Doug Helsby Review of Andersons of Inverurie

We used to go to Andersons alot on previous visits to Inverurie and enjoyed the experience. Now it has fallen from grace. We arrived to see a notice that suggested in busy times wait to be seated. Fair enough . However with at least ten tables available we were told to queue up. Where, I asked, as the sign indicated where I was standing was the spot to be taken to a table. The lady said the queue was by the counter where eight people were ordering . So doing a quick calculation; eight people ,ten tables with a capacity of at least forty seats; how can this be described as busy. A look at the menu and over priced drinks and food,( no doubt to pay for the improved cafeteria!) I decided to leave and go elsewhere. I found the recommended Buzzard Cafe in Pit Caple to be much superior. Welcoming smiles and value for money food.
