Since they require a line of site to be able to offer you internet we didn't qualify. It's unfortunate because I am really over spectrum..

I understand the point made by the owner in regards to my 1 star rating. However if I went through McDonald's drive through and they informed me they couldn't serve me because the height of my vehicle was to low to reach the drive through window, I would also give them one star on my experience. My rating is a reflection of my personal experience. You can't ask me to give a higher rating on the meal when I never had the opportunity to eat.

Amplex was really helpful when it came to setting up the service, and they have always been responsive to service inquiries. For living in the back of beyond, I didn't expect to receive anything other than satellite internet. But Amplex offers decent speeds for browsing and streaming, and the ping time (10 milliseconds) is far better than Spectrum's ping of 160-250 milliseconds. The Installation was really helpful and did a great job answering questions.

Worse tech support. Amplex internet has been a problem frequently. Just pent an hour on the phone with a tech and could not speak loud enough to hear. Asked several times for him to speak up. Was obvious working from home with other distractions.
....as a teacher, virtual learning is impossible as well as any online grading or assignments. Being told I "MAY" have a tech rep sometime early next week.

Satellite to tower internet for home great service and fair prices. When I move I will take it with me, great for rural costomers!
