shriveled abdomens. As a tarantula hobbyist it s very difficult to see over priced tarantulas (and reptiles) in very poor conditions knowing that purchasing them to save them from this would in turn give Animal House the incentive to continue this horrible cycle. Please go to reputable exotic pet stores such as Pinellas County Reptiles or Fins and Skins instead of Animal House. :(

They have the best variety of animals in Saint Petersburg. Alicia is the best, followed by Militia, Shelley. Excellent service, they answered all our questions and we could buy our turtles and all equipment necessary at a reasonable price. We are greatful and happy.

Brought my son here today to check out all the critters. The staff was very kind and more than happy to help. My son got to hold one of the ball pythons, it made his day! Prices are on point and the store is super clean!

This is an amazing place. From birds, to cats, to reptiles, to everything else under the sun. A lot of fun to take the family and most of the animals can be played with. Too much fun!

While I was stuck on crutches, the entire staff was incredibly accommodating. They carried huge bags of dog food from the shelf to the register for me, and even out to my car!

Their selection of pet food is fantastic, ranging from frozen raw food to high grade dry food. Would recommend to anyone looking to support local business and receive superb service.

It's hard to find staff to answer questions because they are always busy, but it's a great smaller pet store if you want to stay away from the bigger, impersonal chain pet stores.

I have been going there since I was a small kid, but the service I received today was very bad. No one greeted me at all, and when I went to try to get a fish I needed everyone acted like they didn't even see me! And when I asked a lady she said those are hard to get and walked away. I had to find and ask for someone to please help me. And even then she acted like I was bothering her!! I'm so sorry for trying to get a fish!! This place isnt great on customer service!

One of the few family pet stores left. Play friendly parrot, Good variety of pets and a great selection of products. Crowded and busy but it's my own fault cuz I went there during the most trafficked time. They will most likely have what you need!

This is basically the best pet store in all of Florida! Locally owned and operated, the staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Looking for a pet? They got 'em! Looking for pet food? They have that! Looking for advice? They have that too! There is so much variety here, you would think that it was a big box store, but it isn't.....Did I say local? They have lots of animals that you can touch or pet which is great for the kids, and parents too. They are also very community minded and offer various services or events throughout the year. Just took my dog there for a doggie bath last week! I'll definitely be back!!

Probably the ONLY pet shop I would ever rate 5 stars. They take such good care of their animals. They are healthy and socialized and not treated like items to sell. They are also very helpful to customers.

I called asking if you have a comfy collar for my dog, and instead the person who answered the phone seemed very judgmental, telling me to use Benadryl etc. After informing the person that I have already taken my dog to the vet (who recommended using a cone or e-collar) this person still was recommending things I should ask my vet for. When I call a pet supply store, I am not asking for veterinary advice. That is what my veterinarian is for. That is why we paid them over $200 for different medications, a special shampoo, and steroid shots. I did not appreciate the judgmental tone and unsolicited advice from the store associate. After a customer says they already took their pet to their vet, they should have just answered the question of whether or not you had the comfy cone in stock, which you did not. So thanks for wasting my time as well. They clerk could have just said "no, we don't have that in stock" instead of interrogating me about things that I have already spoken with an actual veterinarian about...
