Fought with them from day 1. Argued with billing with my insurance carrier on the phone. Was told I would get a call back and never did. This took place in February and it is almost August and still have not heard from them. Mailed the checks I got from insurance to them in April. Just got my first bill in the mail today, 7/30, and it states my account is past due 30 days. Hard to be past due 30 days when you never received a bill, right? So glad I don t have to deal with them any longer since I know I m BRCA negative. Wish I had others options than dealing with them while going through chemo treatments.
Have had exactly the same experience as another noted here. I never approved this testing. Got a bill from them, first bill I'd ever received, stamped "past due." Call and leave messages, and they never call back. This bunch are a scam outfit. Avoid like the plague.
Terrible service! I had a test done November 4 2020 and because of many delays from Gentry I am still waiting to hear back. Now it's Dec 22 and I have still no answer for the BRCA gene test. Gentry claimed 2 weeks ago my test was ready to have an answer and now they are dodging any information to give to my Doctors office. My nurse called 4 times in one day and never received any feedback. This is the worst place ever. They lie and don't ever respond to your calls. I am awaiting the results for the BRCA gene and it's causing so much anxiety now I wished I never took the test even though I am at a high risk of having breast cancer. Warning DO NOT USE! Find another place
avoid. talk to your doc and get testing elsewhere.
