We made this our base camp for a spring time vacation to Alaska and absolutely loved it! The hotel is clean and well appointed. Our room was nice sized, comfortable and quiet. The grounds are well kept and the views are spectacular. It's a little remote so there are not alot of food and entertainment choices close by if you are used to that sort of thing.

Overall, we are very happy we stayed here and highly recommend it.

Incredible Blue-Bird day of Skiing!

Hands down, our favorite spot in Alaska! We come down to ski all day and stay the night. The huge salt water hot tub is amazing after a long day out on the mountain. The Sitzmark is close by with shuttle service right from the hotel- great food! Huge fire pits outside the resort to warm up by, also. This...

Good to see the facility back in good repair, under new ownership. It had suffered under Wyndham. I like the dark rich wood in the rooms. Love the big dark French doors separating the bathroom from the bedroom. The design affords privacy when needed.

Amazing spot just outside of Anhcorage. We stayed just for a night on the way to Whittier for a fishing trip, but i imagine it would be a great spot for a stay of several days. The gondola up to the restaurant with a view of the glaciers is a must do.

AMAZING PLACE!!! I cannot express how great this place is. May be a little of a drive, but this place is high end! Have a great tram to the top of the mountain and there is a restaurant up there! They have rental skis snowboards, and boots!

For starters, the rooms are a bit dated, skiing/snowboard trail to the hotel is a big pain after a long day of riding the slopes and the food in the hotel is extremely OVERPRICED! 6 dollar smoothies and 12 dollars for two eggs at the breakfast place isn t for me. Otherwise, the hotel vibe is pretty good and the pool is outstanding. May sound like I have a hate for this hotel but everyone has to like the Alyeska Resort!

I've been visiting and a customer of Alyeska Resort with my family as a child and as an adult. I love the calming vibe of the Resort, the beautiful art within, pool and spa, various restaurants, and the beautiful scenery and multitude of activities to do surrounding the area. This resort covers a plethora of ones wants/desires; whether one wants some peace and relaxation, to get out and be adventurous, celebrate special occasions, host a business event, or even celebrate a wedding.

Alyeska Resort is a great place for all ages from all over the world. Here, you won't find a crowded ski slope or mega Colorado like resort, bette yet you still find that Local Alaska crowd that still lives and breathes their local ski resort. I've really enjoyed over the years coming to Alyeska, if that's with family, friends or coworkers there is something for everyone. The pool at the hotel is just a site to see, the tram ride up to the 7 glaciers restaurant is an experience everyone needs to see for themselves. As a photography, it's not difficult to create a great photo with Alyeska as your background. If you're thinking of a trip to Alyeska no matter where you live, I highly recommend it! You may even get a chance to see the northern lights! The only thing Alyeska needs is a chairlift to the top!

During the off season the hotel is a romantic getaway with almost the right amount of service. Everything was a bit slow and there was nothing to be done about it but enjoy the peace and quiet.

We recently moved to Alaska and have been wanting to go to the resort for a while. Unfortunately, we arrived late at night so we didn't get to do too much. We did gotl to the breakfast buffet which was good (omlette guy burned my husband's omlette) . We went up the tram (first ride up at 9:30). The ride was great, saw a stunning rainbow, but when we got to the top some employees were arguing (pretty intense) . Also, nothing was open. We stayed up about 30 minutes (took some good selfies) and rode back down. The tulips on the property were beautiful!!! That is about all we did. Oh... The room was pretty hot. The windows should open a little more!!

This could've been a such a good resort, but due to covid-19 most of the amenities were shut down, coincidentally only the amenities and services you would pay for anyways, like the restaurant where breakfast is served (it's not included!) and the restaurant at the summit were open/available.

One of my favorite places to stay in Alaska. Kids LOVE the hotel and pool, make sure you upgrade to a suite if you have your family with you. Ski in/out is great we got our room for 175, you would pay 400 in Colorado so take advantage!!!

This is an incredible hotel. From the original artwork in the vast lobby to the views from the luxurious rooms to the spectacular tram ride to restaurant on the top of the mountain, this is a great hotel.

Really far out of town. Fair rates. Disappointed in gym and pool being closed. With not much to do this far out wouldn't have like to have seen that. Clean spacious room. Pillows on bed could be better.

I have a booth at the Fiddle Head Festival at Alyeska Resort. The management and security staff have been so helpful and very nice. The Resort is beautiful. I will recommend this place to all the visitors who come to Alaska.

The resort itself is beautiful! However the service is literally the WORST I have ever experienced!! We had no shampoo/conditioner when we checked in and after calling both "guest services" and housekeeping a total of 4 times with no answer, we finally had the option to leave a msg so we did, telling them what we needed and what room. However they NEVER came!! Again the next day we tried to call for toilet paper but as usual, no answer! When my boyfriend went all the way down to the front desk to try to get some, no one was there! Also at check in the lady said she would give us a 12pm check out and if we wanted to pay for later than to call b4 9am the day of checkout but we didnt even get the 12pm checkout promised. Also, we payed $80 for the lift up to the restaurant only to find out once we got up there the place was closed for a period of time but the lady who sold us the tickets whom we ASKED about the restaurant, NEVER chose to mention that it was closed and we were wasting $80. We payed $700. + taxes and fees JUST for our room for 3 nights and NEVER received even the typical common courtesy you would get from a motel 6! Unless you have no where else to go, I do not recommend this place. Not if you expect to get your money's worth.

I saw you replied to my review. Now as I stated before.. There were no signs or anything on your website regarding people who do have health issues that can't wear a mask "properly" such as covering the nose, due to breathing. If you stated anywhere on your website or anywhere saying people who can't wear a mask properly due to health concerns or anything can't ride the tram due to the health of other guest and whatnot.... then that would be different. But nowhere on your website or any signs say that. All it states is to "wear a mask". Doesn't even state how to wear one or anything. Highly recommend you change your rules and update your website saying so. I covered myself properly but also held my mask away from my face, just because I can't enclose my face fully or I would pass out. It has already happened, so that's why I have a form stating I can't properly wear one. So you should just update your website and signs saying anybody with any health concerns that can't properly wear a mask can't ride the tram or anything else that needs you to wear a mask properly.

Fantastic place to visit here in Alaska. Super energetic staff and well informed on what to do and where to go to have a blast. Also food was wonderful and tastful with a great amount of variety. Perfect weather and can never beat the great outdoors of alaska. The hotel its self is a wonder and a sight to see for yourself and it comes with very comfortable/modern rooms and room service. More things to do and see here at Alyeska Resort. I say give it a go and feel the experience for yourself.

The grounds in the summer at beautiful! We tool the tram up to the top of the mountain and had dinner, and it was fantastic (i would recommend bringing a coat as there is still snow on the mountain). The room was nice and maintained. The beds were comfy!

This is a nice hotel and the staff is attentive. I've not been to this fall yet but the spa menu looks good. There are several restaurants to choose from and a bar. There's also a small shopping area that has some clothing touristy items and a Starbucks. The pool is salt water pool which is nice and the hot tub has a great view. The fitness workout Room could use a little help there's a lot of equipment but not a wide range of equipment types and some of the equipment shows some wear. There's also not a lot of free floor space for other sorts of workouts. Top floor is supposed to have a yoga studio which also offers some other exercises for a fee but I have not seen it.

Nice hotel but with power flush toilets in all the rooms you'd swear you're sleeping in a public restroom. You will not get any sleep! Too bad, rooms are decent but I won't stay here again. You will hear toilets flush over you, the sides of you and under you....really ridiculous!

Wonderful family ski trip!!! The hotel is very nice - comfortable, clean, location excellent and the staff is amazing, but the amenities are the cherry on top. Food and wine were wonderful, the pool is nice and you can't get closer to the tram and the fabulous 7 Glaciers. We also had great skiing and although it was President's Weekend, it didn't seem too crowded. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!!

Beautiful resort and hotel. We visited for the day and were very impressed with the facilities. Gorgeous entrance, staircase, rooms, and even more so the grounds. We saw staff working on maintaining the gorgeous flowers while we were there. If you are staying overnight, wanting food, or just a hike this is a great place to do any or all of those just a short beautiful drive from Anchorage. Be sure to check out the Native Alaskan art all throughout as well!

Nice building and obviously great location, but I can't give more than 1 star bc of the horrible customer service here. I had issues last time I visited 2 years ago, and again today. We booked a night at the hotel by phone and were told to add the extra day at the front desk. Now the front desk refuses. "Policy". Despite 15 of us coming for this very deal, instead of buying discount tickets elsewhere. Waste of money and worse (!), waste of half our day dealing with the front desk, incompetent managers. Missing some good skiing. Refund???? Seriously, at @alyeskeresort, the customer is always wrong.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, classy, and accommodating. Every time I've stayed here has been a great experience, even though I don't ski. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for!

The hotel itself was great. The room not so much. The paper thin walls did not block out the noise from all the drunk kids running around all night. The food from room service was good but it took 1and 1/2 hours to get our breakfast. Other then that I liked the place.

If it weren't for being graced with the natural beauty of Mt. Alyeska the resort would've tanked a while ago. Staff are snobs and food is meh (just don't eat all day and it'll taste way better) The closing times are different all over the mountain but what I found most annoying was on my last run at about 8:15 ski patrol kept coming behind me and herding me down the hill. I told them I thought it closed at 9 and they said "we are closing this area and we are running behind so we can't go til you go" I had been there a while and my legs were tired so I had to stop a few times and the kept coming up behind me telling me they're closing I had to go. So annoyed and off the mtn I see a huge group of skiers coming down where I just was and ski patrol nowhere to be found. I get it you want to close and go home but you're there everyday I am there maybe once a year so maybe chill out and watch from above bc I am not planning on pitching a tent and camping there jeez.
