I have worked with AMP Residential for almost two and a half years in Michigan and I could not be more proud of the company I work for! I was able to grow from my position of a Leasing Consultant to Assistant Property Manager and absolutely love that you can continuously extend your education daily. AMP genuinely cares about their employees, has a fantastic staff, and is always striving to be the absolute best they can be! I always look forward to what each year has in store!
Horrible place to live. Maintenance requests go overlooked for months. No air conditioning in 90+ degree heat with a child in the home is not a concern to them. The office never answers the phone, regardless of the day of the week or time of the day. By far the worst rental experience I ve had. My rent went up $200 in the middle of my lease, with no notice or explanation, until they tried to evict me. Never once did they communicate to me I wasn t paying the right amount, just an eviction notice for not paying their increased amount, at the beginning of the pandemic, mind you. I live in the upgraded unit , where nothing at all is upgraded. I moved in September, and have not had working AC this entire time. I have put in countless maintenance requests that have gone overlooked. I have called the corporate office to complain that my requests are not being serviced. They have done nothing either. My ceiling is crumbling onto my couch and MOLDING because of the leak that my AC unit is causing, which they knew was a problem at move-in and have not resolved. There is water damage on my dining room floor because water comes up through the floor, also due to the leaking AC unit. The same leak from living room is now moving into my dining room. So I m living in a molding, unbearably hot, leaking apartment and they will not fix any of it. Do not even consider moving here. On June 29th, my AC was fixed. While that is a nice thing to have. I STILL have a leaking molding ceiling. This wasn t taken care of until I threatened the health department. I was offered a deal on Friday June 26th to vacate my lease, with no foil to my name. I was given no information on an expiration date for this deal. As you know, moving isn t an easy or cheap task, so I spent my weekend getting things together to move. Only to call on Monday, June 29th and be told the deal I was offered on Friday, June 26th at 10:38 in the morning EXPIRED on that same Friday, June 26th at 11:40 AM. i was expected to accept and act on that deal in an hour and two minutes AND ALSO be completely moved out the same day. This place is an absolute joke and has zero care for anyone that lives here.
This is the best company I have ever worked for. AMP has a great team of Corporate Staff that go over and beyond in making sure the employees have all the tools to succeed and they really care about their employees. AMP Team will always be my family!!!
I looked up AMP to get the phone number for my current employer and I am really shocked to see these reviews left by others. I had a great Experience and I really think the residents enjoyed the property I was at too.
I Worked for this company at a Leasing consultant level and really enjoyed the company. They have really high standards and do everything by the book. Which is something I like.
The Management company its self is composed of some really caring people who triple check things to make sure they are right! Their approach to corrective critizism is very caring while at the same time they get the point across- again this is something I liked.
AMP RESIDENTIAL is growing fast and changes their standards based on current laws and regulations. They seem to always be ahead.
Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the management company. I have worked for other companies in the past and can really say this opportunity was really good for me. It's a shame that I no longer am located near an AMP property.
AMP was a great company to work for. I worked there for a little over 2 years and I do miss my work fam . The only reason I left was for a better opportunity to grow in my career. The entire company really makes you feel like you're a part of the family. A big family full of so many different and wonderful personalities!
If I could I would ve rated this company ZERO stars! Still haven t got my deposit back and I tried contacting this company SEVERAL of time.
I've come to meet several AMP employees over the course of the past 2.5 years and I've yet to come across someone who wasn't welcoming or inviting. They are very positive hard working people and the company has a lot of opportunity for growth.
I just started working here about 3 weeks ago and they are already willing to train me in other departments.
I'm more than thankful to be part of the company and thrilled to see where my journey with them will take me.
I interned for AMP Residential the summer before my freshman year of college, and I everything I took from that experience was extremely positive. Their people truly strive to provide the best possible service to all of their apartment communities and go above and beyond to accommodate for any and all needs.
