Everywhere the dog tax is abolished, but not in Nissewaard of course (yields too much and can be used well for all kinds of things EXCEPT for the dog!). We have a puppy from the KNGF who stays with us for about a year to learn the basics in a domestic environment and eventually go back to Amstelveen to get her training as a guide dog. Now it is true that a guide dog of a partially sighted or blind citizen is exempt from dog tax. But for the puppy that receives the training for that, you DO have to pay. What does the municipality of Nissewaard now think that guide dogs are born and after 2 years can SELF accompany someone ??? No municipality, there is an army of volunteers who do this IMPORTANT (read WITHOUT BEING PAID FOR IT!). But do you keep on raking in money and deflating this municipality. Fortunately, this terrible policy does not allow volunteers to be taken aback. Bah!

I wanted information at the Town Hall to replace my driver's license. The security company at Securitas wanted to help me. After some talking back and forth with the information officer at the town hall, I was told that I should be at the RDW. It would be nice that the security guard will stand next to the revolving door, he is paid for it.

This star deserves by the desk clerks. You are always neatly helped. The rest of the Stars that these people do earn are gone through the landscaping department. Our street looks like a jungle so badly maintained. The green strips don't look like much. To get this beautiful, really everything has to be removed, and the trees that need to be pruned, but has recently been done (1.5 years ago) and they are done every 3 years so we still have some time. They also say that the quality is well within the limit. I will not like these landscapers in my garden then. If you are currently driving into Spijkenisse, there are beautifully pruned trees and beautifully planted flowers and plants everywhere where many people drive, except in the streets where there is no through road. Because of these kinds of things, your living pleasure that you chose years ago will be considerably reduced. When I look out of my kitchen and see this misery I don't get so happy. Keep your own garden and the part in front of the house nice, but the municipality is ignoring it. Recently heard from someone that the council was whining about a tree that hung too far over town ground and had to leave while you break your neck from the weeds and annoy you about their overdue defects. What are we doing as a municipality!

Paal 59 center core (opposite Sundays) is something new every time. If it is not a roll of paper or a screen, then it is something else again. Software on another (new) pole is not modified so that residents' code can also be used on it. When reporting the problem, they say "then you pay on the other pole". Sweet nice and nice but that is a factor of 4 more expensive. The other pole is not exactly in the area where you can use a code ... And despite that, the inspectors just fine. I also discovered that there is no communication at all between management and inspectors and you should not expect collance either. Every time promise improvement but deliver ... Ho! Bunch of jerks up there at parking management and at the inspectors.

Most people complain about problems that the municipality does not necessarily have to charge or have not properly informed themselves. Actually the only thing irritating me is when you are very busy and you have to request something from a travel document, because then you have to take the liberty to be able to do that because of opening hours / crowds. And on weekends they are closed and on Friday they are open until 12. Not really convenient.

Not even worth 1 star!

Not even worth 1 star!
Sent from box to wall for 5 months after motorcycle accident due to bad and dirty road surfaces.
Clearing the mood and clearing one's own street with so-called facts that are not based on anything and that cannot be substantiated.
Inviting me to a conversation with the municipal lawyer there (I was alone!) And immediately with the knife on the table, wondered why I was actually there because the street had already been wiped clean.
Just too foolish to take responsibility and to compensate the citizen who squats on municipal taxes that are also intended for road maintenance and cleaning for the damage suffered (4000 Euro).
Childishness at its best, so pay back with the same currency through a childish review.
Do not like to lower me to this level but just had to lose it!
Accommodation Department, thank you very much for the annoyance, the frustration and the false hope !!
But woe to you if I don't pay my municipal taxes that are far too high ... then there will be some waving!
Well, we'll see what happens .....

Many failures with the system, urgent driver license application took as long as a normal friend request.

When I was finally able to pick up my driver's license, there was again malfunction with the pick-up system.

Put a little more money into the network instead of the building.

Since the placement of the new speed cameras, in particular pole 168, it has been raining tickets there. That is really ridiculous! If you arrive at, for example, 60 or 70 km / h and then just pass the 50 km / h sign and the light is still on, or goes green and then can continue to drive, you should not drive 56 or 57 km / h because then you immediately fall in the prices of 32, - or 38, - We have been living in Geervliet for 38 years now and would like to visit the shopping center of Spijkenisse, but we now have a bitter aftertaste about it!
I am 75 and always a quiet driver who practically never gets a ticket but now in a very short time I have received 7 !!!! That is ridiculous. I know more people who have 5. Most at post 168. Maybe we should look at the adjustment of the speed cameras ???

I just think it's ridiculous that the town hall doesn't take working people into account. If you work outside Spijkenisse and arrive home at 6 p.m. then you simply cannot use their services. Children must be picked up from school earlier to be on time. Are the people of the Municipality of Nissewaard taken into account now? Just no .. !!!

You can expect from the municipality that the information they provide is correct at all times. As a citizen you are expected to trust the government. Unfortunately, that is not the case in Nissewaard, you will of course first find out about the opening times on the website of the municipality. However, according to the lady at the reception, requesting an extract is only until 4:00 PM and this will be clearly stated on the website. However, as everyone can see in the screenshot I cannot find it.

A mess that is this municipality you are sent from one to another. It is not for nothing that this municipality is being kept under magnifying glass. It is not for nothing that so many people talk negatively about it. This is a reason to move from Spijkenisse.
