The care given to my bird dogs is top notch each time we visit whether it is for a wellness check, dental cleaning, or otherwise. I never have felt rushed with an appointment and Dr. Shawn is unbelievably caring to my canines as well as the surgical team and his assistant Allie. He always answers any questions with a great deal of compassion and I will continue to travel 45 minutes to take my dogs there to receive the very best top notch of care.

Been taking my dogs here for two years now. We see Dr. Brooke James and have also seen Dr. Quint, and we love them both. both are straight shooters. they are not the type of place to tell you that your animal may have some horrible disease because they have one symptom that could be nothing, like I have experienced elsewhere. very friendly people, even my dogs love them.
This is the best and most diverse animal care center in the state. We like especially Dr. Quint, who is awesome with our German shepherd, although he is a hand full and extremely spirited. Dr. Quint is a highly skilled veterinarian and surgeon with great compassion. No referrals needed, they do it all.
Second time going to this vet HOSPITAL, by far the best veterinarian I have ever been to.
Today we took our cat for pre-dental exam, just like the first time when we here with our dog, they blew us out of the water. So knowledgeable and always answer all of our questions.
Some might think their prices are high, but trust when I say you are getting what you pay for and more.
Thank you so much to Dr. Stacy McVicker and vet assistant Marina for being so wonderful.
This hospital will forever handle the care of my pets.
I was referred to Animal Care Center by a neighbor who raved about them. My experience has always been 5-star. Dr. Quint and his assistant Danielle are so gentle and good with every small dog I've taken there. The front desk gals are also on top of their game. Recommend without hesitation.
Everyone at Animal Care Center is very friendly and caring toward all of the animals they serve. When trying to resolve a health issue with one of my dogs, I'm always presented with all the options they can provide, yet I'm never pressured toward a specific option of treatment. The amount of time and care that's put into making all the animals (and their humans) comfortable is top notch. Every pet deserves a vet's office that's this good!
Love the fact that Dr.Gaynor visits this clinic weekly. He is the best at pain management. Our dog JANUARY was treated with gentle hands & kindness. Because of the COvid we were met outside and JANUARY was treated inside for various testing. Overall the staff was great..
I came to adopt my My Shepard- retriever mix when he was six. I was told he had been hit by a car as a puppy. He had a back end that sloped down in an unnatural position. He had no muscle strength in his back end and couldn't get in a car or on a couch without me lifting his back end. In just a few months of treatment with Kristen and Dr Bartling that included chiropractic treatment, laser treatment, manual adjustment, exercises, and pain control, my pup is now pain free, gaining muscle strength, and has markedly improved range of motion. These guys are the real deal. I am so grateful to them for their expertise and compassion. They have taken years off of my dog's life.
The Doctor s and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and work hard to help your pet in every way. My Bichon was struggling to walk and needed immediate attention. Not only did he get seen right away, but his pain was managed. He also needed immediate PT, one of the staff gave up their appointment to accommodate my dog, they also contacted an outside PT as a backup. They really go above and beyond! I endorse them 110%!
My husband and I have recently consulted with the Animal Care Center for a full physical evaluation for our old sweet Sassy, 16 year old pug. We recognize that she is in the very old category but wanted to make sure she is able to live pain free and ambulate independently. We continue to be impressed with their wholistic approach, hesitant to suggest a variety of expensive tests and invasive procedures. The staff genuinely care for her, shown by their words and touch. Kelli is helping us with simple home exercises following her PT sessions at the Center. This has been a 5 star experience for us!
Awesome rehab place - LOVE Dr. Kim! Very thorough with their assessment and put together a great set of rehab exercises for us to do at home to speed up recovery. Will always come here for any pet rehab needs.
They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They may cost a little more, but are capable to save a tooth. Imagine if every time you went to the dentist and had a cavity they just pulled the the tooth instead of filling it. They do all they can to save a tooth. Also my wild street cat loved them.
Dr.Wolfe is an amazing, compassionate Vet! She gave our Dog the best treatment and was so patient with him as she treated him with loving care! Thanks so much! We just moved into the area and this is our new vet for us!
My family had loved all of the dr.s at this practice. We have now been going here for almost 2 years. The dr.s and some of the techs are absolutely amazing! Dr. Wolfe went above and beyond everytime we interacted. Dr. Everett is very compassionate and loving to all of my dogs as well. However, we unfortunately lost our hamster after spending hundreds of dollars to save her she lost the fight. She wasnt just a hamster. My son got her after we had 2 deaths in our family in the same weekend. Loosing her was really hard. We were told that she was getting cremated and we would get her little paw prints in a mold. We got a call to pick her up after a few days and when we got there noone had any idea of paw prints. Obviously she was already cremated so there was no getting them redone! The tech who called was the least compassionate person i have ever talked to and just said sorry theres nothing i can do! When my husband called back we were apologized to up and down for their mistake and said they would make it right by making or painting something for my son to have as a keepsake. Here we are 2 and a half weeks later and still nothing at all! We just called and of course once again noone has any clue what we are talking about! This is a huge mistake and once an animal is gone they are gone. Yeah to some its just a hamster but for us Goldilocks was so much more!
Five stars is not enough! This is office and staff surpasses most. They are kind, honest, helpful and understanding, going above and beyond. Dr. Mc.Vicker is unbelievable! Thank you.
Behavior Vets of Colorado is by far the best place to take your pet if you are having behavioral issues. Dr. Simone Sidel is incredible and we were so lucky to have had her as a resource when we were having issues with our dog.
Dr. Merry Gibson is a much needed addition to the front range as a holistic provider of veterinary medicine. We cannot say enough great things about her and her care for our beloved family members. Our Giant Schnauzer, nearly 7, for the first time has less waste in the yard and can once again jump up on his groom table without incident.
We had an emergency with our new kitten and the wonderful people at this office got us right in. They were so great to Rocket, took such great care of him and were so kind! They will always have our business!
Our dog Missy ended up sick and our regular vet couldn t get us in. I called Animal Care Center and they got us in within an hour. They took amazing care of Missy and talked me through all of her treatment options and quoted me before we decided on what to do. We saw Dr. Wayment and the tech Allie. Both of them were so caring and amazing! We will be switching to Animal Care Center of Castle Pines for our vet!
We have been using Animal Care Center of Castle Pines for our Vizsla since we got her as a Pup over 5 years ago. The staff is awesome, very professional and friendly. Dr. Shawn has been a great Vet, since we are both bird hunters it has been very easy to relate and he has given me some tips to help with emergency care in the field. I recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a quality Vet office.
We recently made the trip from Broomfield to see Dr. Shawn Wayment (a.k.a. birddogdoc) at the Animal Care Center of Castle Pines for the first round of vaccinations for our GSP pup. The wait area and facility is spacious and modern. Our Vet Tech, Allie, took us in minutes after arriving. The entire staff is very welcoming and we received excellent care and attention during our visit. With their puppy package, we will be going back 2 more times over the next several months to receive both booster and additional vaccinations. Animal Care Center of Castle Pines has an excellent puppy package for vaccinations! I highly recommend the Animal Care Center of Castle Pines.
This is one of the most amazing state of the art facilities with the most caring people! I won t go anywhere else with my fur kids but here! Dr. Stacey we love you! Great staff too. You guys are the best! Thank you for actually caring and helping all the lil animals. Love you guys!
We love Animal Care Center of Castle Rock. It s our anniversary: 10 years! 10 annual visits 3 surgeries (he s a Golden; cancer) Teeth cleanings Groomings Shots Allergy visits Lots of love, support and partnership in caring for our Stoli.
Amazing place and staff, I wish i could give more stars to this place. They were so helpful to our family dog and so professional. Not only they took care of family dog, the staff was inacting with my toddler son. I loved it, he was getting bored and moody that the staff gave him a mini tour and let him play. I would say to others this is place you want to go too
Our dog family members have been fortunate to have seen Dr. Shawn Wayment, and Allie, since we moved to CO in 2009. I cannot say enough about the level of care that has been provided. I would recommend Dr. Shawn to anybody in the Castle Rock area. If you've recently relocated, look no further!
The Animal Care Center is a wonderful place to take your pets. It is very obvious that they love animals. They treat my pets with compassion and you can tell they really care about my pets. They are never in a hurry and allow me time to ask questions. I would recommend them for anyone that treats their pets like family.
My sisters dog Bentley Olson was having a ear problem. My sister always cleans his ears and knows when something is wrong. Dr. Q was out for 5 days and asked if we could just bring in Bentley and get his ear swabbed since we were close running errands since we live in Littleton. Dr. Evertt came outside even on her lunch hour and swabbed Bentley's ears. Bentley did have a ear infection and we got ear drops. I just want to say how wonderful you are and we really appreciate it. You went the extra mile. Thank you.
The Vets, Techs and Staff at Animal Care Center are all kind, loving, and exceptionally competent. I have been taking my two pets there for several years and have gotten the best care for them possible. Also giving them 5 Stars for how they are operating during this very difficult time.
Dr. Wolfe and her team were amazing. They took their time with each of my pups (Mastiff and Lab). They recommended options for treatment that were never offered to me at other facilities. They worked with us on price and went through the cost and our options. I look forward to working with Dr. Wolfe and her team. Myles and Kilo love their new vet. Our pets are the most important part of our lives and we want them to have the best care because every moment we have with them is so valuable.
I have a dog that is historically very anxious and reactive on leash or in small confined spaces (much like a vets treatment room). I prefaced the appointment with the understanding that a muzzle has been used in the past for extra security and that I was okay with making that move. Dr Carbon was phenomenal, stating that she didn t want to take away a nervous dogs defense mechanism with a muzzle and would rather try a yummy treat and maybe a soft cone to take away some visual stimuli. My dog had a full physical exam, blood work and 3 shots without so much as a growl. When I came back for a booster shot, the vet tech met me outside so that my dog didn t have to go through big scary doors and smell other dogs . She brought a soft cone and more treats and again, my dog didn t even notice the vaccine and left completely stress free. I cannot sing their praises enough.
We couldn't be more thrilled with the level of care and service we receive at Animal Care Center of Castle Pines. They are always warm and welcoming! More importantly, the entire staff genuinely loves animals, take care, and show concern for your pets! They love what they do and it shows! We were even more thrilled to find Dr. Molly Miller, our previous vet, was here!
We've been looking for a good holistic vet since relocating here nearly 3 years ago. Finally feel like we've found one in Dr Merry Gibson. She's an experienced holistic vet with a breadth of knowledge in integrative medicine (western and eastern medicine, natural therapies, and optimal nutrition). We'd definitely recommend her for others looking for a top holistic vet in the Denver south metro area.
The technicians at this clinic (Carissa, Shay, Lindsey...to name a few) are also very good. All around positive experience.
Dr. Ringen was by far the BEST Veterinarian we have been to. We brought our dog in with neck/back pain and needless to say he was quite unhappy to be there. Dr. Ringen was awesome with him and we are so appreciative! The front desk staff is also great--very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you, ACC of Castle Pines for calming our nerves and taking such good care of our fur baby! :)
The best vet services ever. The building is extremely easy to get to since it's just off the freeway. There are tons of services available- grooming, rehab, dental, etc. And when you walk through the door you'll be blown away with how nice it is! Dr Quint is truly amazing. I had a very high maintenance dog with different health issues and Dr Quint helped me every step of the way. The rest of the staff is helpful and eager to help. I have been going there for years and haven't had a single negative experience.
We asked for a consultation to help make the best choice for our dog and ended up getting him scheduled for a major surgery. The evaluation team was so thorough and understanding and explained everything extremely well! The post-op physical therapy team of experts, yes experts, is so kind, helpful and fun! I trust them and their skills to get my old pups, with lots of unique needs, back to better than their typical physical capacities! They entire staff is so welcoming and seems to strive to get the best multidisciplinary care for each animal. So glad they're on our team!
I absolutely believe the doctors here are among the best you can find. I have been coming here for nearly five years. With that being said, I don't know if I will continue. I feel like the doctors are always pushing expensive procedures when they're not justified. As much as I'd like to spend any amount to protect my pups, that doesn't mean actually spending endless amounts of money. The impression I have received over the years is that they are just trying to pad the bill.
We came to Animal Care Center of Castle Pines After Murphy was diagnosed with a lung tumor. We did not want to put him through chemotherapy as the two drugs that were recommended have horrible side effects. Murphy was given 1-3 months to live. We wanted him to have the highest quality of life for the time remaining. Our hope was to stay ahead of the decline curve and to try and keep him comfortable for as long as possible. Although it was a difficult pill to swallow, we were prepared to lose him.
On our first visit, we met with Dr. Gibson and shared our expectations. We had already shared Murphy s records to make her aware of his situation. A diet change from kibbles to raw was highly recommended. Murphy was prescribed some Chinese herbs, essential oils, turmeric powder (an antinflammitory), and immune system support powders. Only two very affordable medications were prescribed.
We had a lengthy discussion about the use of the Sanawave machine. I was already a little familiar with the machine. It's a pulsed electromagnetic field device that uses hyperthermia to treat cancer. We also decided to give Murphy a few injections of iron nanoparticles to make the SanaWave therapy more effective. There are very few machines in use in the US. We felt very fortunate that one of them was in use at Animal Care Center of Castle Pines. The Sanawave does the following:
1) strips away the protein layer on tumors 2) energizes the immune system by helping cells create heat shock proteins (HSP) 3) organizes water in the body to remove dead cancer cells 4) reduces inflammation
This is truly an amazing machine. We have been going for treatments since the end of February, 2020. After each six weeks of treatment, a cancer panel was run to check the progress of the treatments (a baseline test was run after our first visit). After the six weeks of treatments, the cancer panel showed a drop in the cancer marker and a huge drop in inflammation. We have seen a continued drop in the cancer index with six week period of the Sanawave treatments. As of July 24, 2020, Murphy is considered cancer free! No one has ever done this before, so we feel very fortunate to have Murphy under Dr. Gibson s care.
At this point, we feel Murphy is out of the woods so to speak and that we can shift to a maintenance mode. Murphy will need to be treated for life. The hope is to have one to two treatments per month . Dr. Gibson has been an absolute delight to work with. She has a cheerful disposition and is very compassionate. She is one of the brightest and most amazing vets that we have worked with. We ve done a lot of testing on Murphy and each time we ask questions, she has answers and explains them in a way that is easily understood.
The physicians are great if you can make it past their incredibly rude and incompetent front desk staff. We have been patients for years but we have had none stop horrible experiences in the past year with their front desk personnel. They make scheduling mistakes regularly, are rude, don t bill your insurance accurately, and the list goes on. They used to have such a lovely office and staff was pleasant and competent. We have no idea what happened during this past year, but since they hired some new front desk personnel seeing this vet has becoming an uphill climb every time. It s sad to see how a few bad apples can spoil an entire organization. We have had three of our friends switch from this vets office to another during the course of this past year because of the same issues and we just kept hanging in there, yet we finally gave up too after the latest mess. I hope they can get it together over there or they will continue to lose patients.
Frank is an 8.5yr young albino, deaf Great Dane. We rescued Frank when he was 4 months old from a breeder who no longer wanted him because his hearing and possible vision impairment. Frank has always been a playful pup and when we started realizing his older brother Leroy was showing his age and not being as playful, we decided to adopt Frank a brother/companion he could play and bond with. That s when Tom, a piebald great dane came into our lives. The plan worked out great, they became instant brothers and played all day/every day. After a couple of years Tom grew a great deal and playtime started becoming rougher and unfortunately Frank injured his rear right leg. We took Frank into The Animal Care Center of Castle Pines to meet with his doc, DR. Johnathan Quint for radiographs and he referred us to an orthopedic specialist in Colorado Springs for further diagnostic evaluation. The doc in Colorado Springs took some more radiographs of Frank s leg and assumed Frank may have injured/torn his ACL and suggested us doing a TPLO on Frank. Frank at the time, was favoring his leg but he would still apply pressure/weight bearing to the leg. He only favored it on strenuous occasions. It was not a complete tear, to where he was not be weight bearing at all, it did not get to that point. So, we decided to opt out of the TPLO at that time and try some more alternative routes. Then, we decided to go to The Animal Care Center for his rehabilitation and it was the best decision we could have made. The staff at the clinic took so much time and care into Frank s injury and were such a great deal of support for my husband and I through this journey. Throughout a two year span of PT, laser, treadmill, swimming & massage, Frank showed a lot of improvement and just loved all the attention, affection and peanut butter Kristen and Kelli would give him. Frank would get so excited to come to every appointment! Frank came in for a follow up appointment with Dr. McVicker and the conversation of Stem Cell Therapy came up because of the flyers they offered in the exam room. Dr. McVicker thought it would be a great idea to explore all our options and informed us of an orthopedic doctor (Dr.Gaynor w/Peak Performance Veterinary Group) that specializes in stem cell therapy. So, she set up an apt with us to come by for a consultation with Dr. Gaynor. We met with Dr.Gaynor, Dr. Bartling and his assistant Holly in July 2018. They all were so fabulous. They spent an abundance of time with Frank and us, examining and going over all our options. We all decided as a team that stem cell therapy could improve Frank s quality of life and pain management, so we figured we would give it a shot. Two weeks later, we had his stem cell therapy treatment done. The staff at Animal Center, Dr. Quint, Dr. Gaynor and VetStem Biopharma were extremely helpful during this process and made it unbelievably stress free. It was actually a piece of cake! It took less than 3 months for Frank to start showing signs of improvement, major improvement! Actually, Frank was acting like a puppy again. His energy level went up, he became more involved and interested in daily activities. He started playing with his brothers again, he rebuilt his confidence with stairs and jumping into the car and on the couch. Most of all, we have not seen him limp once since his stem cell treatment 4 months ago. He truly is back to his old self again, but 3 years younger!!! We have been bragging/educating as many people as possible about the treatment Frank has gone through and explain how life changing it was for our pup Frank and ourselves. Truly was a great decision! We can t thank the Staff at Animal Care Center or Peak Performance, VetStem Biopharma enough for improving the quality of all our lives, especially Frank. Love all of you tons!!!! XO
They got me in immediately. It was great - the scheduling, the wait time, the diagnosis procedure, the whole staff... My Buddy is up and running again! Thanks!
Thanks for taking great care of our dog over these past few years! Can't say enough great things about the PT staff, Kristin and Kelley, who have been spectacular in dealing with our older dog.
We followed Dr. Quint from his previous location, because he was so kind and compassionate when our first dog had to be put down. We have never had anything but a wonderful experience when we've been in for an appointment. Staff members go out of their way to make sure we have the information we need, and to make us feel comfortable. Dr. Lindsey never fails to get down on the floor with our two old 'ladies' and love on them. Dr. Quint always remembers that we love many of the same things that he loves. It is so wonderful to have our babies loved by the staff as if they are their own. We would never consider going anywhere else!
Dr. Molly Miller and the wonderful staff at the Animal Care Center of Castle Pines have meant the world to our family. From taking care of our much beloved Havenese - especially as she passed - to jumping in with the adoption of our new little schnoodle boy, they have walked along side us with expert medical advice and great compassion. We feel very fortunate to have their partnership as we take on the care of our new little guy.
This review is from a year ago at least. I never got a chance to write a review until now. From what I remember, everyone was friendly but apparently my dog thought otherwise. She did not like it from the start. She had to get blood drawn or maybe even a vaccine shot and instead of doing whatever they had to do in front of me, she was taken in the back which is understandable and I m sure just protocol. When she came back she was visibly shaken, I remember she was very lethargic at home. She didn t want to eat or drink and that worried me...especially because I was given no warning/explanation as to why she would have these symptoms and maybe it was just too much for her that day. I m not here to bash on this clinic because dogs can be very unpredictable. I just didn t leave confident enough to want to come back and more so with how she was acting after the fact. Lastly, I have to add that I thought that the quote I got for her teeth cleaning was just way overpriced for a 5lbs dog. I fully take responsibility as to how much build up she had on the teeth at the time but I couldn t justify paying that much. I m the end, I went with my gut. I cancelled her teeth cleaning here and took her to her old vet in Fort Collins. I think when you find the one (the right veterinarian clinic) stick with them no matter how far you have to drive especially because we are their advocates.
We had an amazing experience with Dr. Huff and his team. They were so helpful and kind during our dog s surgery. We are incredibly grateful for all of their work and communication. Would definitely recommend the clinic and Dr. Huff if you have dental needs.
Highly recommend this Care Center for your pet. They found a way to schedule our pet in the same day we called and took great care to understand our pet and discomfort and to provide appropriate care. Also provided great instruction along the way on a recommended course of action and sent us home with an action plan. Then, they called the next day - just to check in on things with our pet. Very professional and caring!
Fantastic folks to work with. Pleasant and attentive to my needs and the needs of my pets. I would highly recommend them! They have treated me well for the past 6 years. I won't go anywhere else!
Dr. Quint, Sara, and the entire staff are amazing. Both of my dogs are getting older, and Dr. Quint is very understanding about the choices I can make to keep the quality of their life high, without spending TONS of money keeping them alive. It's a fine balance, and he his very understanding about that.
Best vet clinic we have ever used. We have been taking our pets here for over a decade. The friendly staff always takes the time to listen to, and address the concerns we might be having at the time of our visit. We love all of the changes and upgrades that have been occurred over the years. We will continue to use and recommend Animal Care Center for our pets needs.
I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Brooke at Animal Care Center since we moved to Colorado. Both of my dogs were rescues who had a few health issues when we first adopted them. She took great care of them and they are happy and healthy now. The practice as a whole is great, my dogs love coming because everyone is always really sweet and cheerful. I trust Dr. Brooke and the ACC with my dogs, and they are my babies.
We adopted our dog Cayenne from our very dear friend Robin, who passed away this year from cancer. Robin had referred us to the Animal Care Center. Dr. Jonathan Quint and staff are not only dedicated top notch professionals, they are also very friendly and extremely caring people.
Excellent experience. All the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. This was my first visit and I highly recommend Animal Care Center of Castle Pines.
Finding a trustworthy vet is hard and I would not consider taking my two dogs anywhere else. Dr. Quint and his staff are amazing and I believe they have my pets best interest in mind. They are always VERY helpful and he never makes me feel rushed and takes time out of his day to personally call when he can. They have been great and informative from routine to emergency care. I highly recommend Dr. Quint and his team to anyone who asks. I will continue to take my fur babies here for regular care! :)
This place is state-of-the art and Dr. Marie Bartling is the best Vet there is! She has been seeing my 3 dogs and her treatment stopper my dog's fecal incontinence.
I was so impressed when we bought our 9 week old puppy to Animal Care Center of Castle Pine for the first time. The vet and her assistant came in and sat of the floor and began talking to about our puppy. They answered out questions and offer some great suggestions. We are blessed to find such a great place help us care for our new puppy.
I have been taking my pets to the Animal Care Center since 2002 when they were a small practice in Castle Rock. Even in the larger office they continue to provide very personalized care. They are always efficient, caring, and friendly. On occasion I have needed to break up payments and they have been easy to work with so that I am able to stay within my budget. Everyone here loves animals, and their passion for our pets is noticeable on a daily basis!
My go-to vet is Belcaro, ER: Alameda East and VRCC. Animal Care Center at Castle Pines was very responsive to my dog s difficult to diagnose gait issue. The have a very strong focus on PT/AT, when surgery is not the answer or post surgical PT/Rehab. I recommend them.
Took my cat into them for weird looking bumps on her back. The doctors immediately made me feel better by reassuring me that is was nothing serious and just an allergy. I was really surprised by how much they cared for her, they did a great job!
Thank you so very much for taking such good care of Gunther. I have now claimed you for all our pets need! You are an amazing group of dedicated and caring professionals with hearts as big as our Rocky Mountains. Thank you again.
The staff here is fantastic and they truly love animals. I brought my dog in recently for a very difficult and saddening procedure, and the staff was so compassionate and went out of the way to not only make my dog comfortable, but to also make me comfortable as well. I ve been a customer for several years, and will continue to bring my animals here. Dr. James is the best!!!
A few months ago our small dog had an unfortunate accident and fell on his back. He had neurological deficits, extreme pain and limited mobility. Dr. Gibson utilized the SanaWave equipment and we saw marked improvements from these treatments. He no longer had neurological deficits and is able to jump, run and have fun again. We are so happy with the results and recommend Dr. Gibson because she has helped our dog rapidly with a non invasive approach.
First off, we have been clients of Dr. Brooke and Dr. Shawn for the last 15 years. They have been fabulous vets to each and every one of our fur babies and treat them like family. As of recently, Dr. Brooke and her technician Sarah have taken over most of the care of Lucy, our 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier, who has had a very complicated medical history to say the least. Lucy has defied crossing the Rainbow Bridge on several occasions, and we attribute much of the care and advice we receive from Dr. Brooke and Dr. Shawn to this very blessed outcome. Last July, we brought Zara, a new Jack Russell Terrier puppy into our family. Dr. Brooke gets down on the floor the minute she comes into the room and plays with Zara and makes her feel at ease right from the start. Zara now gets very excited if we have to make a trip to the vet's office, which is the way it should be!! I can't ever imagine taking our beloved pups anywhere else really. I know that every option will be explained to us and an honest and comprehensive opinion will be rendered accordingly. These guys are the real deal and worth every consideration a pet owner could give as to where to bring their animals.
A good friend recommended Animal Care Center of Castle Pines, and I'm really glad we visited them. The entire staff is so nice, and vets and vet techs are very thorough.
Both of my dogs are a little nervous (one because she is super high energy, one because she just doesn't like strangers). All the vet techs and vets have been great with them. They go extra slow and are so gentle. They give them lots of treats and really try hard to make them feel more comfortable before doing any exams.
We recently went in because our old girl has started having trouble getting up on the hardwood floors. Dr. Bartling was great! She did some chiropractic work, and gave her a couple shots. She went over several rehab options with us. We'll be going back for a few more appointments...but even after just one visit our dog seems to be getting up easier and definitely seems to be more comfortable. She even jumped up on the bed without help.
Travis & Michi were gentle and caring while grooming our elderly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Jazzy, who is blind and deaf (among other health issues). Jazzy enjoyed the tender loving care she got during her senior spa day. The vet staff are wonderful too!
3 out of my 4 dogs are rescues from euthanasia lists; ALL were abused or neglected at young ages. Dr. Bartling sees 2 or them and my Therapy dog. Both dogs, she sees, have some extreme behavior issues to include leash reactivity, fear of humans and dogs, handling issues, and separation anxiety. They both have loved her and her staff since day one. They always go WAY above the norm to insure that they are comfortable and as little of stress as possible. She is even great about reminding me to stick to my dog training skills because when you are overly stressed, it frequently disappears. Even the receptionists have not judged me for needing controlled entry in the building and even help clear a path for me and maintain security to take my dogs directly into a room. The staff ask me what my dogs needs are and how best they can help. Where I do understand that is not their job, it is so amazing for my dogs and I to start off a visit less stressed, anxious, and fearful.
We drive an hour each way, but it is well worth it for the service, care, and understanding that they provide my dogs and I. Thank you SO much!!
The staff is beyond wonderful here! Very knowledgeable and I just love how much they all loved on my puppy!!! You can truly tell every single person LOVES animals in this office! This is my first puppy and I appreciated all the info about training and pet insurance.
Always great care enhanced by the number of specialists thay have on staff. For example, Dr. Mcvicker is very knowledge in the care of senior cats. Dr. Molly Miller did surgery on puppy Chaz after he was trampled by a deer. Every vet we have encountered has been very knowledgable and kind. In addition, they have a fantastic rehab program that helped Chaz get back on his feet after his back legs were paralyzed in an accident. I trust them with my babies and that's saying a lot!
From the moment we brought in our little Moose for his first appt we have been very pleased! The staff has been great and we love Dr Gibson. We had to do a little research to find a doctor who would support our decision to feed our new pup a raw diet. Dr. Gibson has been very supportive and knowledgeable . You cant go wrong here!
Dr. Carbon and Kenna went over and beyond for my anxious dog, Georgia. They worked so hard and took extra time to make her feel comfortable and relaxed. I appreciate the whole practice's approach to excellent standard of care for my dog. Even though my dog is a scaredy cat, I mean dog, she loves going to the vet. I highly recommend Animal Care Center of Castle Pines.
It's been a long time since we'd had a pet and we decided to chose a local place. VERY glad we did. Everyone was friendly helpful and very caring. They were also very knowledgeable and gave us great information about our puppies needs.
I'm going to start by saying, I love this vet office. I specifically take my dog here for dental cleanings as it's far from home, so my experience has been with Dr. Huff and we've been here twice for dental cleaning and extractions. I've always been nervous to do this because of a previous experience with a dog that was difficult, but ACC is the best in what they do. The staff there has the BEST bedside manor, they are so attentive, give my little guy tons of love and I think this is the best kind of care my dog has ever received from a vet. They called me every step of the way during my dogs procedure so I knew what was going on and that he was okay. I would recommend them over and over again.
We have been taking our dogs to Animal Care Center for 8 years. We have three large dogs. Their care is exceptional, professional, and loving. They have always made us feel comfortable and cared for...from normal routine visits to emergencies we have encountered. Every doctor is personable, informative and thorough. One of our dog currently also see the rehab part of Animal Care Center. I am so grateful they added that area to their practice. The doctor on the rehab side is amazing and has done wonders for our dog. We appreciate that they have continued to grow but still kept the personal feel to their practice. We thank them for loving our dogs almost as much as we do.
Amazing team here. When our 9 year old German Shepherd was failing and ready to go, our regular vet couldn't fit us in. Animal Care Center fit her in (crazy busy time for all vets) and treated her with such love (and us, too) to make Daisy's passing the best it could be. We've since switched all our pets to ACCofCP Thank you all!
Everyone was very courteous and professional, including a call beforehand to talk about services, and sending me an estimate. I found Dr. Hoff to inspire confidence with his wealth of knowledge and calm, confident demeanor. I was extremely worried about dental surgery on my 16 year old dog with an infected abscess, and Dr. Hoff got her through strong and healthy. I love the booklet I received containing X-rays, photos, and detailed information about what was done, and the thorough explanation and obvious care they took with my girl. She's doing great!
