The hotel is close to the canal and it is convenient to walk to Leiden Square. The weather is good enough to stroll to Dam Square and the canal is quiet along the way. The parking fee is more expensive. On the shore, you can rent a boat about vip, about 45 Euro/person-200 Euro bag, and drink on board. It is important to note that the mobile phone should not fall into the river because the canal water is flowing. The front desk is very welcoming and has multilingual services.

Dream place in a wonderful place where art is live...

Dream place in a wonderful place where art is lived, breathed. Beautiful hotel that has around the iconic canals characteristic of the city, there is the Andaz Amsterdam: in the heart of this city. It has 122 rooms and makes available everything you can imagine. It has a very creative design that makes it unique, from the great mind of the renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. This magnificent hotel is the perfect destination for business and leisure travelers. To enjoy an extra detail, Bluespoon Restaurant & Bar offers delicious and extraordinary cocktails and spectacular dishes with a Dutch touch. For those of us who like art, this hotel has the largest collection of video art in Europe. For all this the Andaz Amsterdam, is highly recommended.

After Christmas shopping in the city center we went for lunch at the Andaz Hotel, ambiance really super and the appearance of the hotel on the inside is really worth 10!!
Staff incredibly friendly but the focaccia with smoked salmon, bell pepper and so-called truffle sauce unfortunately very disappointing
Dry focaccia certainly not fresh and the truffle flavor was absolutely not to be tasted. French fries very tasty Next time, grab our lunch elsewhere.

I can think of no finer hotel or location if staying in Amsterdam. The hotel sits right along the Prinsengracht canal, and is within easy walking distance to the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, and other nearby sites. Rooms are spacious, bright and decorated with a sophisticated yet whimsical decor. I particularly enjoyed the various facts about Amsterdam that can be found on the wallpaper in the room. Only one real dining option on-site, but you're within walking distance of a ton of small/local restaurants along the canal. It is my choice for a hotel whenever visiting Amsterdam.

Didn't actually stay, we booked parking with the hotel though. The staff were so kind and gave us really good service. They don't have a reception desk, they have small tables where they stand beside you, talk with you rather than at you and in general receive you as friends into their building. The hotel looks fantastic - really modern, large fascinating decor. Or car was safely stored and brought out for us the next day. We also had access to it wherever we needed.

Nice hotel in a more calm part of Amsterdam. Service and food are great. My only issue is the sink floating in the room, and personally I like being more central when in Amsterdam. There isn t much action here.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. Wonderful hosts and amazing interior designs from the famous marcel wanders. Stunning Dutch delft blue can be found everywhere and the place is just like a dream. You really feel the booming economy and wonderful history of the golden age. Rooms are exceptionally comfortable. Although they don t have combs strangely. Loved the breakfast too. Not the cheapest option in town for sure but it s worth every penny. There is a sauna and relaxation room hidden downstairs too which we really enjoyed. The location is simply fantastic. It s a 15 minutes very pleasant walk to the Museums and a 5 minutes walk to the amazing 9th street for independent boutique stores full of Dutch design. Anne franks house is also within 15 minutes walk along the canal. It s simply the best.

Very relieved to get here given the arduous journey we had from the station (what is wrong with taxis in Amsterdam?), and the room was a welcome sight in particular - I surprisingly liked the slightly quirky and very contemporary decor. It was also very peaceful and quiet, a much appreciated haven from the crowds outside.

Booked two rooms as we had our daughter and her grandparents with us, it was nice that they arranged adjoining rooms and an extra bed.

Not sure it would have seemed like particularly good value if I hadn't got one room for free with Hyatt points, but that seems to just be Amsterdam - I don't really get why hotels are so expensive here.

A superior hotel experience that everyone must taste while in Amsterdam . The interior design and helpfullness of hotel staff (except breakfast chef) are amazing . However during 2 mornings while we had breakfast (december), the chefs angry attitude was quiet disturbing . But even then the service stuff were so apologetic.

Went to the bar. Spot on. The service was excellent. Drinks are pricey, but are customized to your liking. They have in-house specials for drinks that aren't available elsewhere. You come to experience the atmosphere and be told a story about your drink. Not to get smashed.

Big cinema! After 3 decades of business and private travel currently my No1. Also because I've never experienced such prudent as equally relaxed and professional highly professional staff. Hallelujah, especially German "... they did not book like this / that is not so / we have never done that" hoteliers cut off two times!

It is my second time visiting Amsterdam, both times staying at Andaz. I cannot imagine a more elegant and UNIQUE experience. Andaz is NOT a hotel, it s a work of art that you sleep in. The degree of detail invested in decor, comfort, not to mention their hospitality, is what has me coming back for more. Simply put, if I could sign a lifetime contract to exclusively lodge at Andaz, I would!

Would definitely recommend staying here. Rooms are unique, overall hotel aesthetics are nice, staff are friendly / helpful. Unlimited free water, coffee and cookies in the lounge and a daily wine happy hour. Breakfast was not included as a globalist which we were a little bummed/ surprised about but it forced us to explore other great options in Amsterdam.

Our hotel was overbooked, so they moved us to this hotel. Beautiful room in an excellent location. Food and drinks were pricey, but it was easy to venture out for other options. Staff friendly and helpful.

My ears are ringing from the claxon concert in front of the hotel, day and night! Taxi's and suppliers block the traffic on the canal and as a result angry drivers push their claxon. I stared at the ceiling all night.

It's a nice little boutique hotel. Our room didnt have windows looking outdoors but that was pretty much the only con. Just looking into a corridor where anyone taking the elevators can look into our room, lol.
It's perfectly situated within walking distance to shops, bars and other attractions.

Can't say enough good things about my stay. Great service, allowed for an early check-in and took care of my mobile that I accidentally left behind until I returned to pick it up. Wonderful location and a cozy, comfortable stay. I loved the funky decor and the stories behind it (read up in your welcome folder in your room). Really made my first trip to Amsterdam first-rate. Thank you!!

Really nice boutique hotel located on a canal that was formerly a library. Located within walking distance of the Anne Frank House and all the museums. Croissants, coffee, and juices are available in the mornings and there is wine available after 5PM. The reception staff is very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Excellent location; right on the canal and in a mostly residential area. A bit quieter than the more crowded touristy areas, but really only a couple of blocks from commerce. Rooms have interesting decor and features a blue/white theme that is very much "Holland." As an Andaz property, all non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary. The gym is modern and has a large skylight. All in all, I'd recommend this property if staying in Amsterdam.

What a nice place this is! Special decor and design of the hotel. In addition, a very good restaurant and especially great service! The employees have a real passion for the profession of host, so that you not only lack nothing, but you really feel welcome. You are really pampered. The setting is intimate. Recommended for dinner but breakfast is great!

The Blue Spoon restaurant and Bar located in the Andaz hotel are really worth visiting. The service is at a very high level. The menu and dishes they serve are super tasty and you can enjoy it in a really nice ambiance without too many people around you.

This is our new favorite restaurant in Amsterdam !
