Ordered a replacement converter-
Shipped same day, good price, and great company to do business with!

This company has no idea of what Customer Service means. I was lied to , then after actually buying a trailer from them, realized it had never been cleaned inside. A new Travel Trailer with ground in aluminum powder into the composite flooring, lots of aluminum shavings throughout the interior (in the beds,etc) and a battery that would not take a charge (found that out later) and liths that came on with turning them on. These things are supposed to be taken care of by the Dealer if missed by the factory.
A sleazy company for sure.

I attempted to buy an electric jack conversion from American RV. "Amy" insisted there was an issue with my credit card zip code, FYI I used the card to buy gas an hour prior. I called my CC company and was informed they had in fact approved the transaction. I left Amy a message and later called her again. Basically, they couldn't be bothered looking into the problem on their end. I ordered it from another vendor with the same card, no problem.

Update: After leaving the above review, Gina from American RV reached out to me for the details as to what happened, which I appreciated. I already ordered the product I needed elsewhere, but I would consider giving them my business in the future.

HANDS DOWN BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECIEVED!!

These guys are amazing, I cannot say enough positive things about American RV. I recently purchased a used four wheel camper from a private seller and had LOTS of questions from hardware install, electrical wiring, operations etc. Steve told me to bring my truck in and he would help me out. Prior to my visit I purchase an installation kit over the phone (which was hand selected by staff for my needs). I called around and the cost of this kit was the most affordable by far, not to mention most complete. When I brought my truck in, prior to 3rd party camper purchase, Steve immediately stopped what he was doing in the office to come outside in the baking sun to help me. As the questions proceeded Steve brought out his very experienced technician Alfredo to help out as well. We were out in the baking sun for over an hour measuring, taping, and advising for the install. An actual install probably would have been quicker and they didn't even charge me a penny. With sweat beading off foreheads both staff members patiently answered every single question with a smile. I couldn't believe how helpful, insightful, and patient they were. I will also add I only bought a 120.00 parts kit and received the service of the purchaser of a 15K RV.

I HIGHLY recommend anybody in Southern California who has four wheel camper, RV/Camper needs to look into American RV Co. I myself continue to work with American RV and have nothing but great things to say. I'm not one to write reviews but they absolutely deserve it, an easy 5 stars!

Ordered a Thetford part online from them, it was 1/3 of the price that I could find anywhere, came with tracked shipping in decent time, was well-packed, and best of all used the same part number as the Thetford site (this was oddly hard to find on other sites) so I was sure I was getting the right thing. Highly recommend this company!

Excellent service, prompt shipments, unfortunately not set up to do business with Canadians. This is the only company who can not accept my Canadian VISA card in US $. Was forced to use my Candian Mastercard in Can.$ which cost me 30% more in exchange rate charges. My VISA card is accepted every where even Hawaii but not at American RV. Very unfortunate. Why 5 Star? Because the people I dealt with were helpful and obliging.

I had some issues with the mobile site, and I ordered the wrong part. Totally my fault, but I sent them an email telling about the complications I had with the mobile website and the automatically credited me for the shipping, which was the expensive portion. They got back to me first thing the next morning, and we're excellent about everything. I am very impressed and have already ordered more from them.

Do not buy electronics from them! Worst return service ever. No returns after its been used/installed, so how do we know it doesn't work or you bought a defective one less you use it? So 80$ I'm left to fend for myself since all of a sudden I need to find an authorized dealer who can help me with the warranty. So I warn you don't buy a 600$ AC unit if anything goes wrong they can no longer help you since you had to install it to find out it didn't work. Don't buy any electronics for that matter since you won't know if it works or not and when you do its too late they won't take it back or replace it. Never buying anything from here again.

Poor Services. Paid for Priority shipping took item over one Week just to leave office. They say my item was on back order but made me for shipping to get to me faster even though they didn't have part on hand. Go to another place some of the review online are very misleading. On another note they hang up on you when you start asking questions about them misleading there customers.

This time last year, we ordered a $1300 splendid washer/dryer from American RV Co. We were very excited to have the new unit however, it arrived completely broken & unfunctional (dropped in transport). We contacted American RV after opening it and finding this bad news. Initially it seemed like they'd help us out, but somewhere a month later they started blaming us for the damage and not their freight company or FedEx. After a years worth of emails and phone calls back and forth, we end up with a broken washer/dryer and out of $1300.

I am disappointed and learned that big companies do not always care about their customers.
