I bought an intermediate-level brandnew Saxophone ...

I bought an intermediate-level brandnew Saxophone in this store for my son's weekly music lessons and problems started to appear in two months which was disppointing. Furthermore, the mouthpiece is unsysmmetric with the left side much thicker than the right side. I had to blame myself for trusting the store too much and not carefully inspecting the instrument. Following my son's teacher's suggestions, I took it back to the store and wished the store technician could take a look and let me know what's wrong with the instrument. After leaving the instrument there for 5 days I called the store and learned that nobody even looked at it, yet. Since the school started and the instrument needed to be used, I had no choice but take it back since I was told the waiting time was two weeks. I am taking it to a private repair shop this week and the repair there can be done within a day. I wish the service in Anderson could be better and they could be more responsible for the quality of instruments they sell. I defintely won't buy another instrument from the store and won't recomemnd my friends doing that, too. I purchased the saxophone from the store considering it might have given me better aftersale service as its customer. If I end up going to a private repair shop anyhow, buying instruments online with cheaper prices is a better deal.

They provide decent supplies, however their repair service is rarely consistent. So I would recommend that you pick up supplies and instruments here, but find a more reliable repair provider.

Phenomenal repair services! They fixed a busted pad on my Alto Sax, and gave me great advice on how to take care of the pads moving forward. They also have an above-average selection of Guitars and learning books and tools for said instrument (Beginning, intermediate, expert- they have it all. There's also learning books for other various woodwinds, but those are on the lesser scale). Very good music store, and will definitely come again!

It was OK, but one time I went in to have my violin re stringed. Normally this shouldn't take more than 20 minutes, but they said come back in 3 hours. This was weird but whatever. When I came back 3 hours later, there was nobody in the store, the person was sitting there and hadn't even started on the violin yet, and did it in 15 minutes. Then, he continued to try to sell me something I didn't need.

Overall the experience was pretty good. The front desk team take a great care of explaining all details about the rental and insists of the musical equipments. I've been conducting the rental with Anderson Music for my Daughter as well.

Greg went above and beyond when I brought my trumpet in for a minor repair and cleaning. Not only was it completed in less than a week, but the small dent in the bell was burnished and repaired at no charge! I'll definitely be coming back in the future.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff who are more interested in selling you the right instrument and not the most expensive one (even when you ask for the most expensive one). They also have a good variety of instruments in stock at reasonable prices.

I would definitely recommend this store and would go again. I also like the fact that there was no high pressure sales tactics at this store. Just a good staff doing right by their customers. The music store that partners with our school district makes you feel like you are entering a car lot or furniture store and they only sell one brand of instruments.

Took my grandson's cello in for a free inspection after paying off the rent to own contract. It was cleaned up and adjustments were made for a charge of $25 which I paid for with a credit card. Two days later I received a warning alert from my bank indicating there was a suspicious pending charge to Amazon for $1. I immediately canceled my card and had the bank reissue a new card. The strange thing is that it was the first time I used that card in over 8 months.
