Great people, they do the best they can, no they can't get you schedule 2 based drugs right away, but they have plenty of foward and continuing resources, have always left this place feeling more hopeful than when I walked in.

I was a returning client. They never reviewed my file, or if they did, it did not keep them from placing me with two providers who had blatant conflicts of interest and dual relationships. The complaint system failed me and after exhausting every resource, it became necessary for me to leave the state, as both my provider's have all my personal information and one of them is extremely threatening and linked to a number of incidents against me, including violence. Be very careful with this sloppy, sleazy organization.
Cascadia has always been warm, welcoming, and supportive to me. They took the time to safely see me during the pandemic (I was a walk-in visitor) and were understanding of my needs. They helped me with additional resources, too. And I didn t leave with that what do I do now?! feeling I have felt leaving other mental health urgent care centers. I now see a counselor who works at Cascadia. I have recommended this place to friends and they have gotten help here too. If you are struggling, I truly believe that this a great first step. I hope this review helps someone who is unsure about where to go.
This was one of my first experiences with trying to get mental health care, and came highly recommended by multiple people. I being unemployed due to covid-19, and depressed for God knows what reason decided that it was time to finally reach out. That was three months ago. Tomorrow would have been my first appointment. When I called three months ago we went over my financial status and how much I made through Unemployment and everything, and they were able to determine that it would cost me $60 for the appointment. Today when they called me back to confirm the appointment and my financial status they decided that even though my unemployment runs out next week now my income is actually eligible for full price. How the hell do you expect someone making $1,500 a month in this city to pay $200 per appointment? Especially when they live alone and that $1,500 won't even cover their rent?
What's even worse is they tried to get me to pay out of pocket full-price in hopes that when my insurance is active next year they can backbill me to this date. " hey we get it, pay this $200 now and you might possibly get it back in a couple months. You might not be able to afford food but hey at least you'll have your appointment." Even when I do have my insurance I will be avoiding this place like the plague.
First off anyone who uses the services here needs to know, it TAKES TIME TO GET THROUGH INTAKE. The staff is extremely friendly & I am getting the care I seek by keeping my appointments and being patient. They have walk-ins if you are really having a hard time. Overall I feel like the staff is respectful and treat accordingly. You can't expect someone to treat you with respect if you are being disrespectful. Many many people need to learn patience! It's not a virtue for nothing! I love my therapist and I love the staff. THANK-YOU for your continued efforts to help me!
Respectionist was very pleasant and respectful. When it came down to speaking with an actual person we were takin outside in the rain and cold to a make shift room with no heat was provided. Furthermore the therapist was unable to help due to having (paid) own health insurenace and not having state provided insurance. The therapist was speaking so fast, I believe she was cold and wanted to get back into the nice warm office, my daughter had to ask for her to slow her speech rate down. Im disappointed in the level of care this therapist gave today. I hope someday Cascade will take compassion when someone is hurting on the inside rather than pass the buck to another provider.
Went here yesterday, was told to go there after an urgent care visit at OHSU Richmond that shares the same building. Nobody there knew why I was there, they didn't do anything for me, the lady who saw me out was extremely uninformed and rude, and now I can't get a supervisor callback in a day and a half. I'm over it. Terrible customer service.
Updated: One employee has been super helpful to me. He's worked with me personally since nobody else seems to want to help people there.
