We used to go to Andersons alot on previous visits to Inverurie and enjoyed the experience. Now it has fallen from grace. We arrived to see a notice that suggested in busy times wait to be seated. Fair enough . However with at least ten tables available we were told to queue up. Where, I asked, as the sign indicated where I was standing was the spot to be taken to a table. The lady said the queue was by the counter where eight people were ordering . So doing a quick calculation; eight people ,ten tables with a capacity of at least forty seats; how can this be described as busy. A look at the menu and over priced drinks and food,( no doubt to pay for the improved cafeteria!) I decided to leave and go elsewhere. I found the recommended Buzzard Cafe in Pit Caple to be much superior. Welcoming smiles and value for money food.

Are 70 year old ladies with double hip replacements supposed to sit on the floor? According to Andersons the answer is yes . Is she supposed to have guests well only if they sit on the floor too!

After the expected 12 weeks delivery time I was delighted to be informed my new Harris Tweed Bowmore Midi Sofa and Chair would be delivered on 25th July 2014, joy turned to disappointment when the sofa arrived with no legs. Since then there has been no communication from Andersons no apology, no update on when and if the legs will be delivered. Thank goodness for my son who has been into the shop twice to be told the legs are on their way .

It is now almost three weeks since the sofa was delivered, guests arrive at the weekend. I can only hope the weather is good and we can sit outside on the patio furniture because there is no room in my small sitting room to take it inside, there is a sofa sitting on the floor!! Well done Andersons you have made what should have been a pleasure and delight a nightmare.

Very helpful staff in furniture and decor departments without being overbearing. The coffee shop is excellent. Lovely cakes and tray bakes with very good coffee. Very friendly staff and comfortable surroundings.

I usually like to give '2 stars and a wish' but this time I'll have to do 1 star and 2 wishes!
I had the best scone I have ever tasted pear and vanilla. Not dry at all, delicious. Sadly had to wait ages at the counter for a coffee. Why does it have to take so long? Lack of staff? I don't know. Reserved tables? Why? If the service was quicker I would have had another coffee but .......
Had planned to meet friends and stay for lunch but decided that as the queue was getting increasingly longer there would be no chance of staying.

It wasn't Andersons it was Jj Ross's new done up cafe. Service - not great.Prices - bit costly for what you get. Asked for 2 coffees to go and because we were still in cafe were charged full price in a takeaway cup. Definitely not impressed. Doubt would go back.
