Compared to other places that sell gear, Pacific Motosports really stands out for their friendliness, helpfulness and knowledge of the products they sell. My experience has been with Kathleen and Arielle and both have been amazing. Many thanks to Arielle for showing me how to wear gloves with my leather jacket. This was a problem I had that nobody seemed to be able to answer so I really appreciate her sharing her knowledge with me. Kathleen is a walking encyclopedia of everything motorcycle related. I bet you won't be able to ask her anything motorcycle related that she doesn't know the answer to. I look forward to returning in the near future to buy more gear. Thanks again girls :)

Purchased 3 bikes here, and have always brought them here for major service. Sometimes you have to wait a bit (the mark of a busy shop - a good sign?) but I've always been treated well, and when I had a frustrating out-of-warranty issue they went to bat for me with the manufacturer and the work was done at no cost.
All of the sales staff I have dealt with have detailed knowledge about the products they are selling, and have actually recommended more appropriate bikes to me and my wife which lost them some commission, which is a refreshing change from some of the dealerships around lol.
Very patient and welcoming staff. Made me, a plus size woman, feel very comfortable and we're able to help me find everything I needed. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I'll absolutely be going back.
Great selection of motorcycles and gear. Kathleen is awesome and helped me select my first riding coat, while also helping me narrow in on exactly what kind of jacket best fits my riding style. Thanks!!!
I've done my gear shopping at this dealership a few times until I've decided to give their service department a try and take my motorcycle there for regular maintenance. While the sales personnel is always extremely helpful and cheerful, service department falls short of the most basic expectation of quality. I paid through the nose for parts and service and yet they managed to misplace (or so they claim) one of my rear-view mirrors and my tail-light, delaying the work until they could find a replacements. They could not correctly diagnose a problem I was having with my battery, resulting in me having to push-start my bike a few times (the other shop identified it almost instantly). I also never received a promised call back on the replacement part they were missing to repair my fuel line cutoff switch. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere and I recommend that you are very careful if you plan to deal with their service shop.
I called looking for a battery for my motorcycle on a Saturday, it's a unique battery for a Moto Guzzi, and I needed it. I asked if they had one, was told no but would call the supplier and call me right back the same day. By the end of the day Tuesday they hadn't called me back so I called again.
"I called on the weekend looking for a battery and was told I would get a call back but no one has called. I need a battery" I told them.
They responded, "Oh yeah, I saw that note, the guy that was helping you isn't in today."
"Well, I need the battery. Can you order it for me?"
"Sure, let me put you on hold while I check one thing." And she hung up on me. Probably not intentionally, but she hung up on me. So I called back but nobody answered the phone and it went to voice mail. I left a message with my name and number requesting the battery again and asked them to call me back. That was almost 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard back from them. I never haggled on price, they never even gave me a price, and not having a choice I would have paid whatever they asked (it's the only battery that works in my bike) and I called them three times wanting to spend money in their store. I'm not going to beg a shop to take my money so I called the Guzzi shop in Chilliwack, they had the battery for me in 3 days, called me back quickly, didn't even ask for a deposit. If you ride a Guzzi and you're in Vancouver I'd recommend driving the extra 15 minutes to Chilliwack, Pacific won't see me in their store again.
Great customer service. Kristine was Fabulous. Bought the same helmet I was looking at on Fortnine for $40 less - 20% discount based on 1St gear training course. Will go back again!
The best place to get your motorcycle gear! They have a lot of selection from many brands like: Dainese, AGV, Shoei, HJC, Alpinestars and Five. Ask for Kathleen or Arielle. Highly recommend!!
Staff are amazing both in the showroom and upstairs where you can get riding gear. They never pressure you into something and listen to what you have to say. The girls upstairs definitely know their stuff and will gladly share their knowledge with you. As someone that is new to the riding world, they made me feel comfortable and kept me laughing the whole time I was there.
Just bought my gears here... and the owner? was very welcoming and pleasant to deal with. Also the girl at the apparel department was very nice and helpful. would definitely shop here again
Great place to buy motorcycle gear (jackets , pants, helmets, gloves Bluetooth system for helmets etc.. Awesome deals when you buy in bundles. Helpful and educated employees to guide you for your perfect fit based on your riding style.
This should be the ONLY retailer for anyone to shop for motorcycle gear and accessories. Kathleen's expertise is second to none and will only recommend you a product that is absolute perfect in fit and function!
Decent gear selection but this place has merged with the ducati dealer. Not always the most knowledgeable staff and my recent was printed on someone's old confidential wedding invitation guest list.
For what its worth. Waited for parts since August; had to phone constantly to follow up. Now mid November found out no longer a BMW dealer. And still no parts.
This is one of the best places I have found to purchase motorcycling gear from just the selection they have to how professional Kathleen, Arielle, and Julie are. The first time I went in looking for gear having zero experience, Kathleen took the time to explain the quality and types of gear there are for different styles of riding. To add on, she tried to make me look more stylish on top of staying safe. They are much less expensive than online sites like Revzilla and Fortnine not to mention they have all the latest styles in stock.
Purchased my bike brand new from Pacific Yamaha some time ago. Brought my bike in for its first service at the suggested timeframe. They drained my bike of all its oil but forgot to refill it! Not only that but the service technician scratched the handle bar area of my bike (I suspect when they were adjusting the suspension). The no/low oil indicator light came on during my trip back home and I immediately pulled over and called the shop. The service department advised that it is very common for the light to turn on after an oil/filter change. I took his word for it and continued to ride home.
It wasn t until I began smelling burning from my engine that I knew something was wrong. Fortunately, I was very close to home and I pulled into my garage to check the bike. I checked the dip stick and the oil level was ridiculously low (like barely touching the tip of the dip stick this was after riding when the engine was warm too). I called the shop and explained the situation to them. The service department acknowledged that something was not right and told me to bring the bike back in. I asked them if it s okay to ride the bike given the circumstances and he said absolutely. He advised that very often people race their bikes on the track with minimal oil in the engine. Again, I took his word for it and rode the bike down the shop.
I met with the service manager at the shop and complained about the situation. The service manager stepped aside and met with his team (I suspect to figure out what they were going to do). Upon returning, the service manager advised that nothing was wrong with my bike and that the oil levels were good. I complained and demanded that we inspect the bike together. He said it s too late as the bike is in the shop being drained. I told him this was bull**** and asked him to explain why my no/low oil indicator was on and why my bike smelt like burnt wood upon dropping it off. He completely denied everything. Why would they drain my bike again after recently doing an oil change if there was nothing wrong with it?
They also said the scratches on my handle bars are commonly caused by keys being on the same key ring. I have no idea how that s even possible. Especially since my bike was practically brand new and the only thing hanging on the key ring was a silly Pacific Yamaha rubber emblem.
This place was a complete joke. For a dealership that claims to be #1 in customer service, I am not one bit impressed. I should have purchased by bike used on Craigslist.
They have a wide selection of items and the sales team here were very helpful and friendly. It was Arielle who had helped me in suggesting the perfect items, as well as going above and beyond by empathizing with a very unusual and traumatic experience I had just had at a different shop-- and offering support. I ended up leaving very happy with my new pants and gloves. I would highly recommend this shop for their professionalism, friendliness, and range of items.
Great service and great selection, if somethings not in stock they can order it and get it to you within a week. Look for Kathleen, she's the one to talk to for anything you need.
The staff is super helpful, they know how to listen to your needs and do their best to meet them. No need to mention that all of them are super friendly. They see you as a fellow rider who would go on a ride with you and they make you feel very welcome.
Looking forward to seeing their new store at the new location. My go-to store for motorcycle gear and I will highly recommend to a friend.
Terrible service center. So many problems I can't even begin to list it out. - Had to argue with them that a warped brake disc was not my doing on a brand new bike. - Bike was in for service for almost 2 months for them diagnosing a 'clicking noise' which in the end turned out to be nothing. There are way better shops to get service done at.
This store is awesome. Jeanine the owner is one amazing happy friendly person. She takes very good care of her customers. If your in need of gear weather it's Dirtbike or motorcycle gear. Jeanine is your go to girl. I have spent lots here and always great prices. I 100% recomend this store. I haven't yet needed the service but I'm sure there also good from what iv Hurd. (word of mouth) please if you visit this store. Have a smile on your face it brings brightness
Went in looking to buy a women's moto jacket and spent about 15 minutes trying on men's jackets without help from the two sales associates standing less than 10 feet away from me. I had to go over and ask for help. I was then pointed in the direction of the women's jackets. One associate pulled a few jackets for me to try, but never checked for fit. When prompted the sales associate knew nothing about stock or technical aspects. Terrible experience. It was my first time in and would never go back, the staff are incompetent. Even upon leaving and entering the store the associate sitting at the front desk couldn't even take the time to say hi.
First off, I want to start off that it is important to shop locally when it comes to moto gear to avoid wrong sizing and form a good relationship with your local business, especially when it's for a specific hobby. Trust me, its a win-win situation for you and the store. For a $10-30 difference online, I'd take the ride down to the store than wait for my package at home.
Now, as for this store, they have a good selection of gear and decent price. They have stuff for beginner to advanced riders. Mostly street, track, and adventure. I saw more premium items though than budget ones. The store is smaller than I imagined considering the amount of feedback I got from other people that referred me to here. Staff are knowledgeable and it didn't feel like I'm being upselled.
Got a good deal on my leather suit but the pants got delayed. Not their fault though as COVID delayed everything coming from Europe(where most good moto gear come from). It was just slightly irritating as I had to call weeks after the intended delivery and I wasn't given any update until I had to call myself and remind them. For in-stock items, go for it. They're one of the best in town. For special order items though, be prepared for possible delays.
Best motorcycle riding gear in the area! Ask about sizing and try it on and leave with new gear you will satisfied with. Cindy is very knowledgeable with gear.
Arielle and Kathleen are AMAZING. They helped me pick out the perfect helmet and were an absolute delight to chat with. Would recommend this place for gear.
Good selection of gear from a variety of brands. Decent size runs too. More importantly the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
