Amanda Howard Real Estate Reviews

I guess my expectations were too high. I read the reviews and thought I would give a try because other agent from Remax would not return calls. I wanted to deal with Amanda Howard because of the reviews. She gave me a call back quickly, but just as quickly pushed me off to one of her agents just as quickly. I do not want to bash the agent, she was professional, and did the job of showing houses and writing bids. We did at the end just go to open houses and builders by ourselves. Again I do not think the agent did anything wrong. We talked to may other agents (at open houses). We saw alot of worse agents. They did cost me an extra $500 fee to close that was not included the 3%. I guess 13,000 is not enough money. We have had much better agents in other cities. I do not know if there are better agents Huntsville, I know there are worse. I guess for the money that is paid to agents/brokers I expect more. For less than 40 hours of work there was more than 13,000 paid. I know this is the way real estate works, but I wish there was a better more cost effective way. Again I am not mad at agent, I just expected more. As I said before, it just maybe my expectations were too high because we have had great agents in Montgomery, Indianapolis, Columbus (OH), St. Louis, and Charlotte.

As a real estate investor I work throughout central and north Alabama and over the years have worked with many real estate companies and their agents. In going through the process you learn to work with the companies and agents who give you the best service and response. Amanda Howard Real Estate has proven itself to be absolutely excellent to work with.The buyers agent that I have had the opportunity to work with at Amanda Howard Real Estate is their buyer's agent Sarah Turner. Base on my experience I will assure you that you cannot find an agent anywhere that is more responsive, conscientious and willing to work for your business than Sarah Turner. The company and agents are well organized and efficient in all aspects of the business and I would deal with no one else when seeking a full service real estate company in the territory that they serve.

Cindy Luna is amazing. She very quickly had someone out to our house to tell us how to stage our home. We didn't think we were ready, but because she had hyped up our home as "coming soon," there was interest before we ever put it on the market. She answered all of our questions, such as "should we replace the carpet?" She encouraged us to list it when we were considering upgrades, so we did. Within a week, at the most ten days, we had received several offers, and sold for list price! Cindy is fantastic at getting your house sold!

We also purchased with Makinzie Gault. She worked so very hard for us, figuring out what type of home we wanted and not wasting our time by taking us to homes that she knew wouldn't be a good fit for us. We truly felt she was on our side and treated our purchase as if the purchase was for her home. She answered all our questions; when she didn't know the answer, she would find out the answer. She put up with our numerous requests to "see it again." She pointed out flaws that she noticed in homes and pointed out great things about homes. I can't say enough good about her.

Cindy and Makinzie both deserve 5 stars. They are great agents!

When searching for a real estate agent you want someone who not only knows the area very well, but also understands how to leverage the ever-changing technology landscape to help get your house sold! It was a good experience. Actually worked a deal where I would rent the buyer's home as they bought mine. A little risky to the buyer, but I got my house sold. Downside, I have to move twice.

I was looking to rent a property and one of their Buyer Specialists, Jessica Bailey Nuckols, was so accommodating! She checked in with me several times. We ended up going in a different direction, but she was so pleasant, even after finding out we were only looking to rent and not buy a home. I will definitely keep them in mind next time we're looking for property because their efficiency and customer service experience was really good.

After trying other real estate agencies in the area and getting nowhere, we turned to Amanda Howard. Evan listened to what we wanted and helped us find it quickly. He was by our side every step of the process and has even helped us with some matters post-closing. Don't waste time on other realtors - AH is the BEST in town!

We had our home listed well over a year and were open to suggestions to sell our large home quickly. Finally, we changed realtors and got an offer within two weeks. I don't know if it was just timing, but I felt that our listing had been dismissed by Amanda Howard. They may be good at selling less expensive homes but our experience was frustrating. Positives were that they were pleasant and did keep flyers in the home. When we discontinued the listing they asked us to return the crumbling sign which I thought was odd.

This was not my first home buying experience so I was selective in choosing a realtor. We worked with Mary and I can't say enough good about the service she provided. Easily the most personable, professional, and knowledgeable realtor I've ever worked with. 110% recommend.

Natsuki Tani was an outstanding buyer's agent; the best I have ever worked with! From the moment I contacted Amanda Howard Real Estate and received my first phone call from Natsuki, she put me at ease with the buying process. She is so knowledgable, always answered my questions thoroughly and provided great advice and guidance throughout the process. I was shopping for homes in Madison, Alabama while still living in Texas and was only able to spend two days in town looking at homes. Natsuki cleared her schedule and took me on tours of 30 to 40 homes during those two days, and ended up helping me find the perfect home on the 2nd day! She put me in touch with a lender, and I had a loan pre-approval and a contract on a house by the time I left town.
