The best bakery in London with a large selection of fresh bread and pastry. Wide variety of European products, very professional arrangement of items, a great shopping experience, friendly staff.

First time visit...Angelo's came well-recommended so I took a friend out for a quick Saturday night supper before going to the theatre...my vegetable lasagna was obviously from frozen as the inside of it was ice cold. My friend ordered a hot sandwich...again, it was cold and the meat was undercooked. Add a can of soda and a bottle of water to this and the bill was almost $25. Not impressed. Their deli/bakery is their selling point, for sure...good stock and, having lived in Europe, I can attest to the authenticity of much of the product line. Staff seems somewhat stressed and unhappy but they warm up once you get past the initial cold shoulder. Overall, Angelo's is good but it could be amazing with some real effort by management to tweak the niggling issues and realize the potential here.

A great local Italian deli and eatery! The food here is made in-house and is delicious. The gluten free options are second to none that I've ever tried; the pizza dough and sauce especially. My go-to spot to get deli meats and fresh bread.

Cakes and pastries is definitely the best section here.

I have mixed feelings about the food here.
If you like deli meats, cheeses and artisan breads, theres a lot of quality products to choose from and I recommend trying it.
But, there's been times where the cookies and other sweets I've purchased were just okay in taste, for example lacking a buttery flavor for shortbread cookies or a thin chocolate used as a coating instead of something thicker and more chocolatey. Or I've had the lasagna which was also okay tasting the first day, but when reheated as leftovers, did not taste good at all.

Great bakery and coffee shop. Its better than most places but some things could use some improvement. Staff always smiling and tables were clean.

Average quality, unimaginitive menu, ridiculously overpriced.

Stay away from the desserts except at the same time don't stay away from the desserts.

All bakery products are excellent, it is impossible to eat only one. The apple cripy cheescake is the best. variety of flavors in tea. Dried tomatoes are very good. You can get fresh bread and different styles.

European groceries. Excellent bakery including gluten free options. Hot food choices are tasty but expensive. Surprisingly good breakfast.

Not a TRUE Italian Market.

I did not find the variety to be that of a true Italian market. The produce section was incredibly small and very limited options, none of which reflected a true Italian market. It's August, and I saw no Fava Beans/runner beans, no tomatoes, rapini, etc.

The bakery offered a lot of "mangia cake" pastries. Again, not true to a real Italian market.

Angelo's certainly has potential, but I would suggest they take a trip to Toronto and see how a market like Cataldi operates, as to me, I would not say that this market is much different than Sunripe, just a little more meat and cheese.

Always a great place to go for sandwich meat and fresh bread

Angelo's gas many varieties of great tasting bread and many other items. Delicious food prepared for eat-in or take out, too.

My granddaughter's favorite place to eat so we go there for dinner before going to the Budweiser for a show. The food is delicious, fairly good parking, fast service and cheery staff.

Has pretty much everything you need. Breads, salads, deli counter, bakery goodies, hot food, soups and a sit down area to eat in.
Our cashier made our day accidentally inputting our donuts wrong. 2 donuts became 700 dollars worth of donuts. She called it her worst mistake but we all had a laugh so it was all good in the end! I hope if she reads this that she had as great a day as she gave us lol.

I love the Omlettes. Love having breakfast here. The roasted potatoes are great too

This place is great! So many fresh breads and pastries, and a large selection of cheese and deli meats. Quality prices as well!

Service and prices at the restaurant and take out were terrible, food quality for the price is atrocious, staff don't seem to know what they're doing and are slow. General pricing of goods is inflated. Better options in this city for better price and a better experience. Don't bother going here...

Wonderful experience for sandwiches, dessert and coffee

Good food, friendly staff and the place looks amazing. You have the option to do some grocery shopping and dining in. The place has strong Italian looks and feeling culture

Lovely place to have lunch or do some light shopping. Nice bread and fresh produce. Prices on most things are fair enough. Staff is efficient and pleasant enough. I prefer shopping here rather than at Sobeys down the road.

Held our first Coffee and Networking event here this week. The food is great and the price very fair. The service is excellent.

Love the breakfasts here, good and affordable and what you get is beyond good.

Your buttercream cake is horrible! Looks nothing like the picture shown on the website height wise! The cake itself was dry! The buttercream icing was like a stick of butter! The flowers taste like pure chemicals; couldn't even eat it! It looks nice but the taste is very bad! This has been the 3rd-4th time now! Would not recommend the buttercream cake! VERY disappointed!

Unique foods you can't find anywhere else. And a great bakery!!

I really love your products so its disapointing I have to rate so low. Awesome selection, hot food is fabulous. But consistently the service is very poor. Cashier's seem angry I am there, very abrupt and rude. I really enjoy what you do, if management invests in more service training you could be really exceptional. But the poor service has consistently tainted my experience.

My favourite in all of London, Ontario. The bread and pastry selection is fabulous, and our once-a-monthly cold-cut dinners would not be the same without Angelo s cold cuts that are fresh and wonderful. The Polish ham is a must as is the gold prosciutto, Hungarian smoked sausage and the selection of cheeses from all over the world. If you want to dine in, there is a decent salad bar, soups, hot food section and of course pasta and pizza. Recently, they added a fresh vegetable section to the store as well,and their dry pasta selection is wonderful too. Last but not least, their gelato is a must.

Pleasant little shop to buy unprocessed fresh daily baked bread in. The staff are friendly and the pastries are delicious, great place to shop.

And a well-stocked Bakery would be 5 if it was less expensive

One of the best place in London.. If you are looking for western foods like pasta, salad, cakes... There we go Also they have great collections of tea and coffees in the city...

Angelo's is a store that my husband shops at each week for his food for lunch each day.

Extremely disappointed in our recent experience with Angelo s. I pre-ordered a cake for my sons baptism and they wrote down the wrong date on my order, so when we went to pick up the cake, it wasn t there! I had specifically told the boy taking the order that the cake was for the baptism on Sunday October 6th, however he wrote down the 9th, which is a Wednesday. In order to fix their mistake they said we would have to wait a little bit and they would get another cake for us, however it took an extremely long time and by the time the cake arrived, people had left the party. They also gave us free icing to compensate for their mistake, and only when we asked for a discount for their mistake...Their customer service is horrible, and even though they make good cakes, I ll never be returning as this isn t the first time dealing with mistakes they ve made. Many people at our party also had stories of bad customer service from Angelos cake department. Also to offer free icing does not show ownership of the mistake that was made, and they did not apologize or show any kind of remorse for the situation they put us in.
