I have never written a negative review, but this company has pushed me to do so. I am owed a security deposit from JANUARY (almost 5 months of waiting) which both management and corporate have acknowledged they owe me, but once it was determined I was owed the money no one has responded to me. I have reached out multiple times a week to building management as well as corporate by phone and email and continue to be ignored. It is illegal to withhold a security deposit! This is this most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and do not recommend living in any of their apartment buildings. They lie and then evade responsibility to avoid accountability. Again, I do not recommend working with this company in any capacity.
Please know that William Banks is extremely professional and stays on top of any concerns. He knows his trade and is very responsive. He provides quality work and I appreciate that he is part of the maintenance staff.
Do not work for this company ever. This company has no morals or ethics. They don t pay their bills, I had to deal with so many people wanting their money for services completed, and security deposits. The corporate people spend their time talking about everyone and sharing personal information. I gave proper notice and even found my own replacement and they kept my final paycheck for training they force you take, but doesn t help you do your job please if you ever think about working here read their the people postings these reviews are not lying. I can not say enough about how bad this company is.
I am a former resident of 800 Tower City Club in Louisville, KY. I moved out 2/1/20 and still have not received my security deposit four months later. No one can answer the phone, reply to emails, tell me concretely when I m getting my money back, it s always someone else s responsibility or the person is no longer with the company. Yet no one can relay this message to me, I have to find out when I call asking for an update and they tell me the area director has changed for the third time so that s why no one reached out. Omg, then pass my messages to the next person then? I asked why I could not be updated when personnel in charge is changed and the answer was well, that s good practice, but that s not always what happens . Openly admitting business and communication skills are bad practice yet still continuing to do them. I am suing them in small claims court. Do not rent with any of their properties.
I was told by one of their reps that at my complex alone their were 500+ outstanding deposit refunds (including mine). People -- THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN BY ACCIDENT!
By the way this company is run it's begging for a lawsuit, but it's split into so many corporations they've effectively made chasing the money impossible. Each complex is it's own LLC which is then has "The Corporation Company" act as it's Resident Agent.
I moved out months ago, and had verbal and detailed mail confirmation that I should be receiving a deposit refund of $600, but nothing has been deposited in my account.
CCA at a minimum is negligent -- and worst case, willfully stealing from its residents, myself included.
I have been with the company for three years and have been promoted numerous times. While I have little experience prior to the company in multi family I have tons of hospitality experience. They rewarded me for my work ethic and I don't know if I would have ever had the same opportunities with another company. I will be with this company for the rest of my career and love it. They pay well and I work with some of my favorite people of all time. It is a young company and you have to be prepared for constant change. If you are afraid of working hard go find somewhere else to work. If you like a challenge and have a good work ethic this company is made for you and will pay you dividends. We promote from within (I am living proof of that) and you will have the world at your fingertips. Do you work hard? If you answered yes JOIN THE CLUB!
Do not sign a lease with this company. I have had several maintenance issues with my unit, put in several requests over the last 8 months and not only have they not been resolved, I have yet to even receive a response from anyone within the company. With that, I was charged a late fee to my account after my payment was not processed in time. I do not understand why I need to be punctual with my payments, yet I can't even received the basic services I am paying for in a timely manner. For the sake of your sanity, find a different company to rent from.
I have moved out of one of their apartments in January. It has been over 4 months and I'm still waiting on a check from them. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK. They avoid you! The receptionist may answer and if she rarely does she gives you an excuse and NEVER CALLS BACK! I'm sure they owe others money as well. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! DISHONEST COMPANY AVOID ALL OF THEIR APARTMENTS!!!
