The Veranda Senior Living Reviews

After debating between our options for months, we finally decided to make Veranda home for our mom. Since she moved in, there hasn't been a day we doubted that we made the right decision. She has made friends with the caregivers, other residents that live there and has even started participating in different events they do. We are so thankful for how much patience they have, how much they adore our mom and for taking such good care of her. There have been some recent changes with management and while change is hard sometimes, I can see them working so hard to keep improving and to make sure that people like my mom are treated with dignity and respect and ALWAYS taken care of. Thank you!

My dad is having a great time recuperating from a broken ankle. The staff and all of his neighbors/new friends are wonderful Very accommodating.

I called for some information and Megan, the receptionist, was extremely kind and helpful! She was willing to go above and beyond to help me. If you want great customer service this is the place for you!

I am beyond blessed to be part of such an amazing family at Veranda. For the first time in my life I am truly excited to go to work every single day and spend it with such incredible and loving residents. I am so thankful they share their stories, smiles and hearts with me.

This place super nice and clean! The staff is wonderful and super helpful alongside with being knowledgeable about medical conditions. They offer way more of a variety of outdoor experiences and traveling then most places and family is always welcome to come visit!

After speaking with the management group of Veranda, and learning about their changes in the staff and operations, I'm very excited about the way things are going. The residents have all said that they love living there, and the people working there love what they do, and do it well. There are a lot of changes happening in the background to ensure that the lives of the residents is always improving. Good job Veranda! Keep up the good work.

I ve had such an enjoyable experience with all of the staff members at Veranda. I witness daily the highest quality care and support for all of the residents. I am so happy to be a part of such a positive environment.
This is a challenging time to work in health care, but it s comforting to know that the staff here are committed to keeping things running as smoothly as possible.

Okay first of all this building is amazing!!!! It is so clean and is so gorgeous!
Secondly the PEOPLE here are OUTSTANDING!!! I wish I could give this location 10 stars instead of 5 because it is that great! I've seen several Independent living facilities all over the Treasure Valley and they just don't compare to level of professionalism that Veranda provides and lives by! Seriously if you are looking for a place to retire, live, or get your folks into this is hands down the best place to go! You wont be disappointed.

The incompetence of Jesse Hinkle is astounding, no compassion whatsoever, it's a shame they hire staff that lacks basic skills needed for this kind of job. Compassion, care, and competence.

To start, I would have preferred to give this facility zero stars!I don't know where to begin with the frustrations and feelings that I consume. I moved my aunt in Veranda when they first opened, and we were nothing but pleased with the care, staff and management. They truly exceeded our expectation! Now, under the new management, this facility has declined in the worst way. My aunt is not being cared for properly, the food is terrible, and the experiences I have had with the manager Ashley are disappointing. This woman does not care about the residents, she is cold and arrogant in her demeanor. I'm not sure if she is paying people to write positive reviews, but I can tell you first hand the residents currently living in Veranda have never been so unhappy! DO NOT MOVE in this place, we can't wait to get out! We are literally staring at the clock, but at the same time wondering, "Why did it ever have to change" and also the bigger concern is where did the original amazing staff go? We never dreamed we'd be living this nightmare. I'm extremely disappointed..... Shame on whomever is responsible to taking a once lovely place to live, into a living hell!
